00:0047 OFWs from Lebanon were rescued and returned home yesterday.

00:05They were accompanied by officials from the Department of Migrant Workers and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

00:10According to my interview with some officials, they will receive financial assistance from the government and psychosocial intervention as well.

00:16In total, more than 525 Filipinos have returned from Lebanon, including 30 dependents.

00:24There are still expected batches of Filipinos returning home.

00:27For now, the evacuation is still voluntary because the DFA has not yet raised the Level 3 status of Lebanon in Alert Level 4.

00:35They will do so once the chaos has become more widespread.
