A gardener (Oldřich Kaiser) and his wife live at the foot of a picturesque hill, tending to their small garden. Their idyllic life is disrupted when a new owner settles in a nearby castle and wants to transform the landscape. When the gardening hinders his plans, a series of bizarre events are set in motion.
