00:00Hello, my name's Catherine and I'm the lantern curator at the Glowwild Festival at Wakehurst.
00:07Here we are at the barn, which is our fabulous making space, and this year we've made over
00:13a thousand lanterns to hang in the landscape for Glowwild. I work every single Monday with
00:20our lovely volunteers, and they come all throughout the whole year to patch and to make and to
00:26create, which gives us all these amazing things to put out. This year the theme is trees,
00:34and we have ten stunning installations that are going to go through the landscape. If
00:40you would like to come and find the light in the dark this winter, do book your tickets
00:45and come to Glowwild. It's going to be amazing.
00:48And then we put a bit of like one, two, over, in a jaunty angle, so that it's not kind of
01:03blocky, so we do it like a star. And then brush it all, so it's, pick it up, and then
01:15you find a kind of nice spot for it and put it like a bed sheet. And then wherever you
01:22can, tuck it under, so that it stays.
01:46Who made it?
01:48It's a competition to name him.
01:50Aww.
