00:00Hey guys, Dion from Dion Video Productions here, and today I'm going to be doing an unboxing
00:04of the MacBook Pro 15-inch with Touch Bar in Space Grey.
00:08Let's get started.
00:20I'm very excited to finally start editing and working on this computer here, as it's
00:25been a while since I've upgraded my laptop.
00:27I upgraded this from my previous computer, which was a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina
00:32display, and I had that for almost four years, and it's been an amazing computer, but always
00:36I've wanted to upgrade to the 15-inch model, and also get a bigger SSD, and I figured this
00:41would be a great opportunity to do so here.
00:43So this is actually the upgraded 15-inch model.
00:46This comes with the 2.7GHz quad-core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of flash storage, and of
00:55course the Radeon Pro 455 with 2GB of video memory as well here.
01:01So as you can see, here we have the Space Grey model.
01:04I definitely knew I wanted to get this one, not just because it's a new color, but also
01:07because I just thought it looked very nice when going to the Apple store.
01:10It's not the same sort of grey aluminum that we're used to with all the previous models.
01:16So beneath the computer here, we have the quick start guide in this little booklet,
01:19as well as the warranty and the Apple stickers here.
01:23It would have been nice to see a cleaning cloth, but well, maybe the next model.
01:26And below that, of course, we have the new charger.
01:28Now, as I'm sure you know, this computer is all USB-C, with the exception of a headphone
01:33jack.
01:34Thankfully, they didn't get rid of that.
01:35And we of course just have the USB-C power brick and the cable as well.
01:39There is no extension cable, so if you still have your old one though, you can of course
01:42use that with this without any worries here.
01:45So let's go back to the computer here.
01:46We'll take it out of this little plastic sleeve.
01:48And compared to my black table here, it looks very, very dark.
01:51Now, I will say that the lighting does amplify this a little, but it is definitely a lot
01:55darker than the regular grey, and I really, really like it.
01:58And I think it looks really nice, especially when paired with the black keyboard and touch
02:03bar.
02:04And of course, we boot right up into the startup screen here.
02:07But that about wraps up this unboxing of the MacBook Pro 15-inch with touch bar in Space
02:12Grey.
02:13I'm very happy to finally start using this machine, and I will definitely do more videos
