00:02President Bongbong Marcos accepted the appointment of Delberto Leonardo as Commissioner of the National Police Commission.

00:09Based on the document issued by the Presidential Communications Office,

00:13Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin wrote to DILG Secretary John Vic Rimula on October 8 to inform him that the President has accepted Leonardo's appointment.

00:23Effective immediately.

00:25On October 4, Leonardo was appointed as NAPOLCOM Chief two days after the House-Quadcom hearing where he was accused of killing former PCSO Board Secretary Wesley Barayuga in 2020.

00:38Leonardo denied that he was involved in the killing of Barayuga.

00:55In a statement, Bersamin said that the President has accepted the appointment of Delberto Leonardo as Commissioner of the National Police Commission.
