Nick Kyrgios avait annoncé une bonne et une mauvaise nouvelle dans un live diffusé sur son compte Instagram début octobre. Il se sentait prêt à rejouer en Australie en janvier prochain. Dans un entretien à News Corp's Code Sports podcast, le natif de Canberra a confirmé son retour début 2025 chez lui. Ambitieux, celui qui n'a plus de classement ATP a même évoqué son souhait de remporter un titre du Grand Chelem, "la seule chose qui pourrait faire taire beaucoup de gens". En sera-t-il vraiment capable ? Le finaliste de Wimbledon 2022 y croit. Son retour est en tout cas une bonne nouvelle pour le tennis.
