00:05and 43 were injured in Lebanon. According to the organization of the 207 health centers
00:10located in the conflict-affected areas, a hundred are currently closed, while stocks
00:14of medicines and medical workers are running low. Also, WHO Regional Director for the Eastern
00:19Mediterranean, Hannan Balki, described the situation in Lebanon as alarming and stressed
00:24that attacks on health facilities prevent several districts from receiving health services
00:28when they are most needed. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, as of October 3rd,
00:33the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah left almost 2,000 dead,
00:37including 127 children and 261 women, and about 9,400 women wounded.
