00:00In an accelerating display of skill and teamwork, Fnatic Onyx Philippines has emerged as the champions of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 14.
00:10Their victory marks a significant milestone in the franchise's history. For all the highlights and insights, here's Rafael Bandayrel.
00:19The fifth time's the charm for Filipino eSports team Fnatic Onyx Philippines. The quest for gold is finally over as King Kingkong Perez,
00:30Grant Duenkel Rapillas, Fringe Superfringe Ramirez, John Kirk Gutierrez, Boris Brusco Paro, and Bryan Spiderman Santos led the Hedgehogs to their first ever MPL Philippines title.
00:45It took all seven games for Onyx to put away the feisty underdog Aurora Esports. Four games to three in the Grand Finals Sunday night at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati.
00:56But for Kelra, the Finals' most valuable player, it was all worth going through all the anxiety.
01:15We came back, and we came back in the second game. I was really thinking, is there a curse? Is there a curse for MPL?
01:23When we won, I really cried. Because the curse wasn't real. I thought it would happen again in our Blacklist match in Season 7. 3-1, and we came back.
01:36Riding on the high of the historic victory, Head Coach Tony Whynot-Sederin believes this could very well be the beginning of the Fnatic Onyx era.
01:47Chapter 1, done. On to the next. ESL, Snapdragon, and then M6. Right? It's our dynasty. Not just now.
01:59After ruling the local scene, Onyx will represent the Philippines along with Aurora in the M6 World Championships, which will take place in Malaysia on December.
02:09Rafael Bandayrel, from the National TV Network of the New and Better Philippines.
