00:00Yo, yo, what's up, GQ?
00:01It's your boy, Moses the Jeweler,
00:02and today we're gonna be looking at NBA players
00:04and their crazy watches that they like to rock.
00:16LeBron James, a.k.a. King James.
00:19We got him rockin' a RM11 Blue NTPT Carbon.
00:24This is a crazy piece over here.
00:25This is a whole carbon casing.
00:27This is a limited watch.
00:28I believe they made 50 pieces on this.
00:30I do know they made 50 on this red one.
00:32It's just a crazy limited piece.
00:33A watch like this goes for over $400,000.
00:36You either need to be extremely plugged in
00:38with Richard Mille,
00:39or again, you'd have to go to a gray market dealer,
00:42or you could be the all-time leading scorer like LeBron.
00:44We got LeBron over here wearing a Cartier Crash,
00:47but this one's a little different.
00:48This is the skeleton version,
00:49which is probably the rarest one that they came out with,
00:52and this is in 18-karat rose gold.
00:54I mean, this piece is one of my favorites,
00:55and who better than LeBron to sport it?
00:57This one, you can actually see all the open work,
00:59and it's done in a solid 18-karat rose gold,
01:01and this piece is just as unique as possible.
01:03It just looks like a melting clock on his wrist.
01:05What I love what they did over here,
01:06basically, they took the extravagant case,
01:09and they just put a nice, simple black alligator leather band
01:12to really make the head pop.
01:13Whenever you see somebody wearing a watch like that,
01:15you want to look in and be like,
01:16what the heck is that on his wrist?
01:17This is not your usual timepiece,
01:19and what I love over here is that they used blue hands
01:22for the hours and minutes,
01:23and then they also got a blue cabochon sapphire
01:26for the winder on the side of the watch.
01:27It's limited to 67 pieces worldwide,
01:30and of course, LeBron has one.
01:32Anthony Davis.
01:35USA champs over here, baby.
01:36This AP that Anthony Davis is wearing over here
01:39was actually a 25-year anniversary
01:41from the original Royal Oak Offshore
01:43that Audemars Piguet created back in 1993.
01:45So when AP released these back in 2018,
01:47they released two models,
01:48the 18-karat rose gold one that Anthony Davis is wearing,
01:51and they also released the stainless steel version,
01:53which were both numbered to 50 pieces each.
01:55If you're a big name and you got a lot of money,
01:58this is like one of the hottest watches
01:59that everyone's seeking.
02:00The special thing about this piece,
02:01it has a 173-hour power reserve,
02:04and as you can see, it's a skeleton movement,
02:06so you can see whatever's going on inside over there.
02:08AD is making it look cool.
02:10Majama Ram, baby.
02:11He's wearing over here a Cartier Santos large,
02:14just a 40-millimeter,
02:15and of course, my boy went and fully bust down with it.
02:18What I love about the Cartier Santos is like,
02:19it's basically like your own canvas.
02:21If you're a good diamond setter,
02:22you can do a gorgeous job on the diamond setting.
02:24Everything is flat, so the diamonds are just shining
02:26so heavily on there.
02:27I have here a two-tone Cartier Santos.
02:29This is probably the piece that I sold the most in my life.
02:32Cartier Santos iced out.
02:33It's like everyone wants them.
02:34It's that starter piece.
02:36Majama Ram is making it look cool, you know?
02:37I'm selling these bust downs right now
02:38for around like $15,000, $16,000.
02:41The watch plain is around like seven grand right now.
02:43You get so much watch for not a crazy amount of money.
02:45It looks like a $100,000 piece on his wrist.
02:48Luka Doncic.
02:50He's rocking an 18-karat white gold AP.
02:53This is a Royal Oak chronograph.
02:55So as you can see, he has the three chronos
02:56in the center of his watch.
02:58So this would be a non-chrono AP.
02:59So if you look, just a very simple dial
03:01with no chronographs.
03:02I'm selling these for around $32,000.
03:04My chronograph, I have one in stock right now.
03:06I'm selling it for around $38,000.
03:09The Joker, Nikola Jokic.
03:12You know what I love about this?
03:13This guy is like a superstar, MVP, multiple-time MVP,
03:17and he's just rocking just your casual Rolex Batgirl.
03:21And that's what's so cool about Rolex too, you know?
03:22Some people, they wanna rock the expensive,
03:24limited edition pieces,
03:25and then you got a guy of his caliber,
03:27sporting one of the most iconic pieces right now.
03:30The reason they call it a Batgirl
03:31is because of the Jubilee band.
03:32If this had an Oyster band, it would be called a Batman.
03:35The reason they call it a Batman or a Batgirl, of course,
03:37is because of the black and blue bezel.
03:38The bezel colors is what's gonna change
03:40from a Batman to a Pepsi.
03:42Pepsi's gonna have the red and blue.
03:44The root beer has that brownish and black,
03:46and also has the rose gold down the middle, of course.
03:50Rob Dillingham.
03:52Over here, we got Rob Dillingham,
03:54rocking a unique RM.
03:56This is a little different.
03:57This is considered as their extra thin.
03:58This is the RM 6701 in solid 18-karat rose gold.
04:03And again, it's just a sleek look.
04:04It's thinner to the wrist,
04:06and it doesn't have that clunky, big feel
04:08like most RMs do have.
04:09Some people don't like the clunky version of an RM,
04:12so they'll go with the ultra thin, you know?
04:14They'll go for this.
04:15And then some people will say,
04:16I don't want the extra thin.
04:17I wanna have the original RM, big, clunky silhouette
04:21so that everyone can see what's on my wrist.
04:23Most RMs are limited in numbers.
04:25I am not sure if this one is limited.
04:26I don't think it is.
04:28But again, goes over retail, like every RM,
04:32and you'd have to reach out to a second-hand dealer
04:34to get this piece.
04:36Tyrese Halliburton.
04:38Tyrese Halliburton over here.
04:40This is a classic timepiece.
04:41Day-Date 40, reference 228238.
04:44I got mine over here.
04:45It's the same one that he's wearing.
04:46You have the silver Roman dial
04:48on an 18-karat yellow gold presidential.
04:51If you're a watch connoisseur and a watch collector,
04:53you must have this in your collection.
04:54This is what the US presidents used to wear
04:56back in the 70s and 80s.
04:57This is like one of the most iconic watches of all time.
04:59This is like what screams Rolex.
05:01The presidential band, the fluted bezel,
05:03that iconic gold look, that solid look.
05:05This is a Day-Date 40.
05:06They used to make the Day-Date 41,
05:08which they discontinued back in 2016.
05:10And then, of course, they have the Day-Date 36.
05:12And you could also get these in lady sizes, too,
05:14the 26 and 31 millimeter also.
05:16If I'm buying a used one, I wanna be around 30 grand.
05:18For a new one, I would love to stock it around 35.
05:22And if I'm winning, you know,
05:23I'm hitting a little mazal salita on you,
05:24you know what I'm saying?
05:25Here's the Day-Date that Halliburton was wearing.
05:28And then this is the factory green Day-Date,
05:31which is one of the hottest dials out right now.
05:33And the difference between these two is around 20,000
05:36just because of the dial.
05:37So this is another Cartier crash
05:38that Tyrese Halliburton's wearing.
05:40And this is a little different
05:41than the one that LeBron was wearing.
05:42This one has the white dial.
05:44So instead of having the skeleton movement,
05:46you have the white dial covering the movement.
05:48It's a Cartier crash.
05:49It's like the most iconic piece of all time.
05:51I like that he put the red band on that.
05:53That's sporty, that's fun.
05:54It's always cool.
05:55You spend a lot of money on these watches
05:56and you're able to interchange the bands
05:57and you feel like you have multiple different watches
05:59in one.
05:59I remember this became extremely hot once Kanye wore this.
06:02Kanye rocked this piece back in like 2013.
06:04And after that, it just shot up
06:06and it's still one of the most demanded watches today.
06:09Giannis Antetokounmpo.
06:11Over here, we got Giannis wearing a Breitling Navitimer
06:14B01 green chrono.
06:16This comes in a 43 millimeter case back.
06:18That green pops on the black sub-dials
06:21and the black leather strap.
06:23You got that white stitching on the leather strap,
06:24which I really like too.
06:25It's a fun piece if you just want to stay calm
06:27and you want just a little bit of pop
06:29from the color of the dial.
06:30And if you're a Breitling fan,
06:31I'm pretty sure you're happy to see somebody
06:33like Giannis rocking a piece like this.
06:35Stephen Curry.
06:36Stephen Curry over here is rocking a very cool piece.
06:39This is also your Cartier Santos in the 40 millimeter.
06:42The difference here is that the case was,
06:45went through a DLC process,
06:47basically gave it a black PVD.
06:48So it's blackened on the case
06:50and then he got the black leather strap on it.
06:52This is an extremely humble and chill piece
06:53that Steph Curry's rocking.
06:54Casual, everyday, sharpshooter.
06:57Steph is rocking it right.
06:58I've had this in stock before.
06:59I sold it for cheap for around like 6,500.
07:01You should be able to get these retail at Cartier too.
07:03I believe you could get a little discount from a dealer.
07:06Jimmy Butler.
07:07We got a Jimmy Butler over here
07:09rocking the 5980 rose gold.
07:11They call this the godfather of all watches.
07:13It's the thicker case as opposed to the 5711 Nautilus.
07:16Patek Philippe is obviously known
07:18as one of the best at what they do.
07:20Jimmy got a crazy collection
07:21and I'm not surprised he has this in his collection.
07:23This watch, also the 5980, is discontinued.
07:26You call a dealer and you better be ready to wire
07:28between 200 and $250,000.
07:30And at the height of COVID,
07:31they were going for like over 400.
07:33It's an expensive time piece.
07:35Victor Wembanyama.
07:37Over here, we got him wearing a Cartier skeleton.
07:39Basically compared to all the Santos' we spoke about,
07:42this is the same silhouette, 40 millimeter, large.
07:45The only difference here
07:46is that you have that skeleton opening.
07:48Our generation really fell in love with this.
07:50They want to look deep into the watch, as we say.
07:52We want to see all the mechanics.
07:53We want to see how it's working.
07:54The difference between this and your regular white dial,
07:57you're looking at around like a $25,000 difference.
07:59It's only going to cost you around 30 grand,
08:00but you can see why it's a gorgeous piece.
08:03Paul George.
08:04Paul George over here, he's rocking a Day-Date 40.
08:07The difference between the last ones that we saw
08:10is this one has the factory diamond bezel.
08:11And a factory diamond dial.
08:13Again, we got the classic silhouette
08:14of the Rolex Presidential.
08:16All 18 karat solid yellow gold.
08:18It's the most meticulous and highest quality gem setting.
08:21And the most meticulous, highest quality diamonds
08:22that you could see.
08:23And those Baguette Hour markers are so gorgeous.
08:26When it comes from Rolex, when it's Rolex diamonds,
08:28people want to know if they have their warranty
08:30with Rolex still.
08:31With Rolex, you get a five year warranty
08:32from the date of purchase on your Rolex paperwork.
08:35SGA.
08:36Shai Gilgis Alexander.
08:38He's rocking a AP 41 millimeter two-tone.
08:41This is a 15400 SR.
08:43I love that two-tone.
08:44You know, rose and white became such a hot thing
08:46in the last like 10 years.
08:47It's that classic silhouette,
08:49that classic AP Royal Oak silhouette.
08:50Again, you're not going to see too many people rock it.
08:53The GOAT Michael Jordan.
08:55Michael Jordan's been famously known
08:56for having a crazy watch collection
08:58that he's been rocking throughout his basketball career
09:00and rocking up until today.
09:02And he's continuously adding crazy pieces
09:04to his own collection.
09:05And of course the GOAT has to wear
09:07one of the rarest pieces of all time.
09:09He's wearing a 6263 Rolex Daytona.
09:12One of the rarest.
09:13And this is the Daytona that made all Daytonas hot.
09:15Anything Daytona is going for over retail.
09:18It's the best sports model Rolex makes.
09:20Over here, we got a Michael Jordan
09:22wearing a Paul Newman reference 6241.
09:25When I'm looking deep into it,
09:26it seems like he has this like sapphire crystal type of band,
09:29which seems like it would have to have been custom made.
09:31It's pretty crazy to do that on such an original piece
09:34like the Paul Newman, that vintage Daytona.
09:36I never heard of this being custom done,
09:38but comment down below what you know about this.
09:40I don't know too much what I'm looking at right now.
09:42This is a blue Sky-Dweller.
09:44Everyone wants that blue face or the green face.
09:46It's cool to see MJ go from some of these crazy,
09:48expensive timepieces to rocking something,
09:51you know, something that everyday casual wear.
09:53The Sky-Dweller is a bigger case
09:55and the Sky-Dweller is one of the only Rolexes
09:57that you actually spin the bezel on
09:59and you'll have different functionalities.
10:01And I believe there's only nine watchmakers at Rolex
10:03that can make this piece.
10:04Hey OGQ, it's your boy Moses.
10:06I'm out.
10:07Always remember, rock what you like.
