00:00God is Omnipresent Yesterday we explored what it means that God
00:06is omnipotent, being all-powerful.
00:09Today we'll look deeper at what it means that God is omnipresent.
00:14When we read the Bible, in Genesis 1, we see that in the beginning God created.
00:20This is the beginning of time as humans know it.
00:23However, there has never been a time when God did not exist, and there will never be
00:28a time when He does not.
00:30This is because God exists outside the human concept of time and space.
00:35He knows no boundaries.
00:37God is present everywhere at all times, making Him omnipresent.
00:42If I go up to heaven, you are there.
00:45If I go down to the grave, you are there.
00:48Psalm 139 verse 8.

00:51Tozer says, The word present, of course, means here, close to, next to, and the prefix omni
00:57gives it universality.
01:00God is everywhere here, close to everything, next to everyone.
01:04Because God is omnipresent, He sees everything you do, hears everything you say, knows everything
01:11you have ever thought, and knows everything you will ever do.
01:15He sees the way you serve Him and love others.
01:18He sees when sin creeps into your life, too.
01:22God never turns His back on you, His child, or stops loving you based on your actions,
01:28as some people do.
01:30You don't ever have to clean yourself up for God.
01:33Through His great grace and mercy, He forgives all your transgressions.
01:38He also sees what's being done to you and cares about what you're going through.
01:43God never leaves you alone and is never out of reach.
01:47God is walking right alongside you, no matter what you are facing.
01:52He brings joy when times feel dark.
01:55He brings hope when things seem hopeless.
01:58He sees everything and knows exactly what your needs are every moment.
02:03You can find strength, courage, and peace in Him, knowing that He is going before you
02:08to work things out for your good.
02:10What a great reason to be thankful!
02:13His omnipresence gives you uninhibited access to the God of the universe.
02:18His presence brings security and comfort.
02:21Father, it's an astonishing truth to understand that you exist outside of my concept of time.
02:28You have seen everything I have ever done and ever will do, and you love me anyway.
02:34Thank you for always being accessible to me through your Spirit because you are always
02:39everywhere.
