A 32-year-old woman has been charged over the death of a man, South of Brisbane

The 72-year-old was found unresponsive at a home in browns plains around midday, yesterday.

00:00Some of these details are still unfolding, it is very much a developing story but what

00:06we do know so far is that a 32-year-old woman has now been charged with one count of murder

00:12in relation to a domestic violence offence.

00:14Now this all unfolded yesterday afternoon at around midday, emergency services were

00:19called out to a property in Browns Plains, that's about half an hour south of Brisbane

00:24CBD and when they arrived at the basic court address, that's where they discovered a 72-year-old

00:29man who was unconscious and not breathing.

00:32Now he was later declared dead at the scene and that's when detectives remained at the

00:36scene interviewing neighbours as well as scouring and collecting CCTV footage.

00:42Now they took into custody a 32-year-old woman who was present at the address, it's understood

00:47that the pair were known to each other, she was questioned and held in custody overnight

00:51and has since been charged with that one count of murder as I mentioned.
