00:00Tom and I were discussing this Ravens versus Bucs game. Ravens offense looking very sharp,
00:08very clean, able to get a lot of make a lot of way in this matchup. But Bucs defense just
00:13kind of crumbling there. Bucs offense kind of crumbling there. Trying to rally late in
00:17the fourth. It was a little too little, a little too late. Baker Mayfield closes out
00:21370 passing yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions, which is just not going to pay off for this
00:26season. Rashad White being one of the heroes of this game, though, not the 40 yards on
00:31the ground, but it's the 71 through the air and the two touchdowns that he was able to
00:35help accumulate for this team. And who led this room? It's Cato and 100 receiving yards
00:41for the tight end through eight receptions. No touchdowns quite yet. And then before the
00:45significant leg injury, Chris Godwin, 65 receiving yards through seven receptions. So what did
00:50we make of this game on the Bucs offensive side, obviously, or the Bucs side as a whole,
00:55Tom? Yeah, I mean, it starts off. Mike Evans has the touchdown. He ends up leaving. The
01:02hamstring is, I assume it's going to be some type of week to week thing since he already
01:05came into this game listed as questionable with the hamstring injury. There are reports,
01:10at least Adam Schefter tweeted that Godwin may be done for the season with the dislocated
01:15ankle. The running backs, obviously, I think this is going to be their strength moving
01:19forward. It's going to be a steady diet of the three running backs that they have, and
01:23then it's going to be Kedah. And then after that, it's going to be who steps up to fill
01:28some of the void. If we do see Godwin after the year end, Mike Evans missed any amount
01:32of time and or Mike Evans plays, but he's not fully healthy. And ultimately, even if
01:36Mike Evans were fully healthy, they still need a number two wide receiver out there.
01:40So whether we're going to see Trey Palmer step up, whether it's going to be McMillan,
01:45Sterling Shepard does have some connection with Baker Mayfield dating back to college.
01:50So I think it's going to be what we've talked about for a lot of teams where it's going
01:52to be like a number one option with Mike Evans, Kedah number two, and then it's going to be
01:57a game by game basis where sometimes it's going to be Trey Palmer stepping up. Sometimes
02:01it's going to be Sterling Shepard, as you call the Sterling Shepard touchdown a couple
02:05weeks ago, a month ago, whenever it was, because he does have some connection with Baker. So
02:10like on a game by game basis, we can look for props of those secondary or tertiary options.
02:16I think the three running backs have to be the strength of the Bucks going forward. If
02:20their passing game is not going to be a full strength, but Bucky Irving and Rashad White
02:24are totally capable in the passing game. So I think there'll be okay. I'm not going to
02:28say great, but I think there'll be okay.
02:30Yeah. And the offensive line will help a lot. So I wouldn't be surprised if it reverts to
02:35a little run heavy after that, but you mentioned it, both guys are capable of also catching
02:39passes. Not to mention is that Trey Palmer being in the mix of this team preseason wise,
02:45we've seen big connections between Baker Mayfield and Trey Palmer. There is trust there. I think
02:49that Palmer is probably being eased into the game plan coming off of injury and whatnot.
02:53So a number of opportunities there for a couple of guys. And then yeah, Shepard versus the
02:58Falcons is kind of where I was taking that one. So we'll see how the Bucks have to adjust.
03:02A number of fans were kind of frustrated with some of the play calling in that fourth quarter
03:05as well. And just again, Baker Mayfield can't turn over the ball. You can air out all day.
03:10You can hit these amazing statistics, but it's a number of quarterbacks in the league
03:13where you can't turn it over an equal measure to your success, getting it down the field.
