00:22Tuesday Robert Sala was fired as head coach after the Jets started the season
00:28two and three they had high hope had not translated to good play on the
00:31football field and they said get out of here Robert Sala but Mojo wasn't the
00:35only change that was made because we also know that Nathaniel Hackett who was
00:41for many years Aaron Rodgers offensive coordinator with the Green Bay Packers
00:47somebody who has a close relationship with the four-time NFL MVP he also he
00:54was not fired but he was stripped of his play-calling duties Mojo we now know
00:59that Todd Downing who was the quarterback coach and once passed was
01:05the Titans offensive coordinator he will now be calling plays so the question is
01:09how does Aaron Rodgers feel about his buddy having the play-calling duty
01:14strip you feel the change was necessary oh I don't think it's that's not some
01:22for me to have an opinion on you know it was Brick's decision and I told him I'd
01:26back him up whatever he decided how is you should ask him I love him Daniel
01:39man he's one of my dearest friends in the league and obviously a tough
01:43situation but I think it speaks volume to the character that he has and he
01:46wanted to stick around be here for me be here for Todd support Todd so it's
01:52credit to the man that he is Mojo I don't know if you agree with me on this
01:55but the way I feel about it is that since Aaron Rodgers got to town he has
01:59been running the New York Jets period and this is a change that does not get
02:04made in my opinion here I know nothing my opinion this change does not get made
02:09without Aaron Rodgers blessing if Aaron Rodgers says I want Hackett calling the
02:13plays Nathaniel Hackett is calling the plays Hackett is not calling the plays
02:18and therefore the way I see this Aaron's okay with it I think he has to be okay
02:22with the Babcock first of all I love when he said why don't you ask Hackett
02:26and they're like we can't got a big got a big pop from Aaron on that one that
02:31was that was my favorite part of that clip I think the answers to all the
02:35questions that we've been asking for a week are in that response right I mean
02:39compare what he said about Hackett to what he said about Solly pretty much
02:44said Oh back them up with whatever decision that they choose to make I mean
02:48that says to me that he was totally on board with that decision whereas he went
02:53on a whole monologue about how much he loves Hackett and all this and that but
02:57I mean from behind closed doors you got to take a look at the situation right
03:01Sala was a defensive coach the Jets have the number two ranked defense in the
03:06NFL as compared to what like the number 21 ranked offense so I mean the offense
03:12has been a problem Aaron Rodgers was brought in to fix the
03:16offense he was really the most missing piece in that offense and the offense
03:22has done terribly so if you fire the head coach I mean obviously there was a
03:27pretty pretty big uproar online not necessarily a lot of people saying that
03:32with the record that Sala has that he should have stayed head coach but more
03:37so this is an offensive issue the offense is the thing that needs to be
03:42addressed here so I gotta think that Aaron's hands were tied somewhat yes he
03:47might be making all the decisions there but he's gotta give him something so if
03:52he's you know allocating his chips maybe we keep Hackett on the team maybe he has
03:57to give up his play calling for now until the stink goes away and we can
04:02figure out a way to right the ship but yeah look at the difference between
04:05those two responses for those two coaches I feel like that gives you
04:08everything you need to know could not agree more I am so curious to see what
04:13the Jets offense is gonna look like Monday night remember that's a massive
04:17game Monday night football New York Jets Buffalo Bills first place in the AFC
04:23East on the line and probably a lot of coaches and maybe some players jobs as
04:28well
