04:00Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Mr. Boris Gerhardt, I welcome you to the new REN Albus
04:25for luxury vehicles from Russia.
04:31So, let me explain you what does it mean, Albus, this new name for the brand.
04:39Albus has a three-folded meaning.
04:43One element coming from Aura, because Aura is related to the energy of people
04:50which have been involved in the development of these cars.
04:55The second element is Auro, coming from Latin, is gold,
05:01which, in our situation, we mean the value of what we added to the brand
05:07and the value of what our people added to the vehicle here we present.
05:13And the third element is the country of origin, is Russia, is Albus.
05:18So, again, welcome to Albus.
05:21But what is the history behind?
05:24When I talk about the history, we have to look back at the year 2013.
05:29And in 2013, there was a decision made to develop a new platform,
05:37a unified platform for luxury vehicles in Russia.
05:43And there was a tender, a lot of companies participated,
05:49and the winner of this tender was NAMI.
05:53NAMI is a Russian institute for automotive developments.
06:00And NAMI started with a team of young, motivated engineers,
06:07which, with enthusiasm, together with their partners from design,
06:13from marketing, from electric specialists, from sound engineers,
06:18everybody and all the specialists have been involved.
06:22And they developed this platform, what you see here.
06:26And I can shortly explain what are the key elements of this platform.
06:31On the front end, you see the V8 engine,
06:36which is with a displacement of 4.4 liter.
06:41And this V12 engine has a performance of 598 horsepower.
06:49But performance is not everything, so we need to talk about the torque.
06:53And it's the torque of 680 Nm, sorry, 880 Nm.
07:03Behind this combustion engine, you will find an electric engine,
07:12because this vehicle platform is a hybrid solution
07:16with a support engine on an electric basis,
07:20which we pointed out here with the red connecting lines,
07:26for the electricity system integrated.
07:30Then we have the transfer case, because this vehicle is a standard,
07:35as a four-wheel drive vehicle with a ground clearance of 20 cm.
07:41And I think everybody will understand that vehicles in Russia,
07:44they move only in drive because of the weather conditions,
07:47and they need this clearance.
07:49At the rear end, we have the battery,
07:54which supplies the electric engine in the front.
08:00So this is the platform, which was developed,
08:05but the result of the project are two breathtaking cars,
08:12which we present here.
08:14We show you at the rear the limousine L700 in its armored version,
08:23and here it's the S600 Zenad in the standard configuration,
08:30which we specially developed for this motor show here in a new color,
08:35and this color is made Russian gold.
08:38The interior is adapted as well to this design solution.
08:44If we come to the design, I need to point out that
08:50we have a principle that says design follows the function.
08:58That means, first, we need to understand what is the requirement of the client,
09:04and when we developed this vehicle, we made two car clinics
09:07to understand what are the requirements of the clients in the luxury sector.
09:12And then we created this classical design with a timeless style,
09:19and we are free from any short-term influences in automotive design.
09:28We want to stay with a traditional one in the three box system.
09:33If you look at the front end, you see here the face of the vehicle,
09:39and the face shows some massive and strong air intake,
09:46and we need this air intake for the cooling of brakes and the engine inside.
09:53And it characterizes the message of the brand as well,
10:00because our message is to present the inner force of the brand
10:08and the inner force of the vehicle, which I explained to you before,
10:12because there's a huge performance behind.
10:15There are some details which I can explain as well,
10:20and one of our very important pillars of our product strategy is to provide individualization.
10:34We are able to provide any interior design,
10:39the car can define the color in any taste or in any color the client wants.
10:48The leather, we have the leather from Russia, and you see on the right side of our stand,
10:55you see the soul for individualization, what is possible.
10:59But if the client finds something not there, we will think about it,
11:04we will find a solution.
11:06And there's another small element which is really interesting to understand.
11:14When we close the door, the door is closed till the end here, till the end of the body structure.
11:23That means that the inner part of the body is always clean,
11:31and when you exit the vehicle, your trousers will always be clean, not dirty.
11:36These are some smaller things which have been discussed with the client,
11:40and we found the solutions for that.
11:45In the design, in principle, we have some dynamic solutions for the trunk.
