00:00better way to start. Where should we start the first game of the day right over in good old
00:03London? You got Jaguars versus the Chicago Bears and what a day it was for the Bears. We saw a lot
00:08of emotion, energy, excitement, all the things. Caleb Williams just showing how excited he was
00:14to pull off a 35 to 16 victory. Yes, they were playing the Jaguars, we get it, but still they
00:19felt like they checked a lot of boxes that they have just been trying to figure out and solve
00:23throughout this season thus far. So Tom, what did you like and see in this 35 to 16 victory for
00:28the Bears? Oh, this game is something that we spoke about on Monday and Thursday and I said
00:34I really like the Bears and I like Caleb Williams and, you know, we kind of have like this arc of
00:41Caleb Williams that we spoke about since week one, right? We've been talking about Caleb Williams
00:45week in and week out, but the recaps, the previews, and what have we said the entire time?
00:50It's one game, it's one half, he didn't look great. Okay, he's looking a little bit better.
00:54Oh, he's actually, he put together a good game. It's like, now we actually saw it in full effect.
00:5823 of 29, 226, very efficient, four touchdowns. Now granted, he got some short fields, there were
01:04turnovers from the Jaguars, but he made the most of it and he is like living, starting to live up,
01:10I'm not going to say to like the number one overall pick, you know, future Hall of Famer
01:14kind of thing, but like he's having this progression as a rookie, which is awesome to see.
01:18And everyone that was like selling out on him in the first few weeks, because he was off to
01:22his awful start way too early. We can't jump to conclusions and Caleb Williams is getting the
01:28offense moving. DeAndre Swift is getting the offense moving on the ground. We're seeing good
01:32contributions from Cole Komet with two touchdowns, not only did he catch the two touchdowns, he then
01:36had to be the long snapper because their long snapper got hurt. So great stuff from the Bears
01:41overall. It is only going to go up for Caleb Williams. Not every game is going to be amazing,
01:46still going to have some, you know, some faults here or there, but this is very, very encouraging
01:51that they're getting the offense to work for him. He can't do everything by himself. We talked about
01:55the offensive line being bad at the beginning of the season. These things are changing. It is all
02:00upward for the Bears. Yeah. I think the biggest takeaway that I had from what you just touched
02:06on and what I saw this morning is the Bears ability to just adjust. And even though they,
02:11they are counted out in a number of ways. And even though the bar is probably sitting not as
02:15high as we would love for Caleb Williams, only because of what his surrounding cast is doing.
02:19Also, their adjustments, their progression, as you put it, has been quite tremendous.
