00:00What's up guys, today we're going to be talking about the HotWave R7
00:03Rugged tablet, really excited to get into this one
00:06And I want to thank them for sponsoring this and sending this out to us
00:09So here we have the 6GB RAM, a 256GB model here
00:15We do have also an octa-core processor, 10.1 inch display
00:1915600 mAh battery and we do have Android 13 out of the box
00:26Alright, let's pop this off

00:32It looks like we got a screen protector built, I mean right in the box
00:38Which is really nice, that's pretty cool

01:01Not too heavy, not as heavy as I thought it would be

01:11Alright, so we got some tools here for the bracket
01:16These are supposed to go on the back for the strap
01:18And I'll show you guys exactly how that goes on, it's very easy
01:23And then we also have USB Type-C and then a Type-C to Type-C cable
01:28And then we also have our charging brick as well
01:37And that's pretty much it here
01:40And this is also our strap
01:45Alright, so let's go ahead and check out the hardware here
01:50We got a texture power button
01:51We got our speakers, volume rockers, of course our cameras
01:55And then, on the side here, we do have our SD card support
02:03And then also our USB Type-C
02:05This is water resistant guys
02:06So, you know, obviously it's a rugged tablet
02:08So you can get this thing wet
02:10You can really, you know, beat it up a little bit
02:12And drop it or whatever and it'll be just fine
02:17These are really advertised towards, you know, people who do a lot of outdoor stuff
02:21And, you know, you're gonna be maybe in the mud, rain, stuff like that
02:25This is something you don't have to worry about breaking
02:28Alright guys, we're all booted up
02:29And I wanted to talk about the display on here
02:31So it's a pretty big display here at 10.1 inches
02:35And yeah, I really like the screen
02:36It's a pretty high quality panel for the most part
02:38It's not getting any type of washout or anything like that
02:42It is a HD display
02:44It is a 1280x800 resolution, 16x10 aspect ratio as well
02:50And overall, I have no issues with the screen
02:52The touchscreen is also very responsive as well
02:55Which is really nice
02:56And whether you're watching, you know, movies or, you know, a YouTube video or whatever
03:01You're gonna get a pretty nice picture for the most part as you guys can see
03:06So the display on here is pretty nice
03:08Now one of the things I liked about this tablet in particular
03:10Is that the software is pretty much stock Android
03:13So you have your Google Now page over here as well too for your latest news updates
03:18And it's really, really smooth for the most part
03:21And like I said, it's pretty much bare bones Android here
03:25SIM card settings as well
03:26If I forgot to tell you guys that
03:28You can hook your data up to this as well too
03:30Which is really nice
03:31And I just like how everything's just very plain and simple stock Android
03:36For the most part here for the experience
03:38Now as far as the gaming performance on here
03:40I've had a pretty good time playing games on this tablet for the most part
03:46It's been a pretty good experience here
03:49And I don't think you're gonna have any issue with gaming on here
03:53So, you know, if you're somebody that wants to do a little bit of casual gaming
03:57This is perfectly fine for the most part
04:00You guys can see it's handling Need for Speed pretty well
04:05And like I said, it does have an octa-core processor
04:06You can also put 6 gigs of virtual memory on here as well too
04:12If you need a little bit more RAM
04:14But so far, I'm really liking the gaming performance
04:16I don't see anything really wrong with it
04:18I don't see any major FPS, hiccups and stuff like that
04:23And again, this does also translate to web browsing as well too
04:27Which I think is extremely important for a tablet
04:29Because that is what you're gonna be doing, you know, for the majority of time
04:33On these tablets
04:33A lot of people like to use the web browser
04:36Not only, you know, just to browse the web
04:38But for the full desktop experience as well too
04:41Which you can pull up here on these tablets
04:43So, just in case you want the full, like, desktop experience on a tablet
04:47Then that's something that, you know, I really appreciate for tablets
04:52And also, I wanna talk about the software a little bit more here
04:56So, this phone comes with a tool bag
04:58Which is really nice because this plays into the sort of outdoor mode
05:02And not only that, but this is a feature that actually a lot of people have
05:06It's the FM radio
05:08Alright, so let's talk about the tool bag
05:12So, you do have the sound meter on here
05:14The PIC hanging on here
05:16The magnifier is on here
05:17You have a built-in protractor as well too
05:21So, a lot of useful stuff on here as well
05:29As you can see
05:32And then, you also have the volume
05:35As you can see
05:39And then, this is the mirror
05:41Alarm bell is on here as well
05:43So, just a lot of nice little handy tools I noticed with the software here

06:26Alright, so I wanna talk about the straps on the back

07:31la qualité de la photo est assez bonne
07:34et la lumière est bonne, je suis surpris
07:37j'ai pris une photo assez utilisable pour la plupart du temps
07:40les photos sont bonnes
07:43si vous avez besoin de prendre une photo rapide
07:46de quelque chose
07:48comme vous pouvez le voir

07:53pour la plupart du temps
07:54donc vous avez de bonnes caméras

08:39c'est qu'ils ont mis des batteries énormes
08:42vous n'avez pas à penser à charger
08:45vous l'allumez, faites ce que vous voulez
08:47et c'est tout bien
08:49j'ai vraiment apprécié mon expérience
08:51avec ce tablette pour la plupart
08:53comme je l'ai dit, c'est un tablette assez rapide
08:56j'aime aussi que le logiciel soit très propre
08:59je pense qu'il fait exactement ce qu'il doit faire
