00:00the Google Pixel collection. Let's go unbox this and check it out.
00:10Good day, you beautiful people. Welcome to Issa Does Tech, where we do tech in your life, in style.
00:15In this video, we're gonna take a closer look at the Google Pixel 7 Pro and the Google Pixel Watch.
00:20Now, if you follow me on social media, you'd know that I am part of Team Pixel and Google sent over
00:25these two gadgets for me to check out. And I did do some quick unboxings on my Instagram and TikTok,
00:30but not here because I sort of lost that footage. I know you guys, I'm sorry. It was a pretty cool
00:35box too. But in this video, we're going to be taking a closer look at these two things and
00:40talk about my initial reactions. Really quickly though, before we take that closer look, let me
00:45show you where I'm at. I'm actually in Catskills, New York for the Pixel Cam, so you will be seeing
00:54more content on these two devices soon, including a camera vlog test. But yeah, in the meantime,
00:58a closer look. Let's start with the Pixel 7 Pro and some sample shots of where I am right now, actually.
01:24And as a small behind the scenes, this is how I shot that whole bit. My bedroom,
01:35luggage, bathroom. Look at how pretty everything is outside. So what's new with the Google Pixel 7 Pro?
01:44First off, this thing now packs the Google Tensor G2, which is basically the second iteration to
01:51Google's processors. And I mean, we all know that Google phones are great photo takers because of
01:56the processing. So excited to check that out. I have the black phone, but this does come in a really
02:01nice white and hazel, though we don't have the sort of sunny color, which I love. So that's a shame.
02:08The screen is the same size, more or less, as the Pixel 6 Pro, although this screen is supposed to
02:14be brighter. And it packs the same 5,000 mAh battery, although Google says that this thing
02:20is now more optimized in terms of battery performance because of AI and the processor.
02:26And finally, this thing features a 50 megapixel main shooter, a 12 megapixel wide, and a 48 megapixel
02:33zoom camera. And by the way, that means 30 times zoom with 5 times optical zoom. Up front, that is a
02:4010.8 megapixel selfie camera. Of course, I've already personalized the screen. As you can see, this is
02:48one of the wallpapers from Google. I love it so much. And you also have that selfie punch hole.
02:56The screen is also slightly curved. It's really nice because it's curved to the point where it's
03:02comfortable to hold, but it's not that steep of a curve. Three cameras on the back. On the right
03:08side, a lock button, volume rockers. At the bottom, speakers, USB-C port. We got a SIM tray. And for
03:14this phone, you have a physical SIM and an eSIM. And up top...
03:20So
03:40quick camera tour of the Google Pixel 7 Pro. And as you can see, I have made it my own. What I love
03:46about Pixels as well is that they have these fun themed wallpapers. Well, one, you can get themed
03:54icons, but that's not new. There are really cute curated wallpapers from artists. And yeah, I love.
04:02Onto the camera tour. You have wide, 1x, 2x, 5x. That looks good. 5x looks good. Up until like 30x.
04:17Back to
04:211x. And if you tap, you can change around temperature,
04:26exposure. Up here, you have night sight enabled automatically. You have top shot. Again, that's
04:35like live photos. You have your timer. You have your size ratio. And then on the right side,
04:43you have your video slow motion. You have your time lapse up until 120x. And then you can do
04:51again wide, 1x, 2x, 5x. Nice. Up until 20x on video. And then you have your video stabilization
05:00mode, standard, locked, active, cinematic pan. And up here, let's check. You can shoot in 4k up until
05:0760fps. No HDR on 4k 60 though. Oh, you can do that in 4k 30. And then you also have speech
05:17enhancement options. On the right, cinematic blur, which is basically portrait mode on video. Nice.
05:25Can you switch around the bokeh? I don't think so, but you can still adjust when you tap. You'll
05:33see the toggles. Up here, this allows you to shoot in full HD. Under modes, you have panorama,
05:39photosphere, lens. On to the other side, which is your portrait mode. You can do 1x, 2x,
05:47up until 5x. And again, those settings. You also have face retouching on here. Motion mode,
05:57you have your long exposure mode, which would look like this. See how flowy the things are.
06:04And then you have your action pan, which on the other hand, gets you like a sharp subject, but
06:12blurry background. In this mode, you can do wide, 1x, 2x, 5x, up until 30x. You also get a timer.
06:24And then night sight, which gives you wide, 1x, 2x, 5x, I'm guessing 30x as well. There you go.
06:31It also tells you like how many seconds it'll take the photo. You can do max. Yeah, you get the idea.
06:38On selfie, you get your selfie illumination. Oh, wait. Oh, there you go. Selfie illumination,
06:46face retouching. You have a timer and you can do wide, 1x, up until 2.9. And this is on night
06:54sight. Again, it gives you the time. And if you tap, it'll give you those different toggles.
06:59Your motion mode, also available on selfie. So wide, 1x, up until 2.8. And then that's also
07:10available for action pan mode. You have portraits, wide, 1x, up until 2.8. You have your night sight,
07:25face retouching, timer. Camera gives you the same up until 2.9. And on video, hello, you can do 1x,
07:371.4, up until 3.9. You can do a time-lapse selfie as well. And this shoots 4K30 with a front-facing
07:49camera. That's cool. Cinematic mode is not available for selfie. And then we're back to modes.
07:55And time for some sample shots.
07:58Okay, so this is the Pixel Watch, up-close sensors on the back. And you can actually change
08:18these straps out. I'm not sure how. Oh, there, there's a button. So there are many different
08:24strap options for this. Oh, it's a slide up. Though, these are straps especially made for
08:31the Pixel Watch. Let's see if it fits my tiny wrists. Oh, I have a problem. This strap is too
08:38big for me. So this is funny. I totally forgot about the box because, you guys, we were together.
08:45We unboxed the other box and not this specific box. So we have here, how do you open this?
08:54We have the cute little charger. That's cute how round that is. And then the smaller strap.
09:01Press that teeny button, then slide it out. Easy. Slide the shorter strap in. I'm so sorry for my
09:08watch stand. We've been testing out a lot of wearables. Slot it in first. Let's see where...
09:15Second to the last. Slide it back in. That's a very snug fit. So I think I can go on the third
09:23as well. But yeah, I like that. How to turn this on now? Look at how nice and round the face is.
09:32So this sort of reminds me of the Zepp watch, except I feel like that was a little bit more
09:39flat. On your phone, download and open Google Pixel Watch. That was fast. It's making me download
09:47Fitbit. So this is what the Google Pixel app looks like. Shows you that the watch is connected.
09:53You have your battery. You have updates on here. Messages. You have your different watch faces and
10:02you can edit what's on the watch face, I'm thinking. Oh nice. Wait, I want to make this pink.
10:08Yes. Okay, perfect. Bold time. Yes. So you can change the layout as well. You can also switch
10:17out complications, which is nice. And then you can also add other watch faces. Oh, this is pretty.
10:25Let's take this tiny little tour. Let's start with swipes. Swipes up for notification. Swipe
10:32down for quick setting. And then swipe to the left edge to go back. Now let's learn about tiles.
10:39Oh, nice. Nice. Decided for recently used. Gotcha. Double press. Hmm. That also feels really nice.
10:57The fact of this watch being so round makes it so that it feels nice swiping around. Okay, so
11:06let's try and see what another face would look like. Okay, so you swipe around. I was trying to
11:13wait for the new watch face to show up at the bottom. You also have tiles on here so you can
11:20manage them, switch them around, or you can also add other stuff. Notifications. Again, you can
11:27customize all these notifications. You have your accounts, your play store, of course, and other settings.
11:38I know that some people have talked about not liking the size of the Pixel watch, but especially
11:43for people with like tiny wrists like me, I like it. It's not so overwhelming and personally, I really
11:49like round smartwatches. I don't know, I just really feel like it's a more classic look for
11:55smartwatches all around. And there are bezels on this thing, but I feel like it's hidden very well.
12:01Plus, with this teardrop shape, I love like navigating on the face. I feel like it's such
12:06a nice experience because there are no bezels on the side of the face that like obstructs
12:12that swiping experience. My personal wish for this watch? More cuter strap options.
12:34So I have high hopes for the Google 7 Pro because every single Pixel, whether it be the 6 Pro or
12:40the 6A, were really good shooters. As for the Pixel watch, I've been enjoying wearing it so far.
12:46So stay tuned because like I said earlier, we are at Pixel Camp right now. So there definitely will
12:51be more content on these two devices. If you have questions, let me know in the comment section below.
12:57That's it for today. If you want to see how I use my tech on a daily basis, find me online.
13:00That's Aissa Dutts, underscore on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. Until next time.
13:10Oh my god, you guys. Because I shot that short bit, I forgot my keys in my room.
13:22So I'm gonna get another one because whatever. I— Hi, River!
