00:00Right now, I'm still a football player, right?
00:02I still love coming into work and getting after it
00:06and chasing championships.
00:08It's what I've always dreamt of doing.
00:11And right now, it feels like I'm in the heart of it.
00:13I'm in the thick of it.
00:14So I'm a football player at first,
00:16but in the off seasons, I do like to dabble around
00:19and kind of go in and out,
00:22see how cool the, how hot or cold the pool is
00:26by dipping my toes in and just, you know, see what I like.
00:28See if, you know, acting is something
00:30that I feel comfortable doing.
00:32If being a host of a TV show or just being on screen.
00:37And, you know, I had a whole lot of fun
00:39doing SNL a few years ago.
00:41And I think that kind of catapulted me
00:44into where I am right now in the off season.
00:46But yeah, I think all of that,
00:48you'll see me continue to, I don't know,
00:50find my lane for sure.
00:52I mean, I'm a quarterback at heart.
00:53I can't throw the ball anymore,
00:55but I think it all started me loving to play quarterback
01:00because I had the ball in my hands every single play.
01:02And I just, over the course of my career,
01:05I've found that tight end just kind of suits my athleticism
01:08and my mentality a little bit better.
01:11I'm not a guy that likes to live by a lot of rules
01:14or have a lot of parameters
01:16and the quarterback room, you need that.
01:19And that's something that, you know, you have to have.
01:21And even though I've learned to find those parameters
01:25and play within schemes and play within the rules
01:27and everything of the offense,
01:29I think that the tight end room just suits me better.
01:32And I can help a team out way more at tight end
01:34than I can quarterback.
01:35I'm a huge game show fan myself.
01:39Me and my brother grew up watching Game Show Network
01:41and just picking it out on the couch
01:43all throughout our childhood
01:45and through high school and college and stuff.
01:46So there was that.
01:48And then Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader,
01:50which was such a great show.
01:52I mean, we enjoyed it so much
01:53that when the opportunity came up to kind of, you know,
01:56throw a new twist on it and really in my mind,
01:59kind of revamp it and bring some adults and celebrities
02:03and familiar faces and get them involved
02:06and see how they answer
02:07some of these elementary school questions.
02:09And I think it was just all of that combined
02:12really made it fun.
02:13The hardest part for me was, you know,
02:16you gotta make sure that everybody understands
02:18where they're at in the game,
02:19how they're, you know, the rules and everything.
02:23And for me to be the one making sure they knew that,
02:26I had to really grasp,
02:28kind of being repetitive in a sense, right?
02:30And making sure that everybody knew
02:32what was going on in the game.
02:33So just taking control of the atmosphere
02:36was probably the biggest challenge.
02:37I'm actually terrified of watching myself
02:39in situations like this, yeah.
02:42But I'll make sure I turn it on and see how well I did.
02:45Just to critique myself, I'm my own worst critic.
02:48So I can only see the bad that I do in anything,
02:51even on the football field.
