Clara's Summer

Clara and her best friend Zoé head to summer camp for a summer of adventure and self-discovery. Both virgins, Zoé views camp as her chance to loose her virginity. After becoming romantically involved with Sébastien, a fellow camp member, Zoé learns that Sébastien cares far more about his friends then her and has sex with her just to impress them. After discovering this unsettling fact, Zoé turns to Clara for moral support and then in a moment of confusion, professes her love for her. After Clara rejects Zoé’s romantic advance, Zoé goes back to Sébastien.

Meanwhile Clara finds herself hating camp more and more on a daily basis and drifts further into isolation. The other campers suspect her of being a lesbian due in part to her interest in the beautiful Sonia, a known lesbian. To quell such roomers, Clara decides to have sex with a male counselor but this only complicates things. She eventually succumbs to her desire to makes love to Sonia and confesses to Zoé, “It was wonderful.”
