00:00The thrills and spills of Ice Skate Birmingham in Centenary Square, 2023.

00:06But let's go and meet the man who's rebuilding it for 2024.

00:10A.B. Danter from Danter Attractions.

00:12It will run from Friday, November the 1st until Sunday, January the 5th, 2025.

00:19The location, Centenary Square, is probably the best in Europe, maybe the world.

00:23It's fantastic and you've only got to look round the location.

00:27We've got the buses, the trams, the new street, the more streetless Birmingham, central in the country.

00:33Great place to visit anyway, just to come round and have a look.

00:37Even though we're here, come and see us, definitely.

00:39But it's just a great place to come to. Brummies are friendly, you know.

00:44So why not come?

00:46Well on with the build.

00:48We should have the roof on sometime this afternoon.

00:52Hopefully the ice will start to go in next week, but it's all on schedule so far.

00:57We're looking forward to another Christmas in Birmingham.

01:00We've got the wheel coming back, the star flyer and the air ride.

01:03They'll be coming in towards the end of next week.

01:06It's a big undertaking to do this, you know, and do it so the outcome is perfect for when the public get here.

01:13We've got to soak in these last couple of days.

01:15It's absolutely poured down, the first two days that we came on here.

01:20I think we came on here Tuesday afternoon, I think it was on Wednesday.

01:23We've just got complete soaking.

01:25But today there's not a cloud in the sky, it's beautiful.

01:27So, you know, hopefully the weather's kind to us.
