दिल्ली: पहाड़गंज इलाके में प्रजापति समुदाय ने दिवाली की तैयारी के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर मिट्टी के दीयों का उत्पादन शुरू कर दिया है। वो हर साल दिवाली के लिए ये दीये बनाते हैं। पहाड़गंज के एक कुम्हार ने कहा कि ये हमारा खानदानी धंधा है, हम बचपन से ये काम करते आ रहे हैं। दिवाली आती है तो दीयों की मांग बढ़ जाती है। वहीं खरीदारी करने आए ग्राहक ने बताया कि हम अपनी दुकान के लिए थोक में उनसे दीये खरीदते हैं और फिर उन्हें बाजार में बेचते हैं। लेकिन जब से बाजार में चीनी लाइट और मोमबत्तियां आई हैं, तब से हमारे व्यापार पर असर पड़ा है।
