00:00Let's learn thought letters Let's learn Arabic letters articulation points
00:06means mahrij mahrij in Arabic, articulation points in English
00:12What are they?
00:13The points of pronouncing letters called mahrij
00:18Welcome to my channel ever best Arabic advisor It is our first lesson of learning the maharij
00:26Today we will learn about the thought letters What are thought letters?
00:31The letters which are pronounced through a thought are called thought letters
00:36They are six in numbers and they come in pairs It means they are pronounced from three articulation
00:42points
00:43These letters are oin, ghoin, haa, hoa, hamza and haa
00:57They are pronounced from three articulation points in pairs
01:02From the upper thought letter, hoa and ghoin are pronounced
01:08From middle thought, haa and oin are pronounced From lower thought, hamza and haa are pronounced
01:18In Arabic, upper thought is called adnahalk And the middle thought is called wasthalk
01:26And the lower thought is called aqsahalk So from adnahalk, hoa and ghoin are pronounced
01:34From wasthalk, haa and oin are pronounced And from aqsahalk, hamza and haa are pronounced
01:41Now the question is how to remember these letters as their scatters in the Arabic alphabets
01:48So the tip is to first we try to remember as the letters come in pairs
01:53Oin and oin come in pairs Haa and hoa come in pairs
01:58Hamza and haa also come together
02:01First of all we try to make the pair of the letter with no dot
02:07It means the letter without dot, oin and haa we can make them a pair
02:12And the letter with dot, ghoin and haa we can make a pair
02:16So oin and haa can be separated as a pair And ghoin and haa can be separated as a pair
02:24And hamza and haa already a pair Ghoin and haa are now pronounced from the
02:31upper throat Oin and haa are pronounced from the lower throat
02:35And hamza and haa are pronounced from the middle throat
02:39So in this way we can remember that these three articulation points and the letter pronounced
02:45from them Now let's practice how to pronounce this letter
02:50with examples First we will practice the upper throat letter
02:55Adrul Haq that is Ghoin Ghoin, let's practice
03:25Now you practice with me
03:55Now let's practice Khoa, it's pronounced from the upper throat
04:15It's pronounced from Adrul Haq
04:46Khoa makes the maximum throat, maximum resistance in your throat
04:59Now let's practice the middle throat letter
05:16Read with me
05:32Now read the words
05:46Varafa Oin
05:54Now let's practice the second middle throat letter
05:57Haa
06:11Haa also makes the resistance in your throat but it makes a middle resistance
06:17And Khoa makes the maximum resistance
06:21This is the difference between the both letters
06:23Make it sure to make the resistance
06:27More resistance for Khoa and less resistance for Haa
06:33Both Khoa and Haa are such letters which while pronouncing from their articulation point
06:41from their maharish they are moved in their maharish
06:45It means they touch their maharish for few seconds
06:49Haa
07:01Now practice the words
07:03Warahmatuhu
07:09Yahzanun
07:17Now practice the other one
07:19Lower throat letters
07:23It means Akshul Haq letters
07:25Hamda
07:27Read with me
07:29A U I
07:37Hamda and Oin are often confused from the beginners
07:43As both are near in their maharish and also they look like the same but it is not
07:51Oin is a soft sound
07:53Hamda is a straight sound
07:55A
07:57It comes from its throat directly out of your mouth
08:01It never touches your throat
08:03A
08:05Medium size opens your mouth and say A
08:09And while pronouncing the letters of Akshul Hal lower throat your chest also vibrates
08:15A U I
08:19Wabaa'u
08:27Almaa'u
08:35Tumaroon
08:41Practice again with me
08:43A U I
08:47Wabaa'u
08:51Almaa'u
08:55Tumaroon
08:57Now practice the second one
09:01Haa
09:09This is another Ha
09:11In throat letters there are three Ha
09:13Haa from the upper throat which make the maximum resistance in your throat
09:19Then Haa from your middle throat which make the medium resistance in your throat
09:25And Haa from your lower throat as you can say Akshul Hal
09:31It make no resistance at all in your throat
09:33Ok
09:35So this is the difference which you have to make sure to make the difference
09:39Mixing the letters is a big mistake
09:43So have to make sure
09:45A
09:47When you read this round Ha
09:49Or you can say two eyes Ha
09:51Your chest also vibrates
09:53This is the biggest sign that you are at the right articulation point
09:59That you are at the right mahrij
