ECO-WORTHY Bifacial 100 Watt 12 Volt Solar Panel Monocrystalline Rigid High-Efficiency PV Module Power Charger for Sunsheds, Canopies, RVs, Farms and Other Off-Grid Applications
- Or on their website: https://www.eco-worthy.com/products/bifacial-100w-12v-monocrystalline-solar-panel?variant=45481045229817
- Or on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=eco-worthy+100+watt+bifacial+solar+panel&_sacat=0

Use the link that gets you the best deal, found that they don't charge sales tax direct from their website if that makes any difference. I would say this is an alright solar panel. Don't believe that it has much shading tolerance though. I like the nice aluminum frame and the look of it and the quality that it demonstrated.

00:00Welcome friends to my review video of this eco-worthy 100 watt solar panel.
00:07This is a bifacial panel and I was able to get it reasonably cheap.
00:12I was on a website called slickdeals.net and I snagged the deal.
00:16I think right now there might be a deal on eBay for it for about $45 or $50 with free shipping.
00:23I snagged the deal from their website.
00:26I used a paypal. So it's measuring 40 inches by 18 inches and it's about 1.5 inches wide on the rim.
00:42So right now it's connected. It is October. It's about October 17th right now.
00:50So we have the New York sun. The sun is a little bit low in the sky.
00:54So let's see how much power it has.
01:02Right now it's generating 63 watts.
01:0863, 42.
01:10So that's okay.
01:13Now it's actually 82. 62, 59, 50.
01:24So now let's check out the back.
01:26Since it's a bifacial panel, it can actually produce power from the front and the back.
01:35That's the power it's generating right now.
01:38I like the build quality.
01:40First opening it up, I found that it's just nicely built.
01:46And for the price, I think you might as well get bifacial solar.
01:52Because it's very similar to the price that people actually pay for a non-bifacial solar panel.
01:59That's what's really cool about it.
02:01It has a nice big lip over here.
02:03So perhaps it's designed to be mounted very easily with these screw holes over here.
02:09There's no screw holes on the bottom or on the sides.
02:15So somehow it's got to be mounted like that.
02:19Now let's see what it's producing backwards.
02:24Backwards it's producing 32 watts.
02:30Would I recommend this solar panel?
02:33I would because you might as well just get a solar panel that produces...
02:40That's the open circuit voltage is 24.5 and maximum power output is 20 volts on this.
02:48So this might not work with every battery bank.
02:53So you need probably a 30 volt max input solar generator.
03:02This one I think can do up to 30.
03:05A lot of solar generators they can only do up to 24.
03:12Weight wise this is probably about 10 pounds.
03:16Don't hold me to that.
03:19Now let's see like that.
03:22Okay now let's see what it produces just lying flat on the ground.
03:27I'm just trying to simulate the conditions that people might put them in.
03:31Let's say this was on top of an RV roof.
03:34Or a roof period.
03:39So that's producing about 25 watts, 28 watts.
03:4344.
03:4627.
03:50And it's a little bit hazy also in the sky.
03:53So here in New York we don't really have that much power production.
04:01Okay.
04:03So 27 laying flat down.
04:06Okay.
04:08Now let's try putting it back up.
04:13What other.
04:15Maybe at a more steeper angle.
04:19Like this.
04:25That's producing about 42 watts.
04:3034.
04:3243.
04:3435.
04:3540.
04:36So guys this is winter time.
04:38And depending where you are in the world.
04:41You will probably have a little bit of a different power curve.
04:46Now let's see what partial shading is.
04:58Now with partial shading like this.
05:01It's producing zero watts.
05:04Go back, go back.
05:07Light partial shading.
05:09Still producing zero watts.
05:12Now it's producing again.
05:1418.
05:16Zero.
05:17Okay friends.
05:19This has been a quick review.
05:21This has been a quick review of this 100 watt solar panel.
05:26I mean it works, it's a solar panel.
05:29What more can you really ask.
05:31What I like about it is the rim.
05:33I like that it's bifacial.
05:35I like the price.
05:36I picked it up because the price was just really low.
05:38I was able to I think get it for 45.
05:40There's no sales tax if you visit the eco-worthy.com website.
05:46I'm not sponsored.
05:47I bought my own stuff.
05:48I just wanted to share it with others.
05:50Because you're trying to buy stuff online.
05:52And you actually wanted to see it physically.
05:55And that's why I made this quick video just for you guys.
05:58So thumb it up.
05:59Check out my other videos.
06:01And I'll see you in the next one.
06:02Have a great day.
06:03Bye.
