It's been a turbulent week in the world of international conkers! The PT's Community Reporter, Darren Calpin, explains how the high-profile cheating scandal that has engulfed the sport has finally been resolved.

00:00The World Conker Championships was rocked by scandal last week when allegations of cheating
00:08were aimed at the tournament's eventual men's champion.
00:22King Conker, real name David Jakins, raised suspicion when he was found with a steel conker
00:29which was made to look like a real chestnut in his pocket.
00:34Although former engineer Mr Jakins said he only used the dummy nut to entertain children,
00:40organisers were forced to launch an investigation.
00:44After nearly a week of scrutinising video evidence and taking testimony from umpires,
00:49judges and observers, tournament's organisers have finally concluded that King Conker is
00:54in the clear.
00:57Fully exonerated, Mr Jakins retired to his local pub to celebrate his victory, with a
01:03pint of King Conker.
