00:00Okay, Croesoti a Scopriodi, welcome to Priory School. It is a brilliant day because we've got
00:05a fantastic new community swap shop which is very kindly donated to us by the Green Man Trust.
00:11We are very lucky and very grateful for the relationship we have here at Priory School
00:16with the Green Man Trust. They work really hard in our community, they're a festival that takes
00:20place in Powys but they are a festival that looks after the community and they share our values
00:26and they care about what goes on here in Brecon and the surrounding area. So to everybody at the
00:31Green Man Trust, diolch o galon, thanks a million for all that you've done to support Priory School.
00:36This isn't the first time you've worked with us but we are eternally grateful for your support.
00:41This community swap shop started as an idea that Mackyla Davis, a town councillor, and I had one
00:46day to help families in need of the cost of living crisis and we just set up in an old hall with
00:51trestle tables and uniform and it's really grown to be a very successful event that supports people
00:56and helps reduce good quality clothes from going to landfill. But with the support of the Green
01:01Man Trust we've been able to create this permanent, and if you're from the Brecon Beacons National Park
01:06Planning Authority, but moveable, that will serve the community every day of the week for generations
01:16to come. It's also got a multi-agency hub at the back so that the community can access further
01:20support from agencies like Mind, our local councillors, the school, our fantastic Powys
01:25County Council staff and family liaison officers. So thank you for all coming,
01:29thank you for sharing this with us. It is a very special day here at Priory. Diolch yn fawr.
01:40Hey, mae'r siop gyfnewydd ar agor. The swap shop is open.
01:55you
