00:00Assalam-o-Alaikum, today we are going to make Chicken White Korma
00:04Chicken White Korma is a traditional white version of Red Korma
00:08but it is made with very mild spices and is very aromatic

00:19First of all, we will take 1 kg of chicken and add some spices to it

02:16We will heat 3 cups of oil in it
02:18Now we will add 2 onions which is approximately 1.5 cups
02:23We have to fry the onions on medium flame for 3-4 minutes

02:48We will also add 2 bay leaves and we will crackle these whole spices

02:55Now we have to add the marinated chicken in it
02:58We have to fry it on medium to high flame
03:05We will fry it for 8-10 minutes so that the raw smell of ginger and garlic will be gone
03:12While the chicken is frying, we have to make a paste
03:16We will make the korma masala
03:18We have to add 5-6 green chillies in the mixer jar
03:21Because we will not use red chillies in it
03:23So we have to maintain the spiciness with green chillies, black chillies or white dakhni chillies
03:28We will also add 10-12 soaked cashews
03:31I soaked the cashews for half an hour
03:33We will also add 1 tbsp of dry coconut powder in it
03:36It gives a very nice aroma to the korma
03:39We will add 2 tsp of poppy seeds
03:41But if you don't have poppy seeds, you can make it without it
03:46So that the korma has a nice aroma, we will add some special spices
03:59We have to add these whole spices in the mixer jar
04:01We will add 1 1⁄4 cup of water or as much as you need
04:06We will make a fine paste out of it

04:18You can make a paste out of it by adding some water or without water

04:27We had fried the chicken for 8-10 minutes

04:37We have to fry the chicken for 4-5 minutes
04:43After 4-5 minutes, we have to add the aromatic korma masala in it

04:56We will fry it on high flame
04:59We will fry it till the oil starts separating from the masala
05:03As we have added dry fruits in the gravy, it is difficult for the oil to come on the surface
05:09So whenever you face this problem, add 1-2 tsp of ghee or butter in the end
05:16So that the oil starts separating easily
05:19I have added 1⁄2 cup of water in it
05:22I have emptied the mixer jar
05:24That's why the water is white
05:26If there is a lot of paste left in the jar, you can remove it
05:29Now we have to cook it
05:31We will cook the chicken till it is cooked
05:34As we have fried it for a long time
05:36Now we have to cook it on low flame for 15-20 minutes
05:40Or cook it till the chicken is tender
05:44Keep the flame on low
05:46I have cooked it on low flame for 15 minutes
05:50Our korma is ready
05:52But the oil is not coming on the surface
05:54For this, you have to turn off the flame
05:56And leave it covered for 15-20 minutes
05:59When you leave it, the oil starts coming on the surface

06:10At this time, I have added 1 tsp of kewra water in it
