00:04At a university in Batangas, VR is also used for the training of students.

00:16Virtual reality, but it's not for entertainment or games.

00:20Instead, it's for the training of hospitality students of a university in Batangas.

00:26The VR Playroom, which was tried by a third-year college student, Carlos de los Reyes.

00:58We need to have communication and interpersonal skills as employees or as aspiring workers in the tourism and hospitality field.

01:08We can collaborate in terms of innovation and technology in the field of training.

01:13Once they put on the headset, they are instantly transported into virtual and simulation hotel and restaurant environment.

01:26Through VR, students will be able to have a proper conversation with the guests.

01:33Arranging hotel rooms and items in the housekeeping section.

01:38It is also important for the students to learn what to do if there is a fire.

01:45For example, in the kitchen, they can repeat how to put out the fire.

01:50They just put on their VR headset.

01:53This is the VR Playroom.

01:55Here, you can see the students who are trying different modules of the hospitality industry.

02:07Aside from that, there are also many computers here.

02:09Through these computers, students can cast what they see in their headsets towards this computer.

02:22It is a big thing for us to practice here.

02:25Metaverse will be big in the future.

02:27Even though here in the tourism and hospitality, we are skill-based.

02:31But we want to give the students this different type of learning.
