00:00This is Rajjo from MP 04. Watch me on this season of Hustle because rapping is my left hand's game.
00:17My real name is Ayush Rajoria. Like every group has a Rajjo.
00:21So I was Rajjo for every group I joined.
00:25And when I started rapping, I thought a lot about whether I should keep my stage name.
00:31I decided that Rajjo is my stage name and today here I am.
00:39It's all love. MP 09, MP 04, as long as it's MP, mid zone to the top, going for the W this season.
00:52When I was completing my studies, I was about to join the corporate sector.
01:01I felt like I was too much occupied. A lot of things were going on in my mind.
01:07So I tried to pen down those things.
01:10At that moment I realised that I can do this and I should explore it.
01:14There was a specific day when I felt that hip hop is my thing and I should do it.
01:26Every day I broke myself, joined myself, learnt a lot of things, forgot a lot of things.
01:32And then with every day, the affirmation kept increasing.
01:38That hip hop is for me and I am for hip hop.
01:45When I started hip hop, I was not mentally at a good place.
01:53I faced a lot of dark times. I was very low.
01:58There was also a time of Covid and I was not able to meet people.
02:04I was not able to talk to people. It was all virtual.
02:07And gradually I felt I was getting damaged.
02:13But when I wrote my first verse, I felt that I was healing.
02:22I felt that my mental and emotional wounds were getting healed.
02:26I couldn't heal my physical wounds.
02:32I would say that whatever people were stopping you earlier, let them stop you.
02:39Whatever you were doing, you were doing it right. That's why you are sitting here today.
02:43People will keep saying this, but don't listen to them.
02:47Just be you. Just be yourself. You don't stop.
02:51Because it's not there. It's not inside. It's not ingrained.
03:01I guess the craziest thing I ever did was quitting corporate.
03:05Quitting a good job and getting into a highly volatile and unstable thing takes a lot of guts.
03:15It takes a lot of guts, but always guts over fear.
03:22There is a company in corporate, I won't name it.
03:27They were getting me consulted.
03:30I realized that even in hip-hop and rap, you are giving your opinion.
03:37And I really liked this phase of giving my opinion.
03:42Because there was no restriction here.
03:47If I give my opinion as a consultant in a corporate environment,
03:51then that opinion is around a structure.
03:54When I started giving my opinion in rap, I realized that I will decide the protocol here.
03:59I will decide the structure.
04:02I really liked that thing, so I leaned towards it.
04:09When I started giving my opinion from my heart, it changed the entire ideology.
04:17I call it Rajology, because that's my ideology.
04:25I think the craziest moment in hip-hop was this day on Hustle.
04:32When Raftaar Bhai and Ikka Bhai came on stage, they hugged me.
04:36And the kind of love that I got from everyone there.
04:40It was so amazing and so motivating.
04:43That love inspired me so much that I will give as much love to hip-hop as I have received.
04:49Even more than that.
04:51And it's the best time to be alive, to be honest.
04:56I have never been more happy.
04:58The kind of platform I am getting and the kind of people I am surrounded with.
05:02It's a once in a lifetime experience and it is the best experience so far.
05:07And the only way is up.
05:09So I hope that more good things will happen in the future.
05:13Every new day on Hustle should be my craziest moment in hip-hop history.
05:22Two years ago, I was about to quit.
05:26I used to come to the studio every day.
05:28I used to sit, write and record.
05:32But the product that was coming out, the song that was coming out,
05:38I didn't like it.
05:40The sponsor heard my song and told me,
05:43You are not ready.
05:46According to me, you are not ready.
05:48You are not ready.
05:50According to me, things are not going well.
05:52I am working hard but why am I not getting results?
05:54I was not getting results because I was not vulnerable.
05:57I was not ready to know people's opinions, to understand them.
06:02But when I took that input from my comfort zone, from my sponsor,
06:06they told me their honest opinion.
06:10Maybe because of leaving that self-confidence,
06:12because of leaving that obstacle behind,
06:14today I am on Hustle 4.
06:18There is no hurdle, bro.
06:20If we talk about emotional hurdle, it was never there.
06:23Since childhood, this is normal for me.
06:25Although, people often make me feel a little.
06:30But if you meet such a person,
06:34with whom there is something like this,
06:38some kind of deformity is there in their body,
06:41and he is from childhood,
06:43then make sure he has the same attitude, bro.
06:46Just remember that.
06:48Because this is normal for us, for people like me.
06:52Although, if this would have happened in mid-life,
06:56that would have been very different.
06:58I myself am not capable of saying how to deal with that.
07:01But if the person is having something like this since childhood,
07:07it's normal, bro. It's all chill.
07:09Don't make that person feel like an elephant in the room.
07:12Because the more comfortable you will be,
07:15the more comfortable I will be.
07:17The body actions of the other person will make me uncomfortable.
07:21So, there is no need for that, bro.
07:23It's all chill. What is there?
07:25It's the body.
07:27If there is something less, there is something more.
07:29That's how it is.
07:33I was super excited.
07:35There was a lot of excitement that day.
07:37We jammed a lot in the studio.
07:39We laughed a lot.
07:41Everyone, the entire crew back at Bhopal,
07:43everyone felt proud.
07:45And when finally the legal team called,
07:50that you are coming,
07:52that time I realized,
07:54that you are officially going to hustle.
07:56So, I was a little scared.
08:03I play Para badminton.
08:05And I have represented India
08:08in an international tournament,
08:11which happened in Cairo.
08:13And there I got a bronze medal in men's singles.
08:18There I got a medal.
08:20Here I got the trophy from DMC.
08:26When I train,
08:28I prefer to keep the studio time limit.
08:30Whatever comes, I write it down.
08:33And when I have to record, I go to the studio.
08:36This is like when training is on.
08:39But in the off-season,
08:40we are in the studio,
08:42eating and sleeping there.
08:48Shout-out to MP04.
08:50Shout-out to Kolar.
08:52They have supported me a lot.
08:54The kind of energy they carry,
08:57the vibe and environment they have,
08:59it is very inspiring.
09:01It is very motivating.
09:03My family has always been supportive from day one.
09:05They are the only ones in my life
09:08who never stopped me from doing what I wanted to do.
09:16According to me, that rap in Backwards,
09:19last season when Gaush did it,
09:21it was something
09:23that I had never even imagined in my wildest dreams.
09:26That's when I said, bro, he will win.
09:28Because that thing is like...
09:32My brain exploded.
09:33Whatever you write,
09:35whether you start it from the front or the back,
09:38it is making sense.
09:40Shout-out to Sense.
09:48It's a blessing, to be honest.
09:50There are people here who I am listening to.
09:54All of them are amazing.
09:56When I initially came here,
09:59the first few days,
10:01I was very conscious and anxious
10:05about the kind of competition I am facing.
10:09So, there was a time period
10:12where I took some time
10:14to adapt and understand
10:16who is with me here
10:18and the kind of seriousness that I need to go ahead.
10:21So, I took time to make a mindset
10:24because the competition is tough
10:26and inspiring at the same time.
10:31I am hoping
10:33to learn a lot.
10:35There is no one thing.
10:37There are a lot of things
10:39that I personally feel I lack.
10:42As the time passes by,
10:44I will catch up on them.
10:47And...
10:49The biggest thing that I feel
10:51that I will learn deep down here
10:53is how to be an artist.
10:56I have not been able to
10:57be in an environment
10:59where,
11:02rap-wise, hip-hop-wise,
11:05I have been given an opportunity
11:08to learn a lot of things
11:11or absorb them.
11:13So, this stage I am on,
11:15this platform that I have been given,
11:17it will teach me a lot of things
11:20but collectively,
11:22it will make me a good artist.
11:24I am a good person
11:25but becoming a good artist
11:27is something that is needed.
11:34I feel that the kind of shape
11:37that my art form will get
11:40from the input of Raftaar and Ikka
11:42can make me
11:44one of the finest in the game.
11:46I am just expecting
11:48that whoever comes in front of me,
11:50tackle them head-on,
11:52understand them,
11:53and implement them, execute them.
12:02I am very excited to be in DMC's team.
12:05She said that
12:07I see a scope in you
12:09of absorbing
12:11what other people are doing
12:13and I see a melody scope.
12:15But the kind of confidence
12:17that she showed me
12:19just by seeing my one performance,
12:21that is amazing
12:23and after that review,
12:25I have become her fan.
12:27I am super excited
12:29for the journey ahead with DMC.
12:31She is an Indian Femcee Titan.
12:33Big time salute.
12:38I would like to tell my fans
12:40that brother,
12:42sister, sir, madam,
12:45people will come for you.
12:47People will say,
12:49don't do this, don't do that.
12:51Do this, do that.
12:53Listen to everyone, do what you feel like.
12:56And just be confident.
12:59As long as you are confident,
13:02you are going to kick ass.
13:05And just don't stop.
13:07Don't stop.
