00:00You're coming with all the hard questions here, like...
00:02We got paid to say that.
00:04Hello, I'm called Jordan and I sing in Neon Waltz.
00:08What's the crack? We're at...
00:09Esmeralda Road!
00:11What's the crack? We're at Esmeralda Road!
00:12We're from a place called Jonagroats in Caithness, which is very north of Scotland.
00:20We've been a band for about 10 years now.
00:24Yeah, we just played in St Luke's here.
00:26It was our first time playing Glasgow.
00:28It was electric, I'd say.
00:30It was an awesome venue.
00:32We heard so much about Scottish crowds and we were buzzing to get stuck into one
00:38and they didn't disappoint at all, they were amazing.
00:40It was just so much fun.
00:42At one point we thought we were going to be really big
00:45and then we got dropped and now we're going to be really big again.
00:50And what's your favourite thing about Glasgow?
00:52Square Sausage.
00:55We got paid to say that.
00:57We're playing in St Luke's, which is right here.
01:01We've played it twice before as a headline show
01:09and they were both amazing, so I'm sure this will be amazing.
01:13It's Lorne's sausage actually.
01:16My favourite thing about Glasgow is it's very similar to Belfast but it's like...
01:20More fun?
01:20Yeah.
01:22It's just a lot of different people in it, it's very diverse,
01:24there's a lot of different cultures going on and it's cool to get...
01:27Just the fact that gig felt amazing as well.
01:29Yeah, that was good also.
01:31My favourite thing about Glasgow is the people.
01:33Yeah, the people are awesome.
01:34People make Glasgow.
01:35That's what they say.
01:36Beautiful songs, I would say.
01:38Loud, ballsy, beautiful.
01:41Our music is a load of s***.
01:44It's like indie fusion with jazz and a lot of post-punk,
01:49a lot of dance music in there as well.
01:51Drum and bass, garage-y stuff, house.
01:54House.
01:55House.
01:57Yeah, just a big mixing part of all the s*** we grew up listening to basically.
02:01It's like the music chose me.
02:04You know what I mean?
02:05I didn't really choose music.
02:08My family is very musical as well, so it was always going to be a thing for me.
02:16Describe the venue you just played in.
02:20Ethereal, I'd say.
02:21You had to do some Hail Marys.
02:22We're going to have to go over that word after.
02:25Yeah, I'll fill you in.
02:26Yeah, it was nice.
02:27Lovely big high ceilings.
02:28It felt very comfortable.
02:30It was a very comfortable stage.
02:31It was great.
02:32The sound was awesome.
02:33It was epic.
