00:00I'm Pauline Easton and I've been in Home for a House for almost 20 years.
00:08So tell us what Dash & Cox means to you.
00:12Dash & Cox have always been great for me.
00:14I'll go there, they call me Pauline.
00:18Whoever's been there have always welcomed you and we've had fun over there.
00:27Will you miss the owners?
00:30Oh will I, yeah. I think everybody in the building will because it's so convenient.
00:37So we'll just have to wait and see.
00:41I understand it's still remaining a convenience store though.
00:44Well, fingers crossed.
00:47And what about yourself?
00:49I'm Ray Hawkins, I've been here 10 years.
00:52And what does Dash & Cox mean for you?
00:55Well, it's convenient like Pauline says and it's handy.
00:59I usually get my papers over there.
01:02The Portsmouth News I hope.
01:07The staff's always been helpful and considerate.
01:11And naughty with you.
01:14Don't bring that up Pauline.
01:18You've got some wonderful memories of not only the staff there but the store itself.
01:25It's quite nostalgic isn't it, that building.
