01:32which is getting inaugurated
01:34today and it gives me
01:36a pleasure to be here

01:40our traditions. We have lately

01:56be celebrated when they have
01:58our persona inside them

02:30So Diwali is here
02:32What does Diwali look like at home?
02:34Twinkle and
02:36what do festive celebrations
02:38what are they like this year?
02:40I think
02:42everyday looks like Diwali because I play cards
02:44regularly with my family
02:46so it's just that the stakes are higher
02:48at this point
02:50and for me I guess
02:52everyday also looks like Diwali
02:54because I visit Palladium Mall everyday
02:56and I shop
02:58everyday almost because it's very tempting
03:00to when I'm around here but it's just the
03:02lovely energy of all
03:04the customers here and
03:06all the lovely things they keep doing at the mall
03:08which is very energizing
03:10That's the Diwali gift I want. I want to have a mall
03:12of my own and just go shopping
03:14while you're here today
03:16while you're here this evening
03:18So what are you
03:20I have no interest in clothes
03:22so apart from clothes
03:24I have different things. I used to come here
03:26to buy crockery
03:28So yeah, I guess that
03:30There are a lot of restaurants
03:32and a lot of exciting
03:34different concepts also
03:36so do visit
03:38again soon
03:40Tell us a little about today
03:42I'm here to celebrate
03:44with Phoenix Palladium
03:46and to look at all the
03:48wonderful things they've collected for Treasures of India
03:50I also want to see what they've
03:52done with Weavers of Dreams
03:54and I'm looking forward to it
03:56Yes, it's really lovely
03:58I think we've come
04:00a long way from the 15 years
04:02that Palladium began to now
04:04and we're all very ready
04:06to embrace our Indian-ness
04:08I think we've explored
04:10we've tried to educate ourselves
04:12with global trends and we do realize
04:14what we have back home is indeed very precious
04:16and Palladium
04:18sort of pays homage to that
04:20with its very traditional
04:22fabulous decor that we've put together
04:24this year
04:26Tell us about this largest candle
04:28Well, it's
04:30a 52-feet tall
04:32lantern
04:34and
04:36I just am happy that I'm not the one
04:38paying the light bill
04:40But
04:42what inspired this theme
04:44outside of
04:46the artisanship you said, being proud of India
04:48Yes
04:50Our 15 years
04:52of being
04:54here in
04:56a pole position in Mumbai
04:58and I think this tallest
05:00lantern just signifies
05:02I think the times to
05:04come for India, the kind of celebration
05:06and the joy we see
05:08in our development
05:10and
05:12and just for everyone to rejoice
05:14and feel happy and think that we have a single
05:16purpose, which is really to progress
05:18in a flourishing democracy
05:20and enjoy
05:22ourselves and our heritage
05:24Any message to people?
05:26I think
05:28similar to what she's saying
05:30it's to actually appreciate
05:32the beauty that we have
05:34in India, in our
05:36artisans, in our crafts
05:38and I look at it everywhere
05:40you see even the new runway collections
05:42they are inspired by India
05:44I was looking at all these new paisley skirts
05:46and it's all come from us
05:48so yeah, I would say that we should
05:50appreciate it a little bit more
05:56I wish that
05:58I guess everyone lives in
06:00harmony and peace and
06:02instead of judging each other, we just
06:04accept each other. I think that would be wonderful
06:06What would you say about Diwali?
06:08Yes, I
06:10second that. I think
06:12let's make it a very
06:14equitous world and
06:16just
06:18be happy in others, happiness in others
06:20progress and let every home
06:22have lights in it, always
06:30I'd like to wish all of you a happy
06:32Diwali and may your life
06:34and your homes be lit up
06:36always
