00:00Hello everybody. Welcome out to the first part of Life is Strange. This is the game
00:15that everybody voted for when I was doing the to see what y'all want me to play. I'm
00:25sorry that it took me so long to finally get to this, but here we are and I hope that all
00:34the one that picked Life is Strange, I hope that y'all will enjoy this wonderful game
00:42that is so good and one thing for sure, you can never escape the lighthouse. And I think
00:54this journey with Max is going to be a roller coaster for me, but I hope that y'all will
01:05enjoy this game on PS4. I decided to go with the PS4 version, the original. So this is
01:16Life is Strange PS4. So I guess I'm going to go ahead and turn up the volume and let's
01:27get into this beautiful game. Sit back, grab a snack, grab a drink, and let's start Life
01:40is Strange. I'm going to do my best on the acting in this game. I'm not the best. I wanted
01:49to let y'all know, but here we go. Let's start this part one. Oh, I did turn down the volume
02:03just in case, because I know in Life is Strange, there are copyrights. So there should be no
02:12music in this game. I'm sorry about that. I wish that Don and I could have got the copyright
02:23free music instead, but here we are. I just wanted to fill y'all in. And also another
02:31thing, this is going to be a clean version of Life is Strange. I'm going to edit out
02:42the cuss words as much as I can out of this game, because I don't want kids that are younger
02:53to hear those cuss words. I want to make this game like a family friendly game without the
03:01cuss words going to hurt y'all's kids ears. Or if there's a Christian people out there,
03:10I don't want them to hear it. So I just wanted to fill you in on that before we start this
03:18new game. Okay, that's it. Let's start. And I hope that y'all will enjoy this ride in
03:28my playthrough.
03:59Where am I? What's happening? I'm trapped in a storm? How did I get here? And where
04:18am I? What's here? Wait, there's the lighthouse. I'll be safe if I can make it there. I hope.
04:42Sorry about that, y'all. I had to adjust my camera because it was acting kind of weird.
04:54Anyway, somehow we ended up in a storm with Max. And I have a feeling that she is streaming.
05:07That's just my feeling. But let's look at Max. Oh, wow. She looks so gorgeous. She looks
05:17like she grew up. Like a teenager now than how she was when she was very younger in the
05:27Farewell episode. But this front of the intro will always be kind of like an inconic line.
05:41Inconic video. And the storm looks so awesome. Look how lighting it is. Whoa, that's cool.
05:56I love the effect in this area. Okay, let's go to the lighthouse. What did that say? I
06:19cannot... I can't read that. What that says on that sign. So I don't know. So I'm just
06:30going to just keep walking past these logs. Oh, wow. Now that is the biggest tornado that I've
06:49ever seen in my life. Oh, my goodness. But the lighting storm is awesome. But tornado? Oh, my
07:04goodness. Yeah, I can tell. And look at what is going after the Arcadia Bay. Oh, my goodness.
07:20Okay, that's probably the map to the Arcadia Bay.
07:50Whoa. That was so surreal. Okay, I'm in class. Everything's cool. I'm okay.
08:17Oh, my goodness.
08:28I didn't fall asleep. And that sure didn't feel like a dream. Weird.
08:48Shh, shh, shh, shh.
08:58And any one of you could do that to me. Isn't that too easy? Too obvious? What if Arbus chose to capture
09:07people at the height of their beauty or innocence? She had a brilliant eye. So she could have taken
09:14another approach. I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of her work. I prefer Robert Frank. Me too,
09:23Victoria. He captured the essence of post-war beat America. And there was honesty about the economic
09:29conditions of the era. But a beauty in the struggle. You don't have beauty without a beat. Which
09:35explains why Frank was Kerouac's photographic muse. And both were the great chroniclers of the 1950s.
09:42Well, we've all seen that iconic shot of Kerouac on the balcony. And if you haven't, shame, shame.
09:49Capturing the romantic urban solitude of the 20th century poet. You dig?
09:55Now, contrast Frank's stark Americana with Salvador Dali's surrealist photographs. Like Cocteau, he was a true
10:03Renaissance man. And his famous self-portraits are famous early examples of that truly awful word you pesky
10:09kids love so much. The selfie. And it's a great tradition, and I wholeheartedly fight for your right to self-expression.
10:17Or selfie-expression. Sorry, I know. So if anybody wants to question the portrait as modern narcissism, they
10:26could go back hundreds of years to blame society. Speaking of questions, I bet you thought I'd talk all the way
10:33until the bell rang. It's your turn to lecture us. Now, based on the chapters I have no doubt you all memorized,
10:40who can tell me the name of the actual process that led to the birth of this self-portrait?
10:49Okay, over there. That's Kate.
10:54This does not bode well.
10:56And that's Victoria.
11:02Look at this crap. How can I show this to Mr. Jefferson? I can hear the class laughing at me now.
11:10I mean, it's not a bad picture, Max. It looks kinda good. I don't see nothing wrong with it. It looks kinda good to me.
11:26I haven't kept up with my journal as much as I should.
11:29Just jump right in with an answer.
11:31If anybody else looked at this, what would they think?
11:35October 1st. October, my favorite month. The best weather of the year.
11:42I love watching the leaves change color, turning into tiny flames. But it's still too hot, thanks global warming.
11:52And I can't bust out the big coats and sweater or scary movies yet.
11:59Soon, Kate let me borrow the October Country by Ray Bradbury.
12:05I haven't read much by him, which caused Warren to almost revolt my geek cred before I held up my copy of Battle Royale.
12:15But he nails the autumn atmosphere of small towns.
12:19The last time I wore a Halloween costume was with Chloe. I have pictures in one of my old albums.
12:26I should find a real Halloween party to crash so I can experience some social mingling.
12:32Is that or a Fortes Club Stroke Fest swimming party or is that Backstroke Fest? You so punny, Max.
12:40At least I'm trying to climb out of my cocoon.
12:44I shouldn't expect my life to completely change after a few weeks of Blackwell Academy as my parents love telling me on a loop.
12:54You have all the time in the world.
12:57July 10, 2013. I got accepted into Blackwell Academy.
13:03If words could dance, this would be a rave even though I've never been to one.
13:08But who cares because I got into Blackwell Academy.
13:12I didn't think I would be so excited since it's not like I didn't used to live in the same town.
13:20But when I saw the text from the Blackwell Scholarship Office, I could literally feel my pulse speed up.
13:27I thought it was going to say, sorry, thanks for playing. It took me a few seconds before I read the whole thing.
13:35I guess I wanted to enjoy that last moment of blissful ignorance.
13:39When I saw the first word, congratulations, I think I screamed.
13:45My mom cried and my dad laughed. They're so weird, but they're happy.
13:49And this means extra financial support because they don't have to pay anything to Blackwell.
13:55This means new clothes and if I can work it, a new laptop.
14:00Oh, and I have to keep telling myself in cast that I am going to Blackwell Academy.
14:06August 18, 2013.
14:09So this is it. I'm leaving Seattle to go back to Arcadia Bay.
14:15Usually people go to the high school closet to home. I suppose I am too.
14:20It's just I haven't lived there for five years.
14:23Out of all the best photography programs in the world, I choose to go to the smallest back in a town I was cited about leaving.
14:33Maybe I wanted to come back all alone just to see if Chloe and I are still even friends.
14:39But I do wish Chloe could have moved with us to Seattle.
14:44That city was made for her.
14:46When we would play pirates in our rooms and in the woods, it seemed like Seattle was that fable fairway island of treasures and adventures that we were always seeking with coffee shops.
15:00But Seattle wasn't like a fable, en contraire.
15:04Now Blackwell Academy seemed more exotic to me than any other place in the world to study photography under Mark Jefferson.
15:13Insert hearts and flowers, plus there will be cool, diverse students from everywhere.
15:20It won't be like my high school now.
15:22I never really found a groove with my classmates.
15:27Or, boys, I'm lucky I have a couple of great friends here, but it's time to ship out.
15:33So maybe Arcadia Bay will actually turn out to be the island of treasure and adventures I've been looking for.
15:41August 25th, 2013.
15:44Stuff is crazy here.
15:46I didn't realize how much crap I had to pack until I had to pack all my crap.
15:52Mom and Dad are getting a little too excited I'm clearing out my room, though I caught Mom crying when she was packing my shirts.
16:02That made me want to cry like a little girl and never leave Seattle, so instead of packing, I feel like burning all my clothes.
16:10Then just raiding a thrift store to build up a new max wardrobe over my junior year.
16:16Not that I even have an old max wardrobe.
16:19Nobody will know me except for Chloe, and who knows how different we are now.
16:24So I can cut my hair, get a tat, and some piercing.
16:28Maybe date a cute foreign exchange artist from Paris or Rome.
16:33I can't do anything unless I get busted.
16:36And there will be so many super cool chances for my photography to get exposed.
16:42Thinking about that is when I get scared but excited and then I don't feel like crying at all, I get tingles down my arms.
16:50Sensing the universe open up for me, I can't wait to leave.
16:54I just want things to be different at Blackwell.
16:58September 2nd, 2013 at 12.07 AM.
17:02My first energy from my new dorm room the night before my first day at Blackwell.
17:11Phew, I haven't had any time to write or even take pictures since I got here.
17:16My stuff is in the boxes all over the room.
17:19Which is small, but mine and I never want to leave.
17:23I can't wait to decorate. I plan a whole wall of photos.
17:27I did meet some of my dorm mates, though I suck at remembering names.
17:31I don't blame her.
17:33So I won't bother right now.
17:35But I think I can already see who's going to be cool to me and who's not.
17:40It's a trying to get settled into a new school and social scene after I finally found good friends in Seattle.
17:48But I'm here now and this is the start of my new life, sweet dreams.
17:52September 3rd, 2013.
17:55Blackwell sucks. I told myself not to whine so soon.
18:00But the day started like Christmas morning.
18:03I barely had any dreams because I was so pumped to start my first official day of my new life.
18:09Like a dork.
18:11I couldn't figure out what to wear, so I chose what was on the floor.
18:15I'm no good with names and faces right away, but I pick up some names like Kate Brooke, Taylor, and Alyssa.
18:23And how could I forget Victoria Chase, rich stylist and title.
18:28I could feel instant judgment when she looked at my raggedy clothes as if I'm at Blackwell to strike fashion poses.
18:36Maybe I'm being extra crispy sensitive, but I think Victoria wanted life here to be like her own reality show.
18:45So that wasn't fun along with my general social unease.
18:49I thought it would be easier being back, call the Wambulance.
18:53I don't want this day to end all woe is max.
18:57It was incredible to walk across the green campus in the morning mist.
19:01I love the stone steps and brick walls of Blackwell.
19:04Everything is a picture waiting to be taken.
19:07Speaking of, at least one great thing did happen today in Mr. Jefferson's photography class.
19:14There's more to tell but journal, forgive me, I'm truly wiped out.
19:18September 4th.
19:19I'm having a load of homework already.
19:22So much stuff.
19:24At least give us news a day to acclimate.
19:27But to prove I'm not a total loser, I made a new friend in my science class.
19:32His name is Warren Graham, my boy.
19:34And he's a serious geek.
19:36Plus he's dark and witty.
19:38He comes across as kind of a know-it-all, but it turns out he does kind of know a lot.
19:44We talk about photographers and he actually named a few I never heard of.
19:48We traded numbers and he'll be a good study partner for a good friend.
19:53I need at least one base on a clique action here.
19:57I thought being 18 meant I didn't have to deal with this teenage drama anymore.
20:02I thought.
20:03At least I get to research famous photographers for some of my homework.
20:07Mr. Jefferson assigned us a ton of reading.
20:10But this is exactly what I wanted to study.
20:13Mr. Jefferson is super cool and super chill.
20:16He doesn't try to be too hip.
20:18Just say what he thinks and expect us to as well.
20:21I think he's a genius.
20:23Oh my god, I want to marry him.
20:26Just joking.
20:27This one class is worth all the social dysfunction.
20:32September 15th.
20:33Homework is kicking my booty.
20:35I bet the teachers grade harder just to stop you from feeling special.
20:40But Victoria Chase and her snob minions still front like they're honored guests of Blackwell.
20:45The bros here aren't that different.
20:47Nathan Prescott is Victoria's male clone.
20:50Which way more money and attitude if that's possible.
20:53His family is the oldest in Arcadia Bay and I heard stories about them when I was a kid.
20:59The Prescott give a load of bang to Blackwell so Nathan act like he's literally own the school.
21:07Yesterday during class he put his feet on the desk, started texting and the teacher didn't say jack.
21:13I get suspended but him and Victoria are part of this silly elite vortex club.
21:19That put on popular parties and so they get their way.
21:23It's good to be the king and queen.
21:25I don't want to slam everybody.
21:27I do like Kate Morris.
21:28She's down the hall and in one of my classes.
21:31She's so pretty and sweet and friendly.
21:34It makes her more beautiful than the students here like Victoria who thinks beauty is just your face and outfit.
21:43See already playing their drama games no more.
21:47September 23rd.
21:49Finally had a chance to take some actual shots around campus today.
21:53A perfect blue sky day.
21:55I always forget how sweet I feel after I take pictures.
21:59When I've been slacking off speaking of pictures.
22:02Mr. Jeffrin told us about the National Everyday Hero photo contest he wanted us all to enter.
22:08The winner gets a trip to San Francisco and lots of publicity.
22:13He wanted just one photograph from each student.
22:16This is exactly why I wanted to come to Blackwell and of course I'm scared to enter.
22:22At least I have a couple of weeks before the deadline in October.
22:26So I have plenty of time to stress and procrastinate.
22:29September 30th.
22:31I don't know whether I love it or hate it here.
22:34I try to keep up with my science class of all things like I give a world or even understand it.
22:41Good things I know Warren too bad I can't clone him to take my plays in class.
22:47Ms. Grant is much cooler than in the class.
22:51She's playing particle physics so even boneheads like me can kinda understand.
22:56I love how she relates society to science and vice versa.
23:00I can tell she's committed and passionate about life unlike some of us in her class.
23:06But I'm trying to engage more even if it means asking actual questions in class.
23:11Instead of hiding in the back.
23:13I'm just glad I'm not the only social myth here.
23:16Now how much homework are you avoiding?
23:20Okay that is it of the journal.
23:23Whew that was a lot.
23:25Okay.
23:26About Max.
23:27My name is Max Caulfield and ever since I was a little kid I knew I wanted to be a photographer.
23:34I already seen the world through my own lens finder.
23:39Maybe it's a way for me to be part of the world but at a safe distance.
23:45For some reason I was always drawn to hold analog camera gear rather than digital tech.
23:51I love all kind of style and techniques but for me the instant camera selfie is the one I love most.
23:58I don't care if people make fun of me or not.
24:01I'm in a great company right?
24:03And now I come all the way back to my childhood home to study photography at Blackwell Academy.
24:10A private school for 12th grade seniors.
24:13On a scholarship even I originally left behind Chloe my best friend forever.
24:19At least until I left without talking to her once in five years.
24:24And it feels so weird to be back here without seeing her yet.
24:28So I'm 18 now an official adult.
24:30Even though I don't always feel so wise or mature.
24:34And I'm ready to begin a whole new life here with retro camera at my side.
24:40Say cheese.
24:42Okay this one is about Mark Jefferson.
24:44Not only is Mark Jefferson one of the best photographers in the world.
24:49He's also my teacher and one of the reasons I wanted to come to Blackwell.
24:54How often do you get to be mentored by one of your aspirations?
24:59I always love his desco and goth style.
25:02And he's so versatile with all of his incredible prints and advertising work.
25:07Still Jefferson can be a bit constant thing.
25:11He's pretty hip for his age but kind of aloof and sometimes pretentious.
25:16He has this smug smile when he thinks he's right.
25:19But I do think he's preparing us for how tough it is to be a full time artist.
25:24He acts like he understands my work and obsession with analog images.
25:29He really wants me to enter a photo in his everyday hero contest.
25:33But I done a good job avoiding that.
25:36The winner gets to fly to San Francisco to present Blackwell Academy and get national exposure.
25:42I like to think my work could be a good enough to win.
25:45And I'm honored Jefferson even buzzed me about the contest.
25:49About Kate.
25:51I've forgotten if I've ever seen Kate Marsh smile or laugh in the past month.
25:56She's really sweet and nice even though the other students make fun of her.
26:01And seeing campaign even if they act immature.
26:05Everybody at Blackwell are scholars.
26:07Not high school freshmen.
26:09She gets a lot of stuff in fact.
26:12I know she's involved in a lot of religious groups.
26:16But she doesn't preach to me so I don't care.
26:19But she's been extra quiet and introvert the past couple of weeks.
26:24She looks like she's in the psalming mode.
26:26I wish I could help her but I can barely help myself.
26:29I wonder if all the bullying has worn her down.
26:32I can see how it would.
26:34I have to make an effort to talk to her more often.
26:37Maybe invite her to tea or a movie.
26:39Although she's an adult.
26:41I bet she's not allowed to watch R-rated films.
26:45About Victoria.
26:47Then there's Victoria Chase.
26:49The leader of Blackwell Academy.
26:51And a total...
26:53And I hate saying that.
26:55I just don't know why somebody who's so rich and beautiful needs to be so...
27:00Incredible mean.
27:0218 year old at a pretentious academy should be involving into artists and scholars.
27:08Not reality show contents.
27:11Victoria does everything for masculine drama.
27:14She actually wastes her time calling me out in class and taunting Kate Marsh.
27:19For reals.
27:20I wish her parents could see her in action.
27:22They cut off that trust fund fast.
27:25Then again, she's in a vortex club.
27:27And they seem to own the school so maybe that's why she doesn't give a world.
27:32The odd thing is that she does no art and photography.
27:37She can even say all those French names that break my tongue.
27:40Her work is a little cold but she has a good eye.
27:43She also has an eye for Mr. Jefferson.
27:46Which is so obvious that I'm embarrassed for her.
27:49She does everything but sits in his lap.
27:51He keeps his distance though.
27:53We can all tell she's trying to win the everyday hero contest.
27:57I'm sure it drives her crazy when there's somebody who can't buy or seduce.
28:02Ha.
28:04Okay.
28:05The dad phone.
28:07Have a very special 18th birthday.
28:09You're an adult now but you're still our little girl.
28:12Check your account.
28:13Don't blow it all at once.
28:16Kate?
28:17Let's see what y'all have been talking about.
28:20Hey, Max.
28:21You around?
28:22Always.
28:23You okay?
28:24Did you want to get tea later today?
28:26Absolutely.
28:27I'll be free after four.
28:28Talk to you later.
28:30Mom?
28:32Happy birthday, Maxine.
28:33We can't believe it's been 18 whole years since you were brought to us.
28:38Kisses and hugs.
28:40Warren.
28:41What have y'all been talking about?
28:43Okay.
28:45Do you want to meet for coffee after school?
28:48No.
28:49I need an excuse to not study.
28:50Please.
28:51Make sure you check out Necromantic on my flash drive.
28:55Mwahaha.
28:57Hey, Mad Max.
28:58Let's bust this up.
29:01Wait.
29:02I have to study for a physics test.
29:04So if we bust anything, we also have to measure its velocity.
29:08Don't ignore this message.
29:11Anyway, that is everything that was in the journal.
29:15So I just wanted to read everything.
29:18Okay.
29:19Now let's do the pencil case.
29:21I can't believe I still have this pencil case.
29:24I should upgrade to the 21st century.
29:26But I like it old school.
29:30Look at this crap.
29:32How can I show this to Mr. Jefferson?
29:35I can hear the class laughing at me now.
29:39In the chapters you read.
29:44I do love my analog camera.
29:47I should take a quick picture now.
29:50My little camera bag is battered but still kicking.
29:55You did read the chapters, right?
30:02I believe Max has taken what you kids call a selfie.
30:06A dumb word for a wonderful photographic tradition.
30:09And Max has a gift.
30:12Of course, as you all know, the photo portrait has been popular since the early 1800s.
30:17Your generation was not the first to use images for selfie expression.
30:22Sorry.
30:23I couldn't resist.
30:25The point remains that the portraiture has always been a vital aspect of art and photography for as long as it's been around.
30:33Now Max, since you've captured our interest and clearly want to join the conversation.
30:38Can you please tell us the name of the process that gave birth to the first self portraits?
30:44I'm going to...
30:47So they're saying you're asking me or I did know.
30:51I'm going to say I did know.
30:55I did know, but I kind of forgot.
30:58You either know this or not, Max.
31:01Is there anybody here who knows their stuff?
31:04Louis Daguerre was a French painter who created daguerreotypes.
31:07A process to give portraits a sharp reflective style like a mirror.
31:11Now you're totally stuck in the metro zone.
31:14I'll shut up, Victoria.
31:17The Daguerreian process brought out fine detail in people's faces.
31:21Making them extremely popular from the 1800s onward.
31:24The first American daguerreotype self portrait was done by Robert Cormelius.
31:30You can find out all about him in your textbook or even online.
31:37And guys, don't forget the deadline to submit a photo in the Everyday Heroes contest.
31:41I'll fly out with the winner to San Francisco where you'll be vetted by the art world.
31:44It's great exposure and it can kickstart a career in photography.
31:47So Stella and Alyssa, get it together.
31:50Taylor, don't hide. I'm still waiting for your entry too.
31:53And yes, Max, I see you pretending not to see me.
31:59Victoria doesn't waste a second kissing ass.
32:09No, she don't.
32:12Even her school books are gift-wrapped.
32:17I can't believe she made fun of me in class.
32:20What is she, 15 years old?
32:22And people laughed.
32:25Of course, Victoria has to have the bestest, newest, most expensive everything.
32:32I should have known. She'll have better equipment than Blackwell.
32:39And that's a lot of money.
32:43PRODUCT GRLT-64
32:47With all the speed and power it's back from the new green lit,
32:51the GRLT-64 is packed with expanded features and manageability.
32:57It shoots what you want, where you want, straight out of the camera.
33:01JPEG image always has suburb quality,
33:04including a new level of depth, sharpness, and mountability.
33:09$5,299. That's a lot of money.
33:21They have carbon fiber tripods here.
33:24The ball head even has a pan lock?
33:26God, I'm such a photo nerd.
33:32That was amazing when Mr. Jefferson took a class picture the first week.
33:36Even though I didn't want to be in the picture at all,
33:39it was fairly cool to watch him at work framing us.
33:44I mean, it is a pretty nice photo with all of y'all.
33:55That printer is amazing.
33:57I'd love to see how it reproduces my pictures.
34:00I could pump out a whole gallery show with that thing.
34:03When I don't suck.
34:05Someday.
34:08I love seeing Mr. Jefferson's awesome photos on these magazine covers.
34:14Pop Vine, a Grudge Dead featuring the latest work from Mark Jefferson,
34:1910 reasons to get electronic mail.
34:24Yeah, I have a bad feeling that girl probably in the photo is probably dead by now.
34:30Probably another victim.
34:33Obviously, Blackwell spent bank on the computers here.
34:38Looks like somebody was already working on this. Cool.
34:41I mean, it does look kind of nice.
34:47I don't know if that's fan art or if that's someone that's a real live person in the game.
34:54I mean, if it is, she is really pretty.
35:03Okay, I'm saying, Kate, I'll be with you in a minute.
35:24Always gotta be a jerk in a crowd.
35:34Okay, I'm going to go ahead and talk to Kate because she's my girl.
35:49Um, uh, you seem quiet today.
35:58Uh, wanted to go grab a cup of tea.
36:04I hear that.
36:06Want to go grab a cup of tea and bitch about life?
36:09Thanks, but not today.
36:11I have to go over homework.
36:13No worries. Let's hang later.
36:15Sure.
36:18Oh, poor Kate.
36:26Hmm, this might make a cool shot.
36:34Okay.
36:43Rachel Amber lasts forever.
36:47Hmm.
37:04What?
37:11Okay, I'm going to squeeze past y'all for a minute.
37:34Lots of people I haven't heard of yet.
37:36I guess that's why I'm here.
37:44Here's the poster for the contest.
37:46Mr. Jefferson really expects me to enter.
37:49Why?
37:50I don't know if I'm ready for my 15 minutes of infamy.
38:04Best Represent Yourself or Others in Erotic Action
38:07Deadline October 9, 2013
38:10The winner will fly to San Francisco and represent their school in the National Everyday Hero competition at the St. Guy's Gallery on October 11, 2013.
38:24He may submit one image on approved paper for consideration.
38:32For those 18 and under, a parent permission form must be included with the image.
38:42Man, he even has the best plasma HDTV for a class monitor.
38:46Can't wait to watch some more documentaries on this bad boy.
38:55Even in pictures, the forest around here always looks mysterious.
39:01I don't know why, every single time I look at this picture, it just reminds me of Sean and Daniel.
39:09Where they go into the forest and everything.
39:14It's just like in a park.
39:16This is what it just kind of reminds me of in Life is Strange 2.
39:24You can never escape the lighthouse here.
39:32And you can never can.
39:43Whoa, Mr. Jefferson is not messing around with that monster.
39:47He probably paid 20 grand for that camera.
39:50I bet he gets pristine digital images.
39:53But I still dig my little instant camera.
40:00Okay, did I look through everything in here?
40:05I guess not Victoria.
40:07Every time I look at Victoria, I feel like she's talking smack about me.
40:14This is ridiculous. I always get so shy and nervous around Mr. Jefferson.
40:20I think I looked through everything, so we're good.
40:38I didn't have any time, do I have to?
40:42I want to say, do I have to?
40:49Max, you're a better photographer than a liar.
40:52I know it's a drag to hear some old dude lecture you.
40:56But life won't wait for you to play catch up.
40:58You're young, the world is yours, blah, blah, blah, right?
41:01But you do have a gift.
41:03You have the fever to take images.
41:05To frame the world only the way you envision it.
41:08Now, all you need is the courage to share your gift with others.
41:13That's what separates the artist from the amateur.
41:20Okay, if that makes any sense there, Mark.
41:26Okay, I think that is everything.
41:30I think I already looked through everyone.
41:32Let's talk later, Max.
41:34Okay, Kate.
41:36If you ever need me, I will always be there for you.
41:42Okay, I guess we can go ahead and leave, since that's everything in here.
41:49You didn't tell me how cute I look yet.
41:51I was about to.
41:53Welcome to the real world.
41:55Hot.
41:56Then I might send you a special picture.
42:04She plays it so sharp.
42:06I need a serious time out in the bathroom.
42:08Splash water on my face and make sure I don't look like a total loser.
42:13I hate that, guys. It's so fucking boring.
42:20She's so fucking sharp.
42:24Yay, no music! Woohoo! Let's party!
42:49These Missing Persons posters are popping up everywhere.
43:20Tattoo on calf of a dragon and a star on the inside of the left wrist.
43:25Rachel Amber, age 19.
43:27Please call with any information and call Archaea Bay Sheriff 555-388-6020.
43:46Ah, the science room.
43:48Here's the portal to Warren's brain.
43:54There's Taylor, always waiting for Victoria.
43:59I think that's Courtney.
44:01She's such a slave to Taylor and Victoria.
44:05Uh, excuse me?
44:08Push me out of the way? Why won't you?
44:10Rude.
44:13What a rude.
44:19Okay.
44:23Alyssa is always texting, but she doesn't hang out with a lot of people.
44:30Evan doesn't say much to me, but his photos are very cool.
44:41I hate having everybody see inside my locker.
44:45I love that picture of mom and dad.
44:48Hello, Jack. Kiss, kiss.
44:51Andy, you look totally fabulous, as usual.
45:05That's Dana talking to... I think his name is Justin.
45:10Dana is on my floor, too.
45:12She's such an archetypal, gorgeous cheerleader.
45:15They must make them in her factory.
45:18I shouldn't be so catty.
45:20Dana is nice to me.
45:24What is with these people trying to push Max out of the way?
45:28They're so rude.
45:30Stella is always deep in her notes.
45:33She didn't come to Blackwell to mess around.
45:36She didn't come to Blackwell to mess around.
45:43Aw, poor Daniel.
45:45Poor Daniel. He's so nice.
45:48I wish I could beat the shit out of Logan.
45:52Why not? He's standing right there.
45:54All you have to do is sucker punch him in the face.
45:58There you go.
45:59And then kick the other guy's tail in.
46:02And then maybe Daniel can actually run away from these two boys.
46:06I hate bully jockstraps like Logan.
46:09And he's a Vortex Club member.
46:15I've seen Brooke hanging out with Warren.
46:17She seems like his type.
46:26I wish October would last forever.
46:33It looks like she's been gone for months.
46:42They should just call it a sugar machine.
46:45That would be awesome if you put money in there and a bag of sugar dropped out.
46:53Don't beat a PC. Missed the poetry jam tryouts.
46:56And I did not steal that backpack.
47:02Reward on September 16th.
47:05My backpack with all my school books and my new tablet was taken from the cafeteria after I left it on the table.
47:13I really need this stuff for school and my tablet has a lot of very personal pics of my late cat, rest in peace.
47:22So I'm willing to pay small cash reward, no question asked.
47:27If you have any details or would like to confess you know who and where I am.
47:33Word up. Blackwell Poetry Jam tryouts on October 5th, 3.15pm in Maine Library.

48:03As if I am.
48:06Save Arkaya Bay.
48:08Over this past decade, climate change has altered the Oregon coastline, including fish and fauna.
48:15This has helped decimate the state's fishing industry, especially in Arkaya Bay.
48:22Arkaya Bay. Raise your voice against pollution and save our arolic town.
48:27Our historic town. Don't let your town down.
48:36I wonder what actually happened to her.
48:43Good thing I left my AK at home.
48:47Principal doesn't come out of his office much.
48:53Rachel Amber. She's so pretty.
48:56I hate these posters. So sad.
49:03Miss Grant is a great science teacher.
49:10How many students ever actually memorize all this s***?
49:13How many students ever actually memorize all this s***?
49:15I guess we all should these days.
49:18Yeah, especially if you want to know where you're going.
49:21Okay, I can't go outside.
49:24There's the lighthouse again.
49:28Like I said, you can never escape the lighthouse.
49:32Yay, Halloween. My favorite time of year.
49:37The Bigfoot Stomp.
49:39I should develop some school spirit.
49:42Go team.
49:45He's cute. I like skater boys.
49:48Too bad they don't like me.
49:58God, Samuel is such a weirdo.
50:01But I kind of like that about him.
50:07I wonder what actually happened to her.
50:11Black Wolf sure takes its swimming seriously.
50:15But otters are cute.
50:17Go otters.
50:21Look at these trophies.
50:23Gotta give it up for those Bigfoots.
50:26They do stomp.

52:03There's Juliet from my dorm. Yet another Vortex Club disciple.
52:15Nerd alert. This poster has Warren written all over it.
52:22These missing persons posters are popping up everywhere.
52:34Okay is that everything? I just wanted to make sure.
52:39Oh I forgot about you Hayden.
52:53The 4th 5th Club coming soon.
52:57It looks like she's been gone for months.
53:01That or a lot of years.
53:08Okay is that everything? Okay I guess I'll go ahead and go into the washroom.
53:21Empty. Good. Nobody can see my meltdown.
53:26Except for me.
53:36Now who would bother to write that crap?
53:39Rachel Amber is a...
53:44Hmm.
53:45Okay before we continue on let me look around and make sure there ain't nothing else in here.
53:57I remember when somebody pumped the alarm last month.
54:00At least I got out of science class for that quiz.
54:07This poster must drive people to have sex.
54:11Ascents make the heart grow fonder.
54:14You can still love and learn about sex.
54:16Time is on your side so it's common sense. Use it.
54:20Graffiti. Kate Twerk forgot.
54:23Uh uh.
54:27Whoever wrote that is a jerk.
54:31Kate would probably never do that and don't even do that.
54:36Or say that about God. No thank you.
54:40This first right here. This word. No. It's stupid.
54:44Ew.
54:46So offensive.
54:49So offensive that whoever wrote that is uh uh.
55:08Get the flu shot before the flu gets you. Get immunized today.
55:19I feel like the universe is taunting me everywhere I go today.
55:23It all started with that bizarro dream in class.
55:27Am I going crazy?
55:44Just relax. Stop torturing yourself.
55:48You have a gift.
55:59When a door closes, a window opens.
56:03Or something like that.
56:07Okay girl, you don't get a photo op like this every day.
56:12Whoa. Where did that butterfly come from?
56:16It doesn't look like any kind I've ever seen before.
56:20The blue wings are practically glowing.
56:22I can almost feel the air moving around me.
56:26The butterfly feels almost like a spirit.
56:41Uh Nathan, you're in the wrong bathroom boy.
57:11So what do you want?
57:12I hope you checked the perimeter. It's a nice step I'd say.
57:15Now, let's talk business.
57:17I got nothing for you.
57:18Wrong. You got hella cash.
57:20That's my family. Not me.
57:22Oh boo hoo. Poor little rich kid.
57:24I know you've been pumping drug sales around here.
57:26I bet your respectable family would help me out if I went to them.
57:30Man, I can see the headlines now.
57:32Leave them out of this.
57:34I can tell everybody Nathan Prescott is a punk and begs like a little girl and talks to himself.
57:39You don't know who the fam or who you're messing around with.
57:42Nathan, put your gun down.
57:44What are you doing? Come on, put that thing down.
57:46Don't ever tell me what to do.
57:48I'm so sick of people trying to control me.
57:51You are going to get in hella more trouble for this than drugs.
57:54Nobody would ever even miss your punk ass would they?
57:57Get that gun away from me psycho.
57:59No.
58:03Poor Chloe.
58:06Nathan, I think you made a big mistake there Jay.
58:09Whoa. What the?
58:12How? How can that be?
58:15I was in the bathroom.
58:17He shot that poor girl.
58:20I held up my hand.
58:22And then I was back here.
58:25Likely was.
58:27These pieces of time can frame us.
58:29I already heard this lecture.
58:31From light to shadow.
58:33From color to light.
58:36Now Kate is being hassled again.
58:39And if Victoria's phone rings.
58:42This is real.
58:44Can you give me an example of a photographer who captured the human condition in black and white?
58:50Okay, if I'm crazy, I might as well go all the way.
58:54Can I actually reverse time?
59:00And can she do it?
59:04We'll find out in part 2.
59:07Thank you all for enjoying me on this part 1.
59:11I know I didn't say very much in this gameplay for part 1.
59:17But there was a lot of reading and everything.
59:22And I had to save my voice for the reading and stuff.
59:26But anyway, thank y'all for watching.
59:30I love you all.
59:31Please give it a thumbs up.
