00:06Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the top moments of the Big Bang Theory actors uncontrollably smiling or laughing on set.
00:16One plays the lightning, the other plays the moon.
00:22Oh my God!
00:26Number 20, flower girl substitution.
00:29Amy and Sheldon have a formula for figuring out their wedding
00:32so that both of their ideas are fairly incorporated.
00:36You know, this is really fun.
00:37I can't believe that people say that planning a wedding
00:39is one of the most stressful things in life.
00:41I know, not a day goes by that I don't marvel
00:44how much better we are than other people.
00:47It starts well, but to no surprise,
00:49it turns into a disagreement fest.
00:51Amy frustratedly mentions potentially changing the flower girl
00:55to something less conventional.
00:57Vows and Klingon.
01:00Then I'm changing the flower girl to a dog.
01:04And guess what he'll be scattering instead of petals.
01:07Shooting the scene, Jim Parsons couldn't help but crack a smile
01:11after Mayim Bialik delivered the second part
01:13about the lack of flowers and presence of something less pleasant.
01:17The line is super funny within the context of the wedding planning scene.
01:21So we can see why Parsons couldn't resist smiling.
01:24And guess what he'll be scattering instead of petals.
01:34Number 19.
01:35Leonard's briefcase comment.
01:37By the time Penny tells Leonard that her brother is coming to town
01:40during season 10, he already knows about his illegal drug activities.
01:44Hey, can you hold off redoing that room?
01:46My brother's coming out here in a few weeks.
01:48Oh, yeah, okay, sure.
01:49What's going on with your brother?
01:50My dad asked if I can get him a job interview at my work.
01:53Naturally, he's not happy about her brother staying with them.
01:56Penny tries to help get her brother a job in the area.
01:58When she brings up the idea of him potentially working
02:01at the same pharmaceutical company as her,
02:03Leonard has a funny and creative response.
02:06Well, I'm sure he'll appreciate carrying his samples
02:08in a briefcase instead of his colon.
02:11Kaley Cuoco visibly tried not to laugh after Johnny Galecki delivered the line,
02:16but her smile eventually turned into laughter after all.
02:19Carrying his samples in a briefcase instead of his colon.
02:34Number 18, I think it's nice.
02:36Sheldon provides abundant opportunities to get roasted throughout the Big Bang Theory.
02:41Well, I think it's very nice that you're helping out our friend.
02:45I think it's nice that you're taking whatever medication Amy is clearly giving you.
02:49In many cases, it's for his quirkiness or unconventional behavior.
02:53During one particular stairway scene in Season 10,
02:57he says something that exhibits kindness and social awareness,
03:00the latter of which especially often escapes him.
03:03What is that supposed to mean?
03:05Well, it's like that science thing.
03:07For every action, you have a gigantic and annoying reaction.
03:12Just when I thought you couldn't get any hotter.
03:15Perhaps this comment doesn't warrant a snarky response,
03:18but that's what Leonard gives.
03:20After Leonard takes the shot at Sheldon, you can see Kaley Cuoco smiling
03:25and even starting to chuckle while walking up the stairs.
03:28When it was time to say her line, it quickly became evident they'd need a retake.
03:35And what is that supposed to mean?
03:37It's, it's like...
03:44Number 17, Scavenger Hunt with Romeo.
03:47If you're on Bernadette's team for a scavenger hunt,
03:50you better be locked in.
03:51All she wants to do is win.
03:53Sorry you got stuck with me.
03:54I bet you wanted to be with Bernadette.
03:57Have you ever played a game with Bernadette?
03:58No.
03:59Have you ever gone into a steel cage with a wolverine?
04:02She shows that competitive edge during a Season 7 episode,
04:06in which she finds herself teamed up with Leonard for a scavenger hunt.
04:10Things get a little rocky for Penny and Leonard when the teams are decided.
04:13Yeah, you don't think I'm smart enough.
04:15You think I'm gonna be a liability.
04:17Even though I totally just used the word liability correctly in a sentence.
04:25Later, Leonard tries to bury the hatchet with Penny during the game,
04:28but Bernadette isn't having it.
04:30Not the time and not the place.
04:32This scene, which takes place at the comic book store, took several efforts to get right.
04:37Melissa Rauch and Johnny Galecki found the situation humorous,
04:41as Rauch repeatedly shouted her line and shoved her co-star.
04:45Hey, Romeo, repair your relationship on your own time.
04:52Oh, in the face.
04:55Number 16.
04:57Raj's baby's comment.
04:58When Sheldon and Leonard find themselves at a crossroads with their work in physics,
05:02Leonard voices his disappointment and frustration to Penny.
05:06It's worse than that.
05:07It hasn't found anything in years, so we don't know if we're right.
05:10We don't know if we're wrong.
05:11We don't know where to go next.
05:13All I know is it looks like a tongue-kissed avatar.
05:17So Penny suggests Raj and Howard cheer up Leonard and Sheldon.
05:21Raj is not in the mood for their negativity and what he describes as whiny, baby-like behavior.
05:27Physics is exactly like Lost.
05:29Started out great and turns out just a big old waste of time.
05:34You know what you sound like?
05:35Babies.
05:36Two whiny babies.
05:38An outtake from this season 11 scene showed Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons laughing.
05:43While Raj actually executed the line well,
05:46it certainly provided a reason for the actors to laugh.
05:49Well, boo-hoo.
05:52Okay, you know what you sound like?
05:54Babies.
05:55Two whiny babies.
05:59Howard's presence during the scene is also worth noting,
06:02because at this point he's an expectant father, visibly overwhelmed by impending fatherhood.
06:07Raj's words certainly don't help put him at ease.
06:11Number 15.
06:12What other option was there?
06:14Sheldon's idea of consoling someone isn't quite up to par.
06:18What are you doing?
06:19I'm googling what to do when someone's freaking out.
06:24Oh, it says here that a walk can be calming.
06:28Bye.
06:30In a season 12 episode, Amy could use some emotional support from her husband.
06:34During a conversation with Penny and Leonard, Sheldon claims to have given it to her.
06:39But that doesn't sound like consoling.
06:41Penny's ensuing line is seemingly sarcastic,
06:44poking fun at the lack of effort Sheldon gave to brighten up his wife's day.
06:48What exactly does that mean?
06:51I took a walk.
06:52I came back.
06:53She was still upset, so I came here.
06:57Well, I don't see what else you could have done.
07:00Jim Parsons giggled after Kaley Cuoco said this line.
07:04Cuoco joined in on the laughing as well.
07:06This dialogue was a great piece of scriptwriting,
07:08and Cuoco's execution brought it to life with flying colors.
07:12Well, I don't see what else you could have done.
07:18Number 14.
07:19Watching TV without Leonard.
07:21When a couple is watching a series together, there may come a time where one person feels
07:25tempted to watch an episode without their significant other.
07:28Depending on the situation, that could cause an issue.
07:31We had started binge-watching Luke Cage together, and he was kind of our thing.
07:36And then I find out that she watched two episodes without me.
07:41It's like I was excited for a present and got socks.
07:45Penny watches not just one, but two episodes without Leonard.
07:49He isn't thrilled about it, describing his fight with Penny to their friends.
07:53This produced a funny blooper in which the live audience reacted to Leonard's line.
07:57She watched two episodes without me.
08:02This caused Cuoco, Parsons, and Bialik to smile and eventually break.
08:13Shooting another scene in season 10, an eww sound from the live audience made Penny laugh.
08:22I'm sorry, she said eww!
08:24But we're choosing the instance where more than just Cuoco laughed.
08:35Number 13.
08:36The big leagues.
08:37Stuart and Raj fight over Bernadette's co-worker, Rushi, during season 11.
08:42He seemed fun.
08:44Oh yeah, he is.
08:44I love him dearly.
08:46Not to say that I don't worry about him.
08:49What's to worry about?
08:51You know what?
08:53I'm talking out of school.
08:54Raj goes behind Stuart's back and isn't totally truthful when Stuart runs into him and Rushi.
08:59At one particular moment during the episode, Stuart's line about the big leagues of desperation
09:05produced a hilarious blooper.
09:06Kevin Sussman, who plays Stuart, delivered these words with great intensity and an irritated tone.
09:13You want to play a game of who's more desperate with me?
09:16Because you're in the big leagues now, bucko!
09:18The humor of the line itself, along with Sussman's execution of it,
09:22caused Kunal Nayyar to crack up.
09:24What actually made the final cut for the episode was a calmer delivery of the line,
09:28which is also funny, but arguably not as funny as the blooper.
09:32You want to play a game of who's more desperate with me?
09:37Because you're in the big leagues now, bucko!
09:40Number 12.
09:42Howard's baby car seat mishap.
09:44Bernadette gives birth to Hallie in season 10.
09:47She's here! The baby's here!
09:48Congratulations!
09:50How's Bernadette?
09:52Tired, but great. They're both great.
09:54Does the baby have a name yet?
09:56We have named her Hallie.
09:58That same season, Howard brings his and Bernadette's baby up to Leonard and Penny's apartment.
10:03A laughter-filled blooper came out of this scene.
10:06The baby is asleep, so Howard asks if he can put her in the bedroom.
10:09Penny gives the okay.
10:11The baby's asleep. Can we put her in your room?
10:12Yeah, go ahead.
10:13Do you need help?
10:14No, I'm good.
10:15Doubtfire! Poppins! Follow me!
10:17The blooper came after this, as Simon Helberg tried to maneuver between a couple of chairs
10:22with the baby car seat in his hand.
10:24It didn't go as smoothly as he hoped.
10:26The rest of the actors in the room laughed.
10:28The fact that the mishap occurred right after Amy offered help made it all the funnier.
10:33Do you need help?
10:34No, I got it.
10:35Ooh.
10:4611. Sheldon Snoring
10:49There's snoring, and then there's whatever that noise Sheldon makes while sleeping.
11:02Even Jim Parsons recognized just how silly he
11:05sounded while shooting this bed scene with Mayim Bialik.
11:09After a few funny-sounding snores and body movements,
11:12Parsons couldn't control himself from laughing.
11:15This happened more than just once.
11:17He apologized and showed his frustration for not being able to keep himself together.
11:29Ah.
11:33At the same time, you could tell he was having a good time despite his several failed attempts.
11:38Unsurprisingly, what ultimately made the final cut for this scene was also quite funny.
11:45Ah.
11:5110. Camera in Comic Book Store
11:55In Season 9, Stewart invites the girls over to the comic book store to get their advice
12:00on how to bring more women through the door.
12:02How can we help?
12:03Well, I know more women are buying comics than ever, but for some reason I can't get them in here.
12:09All right, well, what have you tried so far?
12:11When asked what he's done so far, he mentions the, quote,
12:15breastfeeding area, and tries to allay their concerns by
12:19telling them about the camera he had installed above them.
12:22Really? In a comic book store?
12:24Oh, don't worry, I've got a camera right up here so I could
12:28watch from the counter, make sure guys aren't being pervs.
12:32In the episode that aired, this last comment creeps the girls out.
12:36However, in a great blooper, actor Kevin Sussman, who plays Stewart,
12:41can't quite make it through his speech,
12:43which ends up cracking up the rest of the cast in the scene as well.
12:48Anyway.
12:559. Will Wheaton Plays With Himself
12:58Former star of Star Trek The Next Generation, and the only guy I know
13:03lucky enough to be immortalized in 1 16th scale, set phasers to fun.
13:08Okay, so we have to admit that Sheldon handing Will Wheaton a Wesley Crusher action figure,
13:14and telling him to feel free to play with yourself?
13:18Now, that's a great line.
13:19Can I speak to you for a second?
13:21I'll be right back.
13:23Feel free to play with yourself.
13:26It still makes us laugh every time we watch that episode,
13:29and it turns out Mayim Bialik liked it also.
13:33So much so, in fact, that the actress just couldn't stay in character
13:37when it was her time to speak next.
13:39She was supposed to be angry, which we see in the aired episode,
13:43but in the blooper, she couldn't even get started.
13:46I'll be right back.
13:48Feel free to play with yourself.
13:598. Penny's Feet
14:02Depending on your POV, feet can be sexy or gross,
14:06but not many people find them funny.
14:08Well, he pointed out that he kind of sort of had to put up with you.
14:13You kind of sort of had to?
14:14I didn't agree with him.
14:15Well, you defended me, right?
14:16I tried.
14:18However, watching Kaley Cuoco go to town on her feet in this season 4 scene
14:24was too much for Simon Helberg to handle.
14:26As we saw in the scene that made it to air,
14:29Howard is supposed to admonish Penny for scrubbing her feet wrong,
14:33and then take over and show her how it's done.
14:36I do this for my mom all the time.
14:41See?
14:42With the grain.
14:45Wow, that is better.
14:46But in this take that ended up on the blooper reel,
14:49Helberg, although he tries to hang in there,
14:52can't help but break as Penny scrubs and scrubs and scrubs away.
14:56You can try, buddy.
15:09Number 7.
15:10Indian Jones
15:12In season 6, Raj had the very funny idea of dressing up as
15:17Indiana Jones' mocha-skinned love child, Indian Jones, for Halloween.
15:22I was thinking of dressing up as Indiana Jones' mocha-skinned love child,
15:29Indian Jones.
15:33Clever.
15:34The problem is that Jim Parsons and Simon Helberg
15:37thought it was a really funny idea also.
15:40This was a problem because every time Kunal Nayyar would try and get his lines out,
15:46those other two would keep cracking up.
15:49I was thinking of dressing up as Indiana Jones.
15:56If that wasn't bad enough,
15:57once Parsons and Helberg were able to hold it together and keep a straight face,
16:02Nayyar just couldn't get the line out properly for take after take after take after...
16:08Oh, by the way, can I borrow your bull weapon fedora?
16:13Dude, keep it together.
16:16Oh, by the way, can I borrow your bull weapon fedora?
16:19Oh, by the way, can I borrow your bull weapon fedora?
16:21Number 6. Howard and Raj get close
16:25One of the things that makes this scene so funny is how Helberg and Nayyar hold
16:30their positions with their faces just a couple of inches from each other.
16:34This is where he goes? What's in there?
16:37I think it's an old storage room.
16:39What could he be doing in there every day for 20 minutes?
16:42If you're wondering how they managed to do it without laughing,
16:46well, the answer is, they didn't. At least, not on the first take.
16:50What are you doing? I'm listening.
16:54Can't you face the other way and listen? I can't do anything right for you, can I?
16:59We're not sure how many takes they did, but we do know that at least one of them led to this
17:04great blooper in which they hold, hold, and hold, but eventually Nayyar cracks a smile.
17:11Helberg manages to hang on a bit longer, but not by much.
17:16Number 5. Mike DeGrasse Tyson
17:32In the season 9 episode, The Fermentation Bifurcation, the gang runs into Penny's ex,
17:37Zach, at a wine tasting, and gets to talking about science.
17:41Angular momentum. I was wondering about that.
17:46You can put it in a satellite or a rocket and it'll run forever.
17:51Cool.
17:52Because, as Zach points out, he loves science,
17:56and can even name a number of famous scientists, including Mike DeGrasse Tyson.
18:00I love science. Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Mike DeGrasse Tyson.
18:07Zach's name mix-up gets a smile of superiority from the geniuses,
18:11as the script certainly called for.
18:14What it didn't call for, though, was Kaley Cuoco bursting out laughing,
18:18which she did during one of the takes when Zach stumbles over the name mix-up.
18:23Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Mike DeGrasse Tyson.
18:30I saw.
18:31Number 4. Raj, the couple's counselor
18:35Raj might just be the character most in touch with his feelings,
18:39and the best one to give advice to the couples in the group.
18:41You made us feel like we're not trying hard enough.
18:43Yeah, we were totally fine half-assing our marriage till you showed up.
18:48Look, I'm sorry you're upset with me,
18:50but I just have to say it's nice to see the two of you on the same page.
18:54But that doesn't mean they always want his advice.
18:57And in the discovery, Dissipation, each couple, one after the other, tells him exactly that.
19:04First, it's Howard and Bernadette, followed by Sheldon and Amy.
19:08Thank you, Rajesh.
19:09And Amy, you need to be patient with Sheldon
19:12instead of pressuring him to accept intimacy on your terms.
19:17You should probably go.
19:18But before they got a good take of Amy telling Raj to leave,
19:21there were a couple in which neither Nair, Bialik, nor Parsons could keep a straight face,
19:27as Raj doled out his relationship advice.
19:30Thank you, Rajesh.
19:31And Amy.
19:33Why are you laughing?
19:38Number three, Howard's Al Pacino impression.
19:42Howard is a master of impressions, and in season six's The Love Spell Potential,
19:47we got to enjoy a number of them, from Nicolas Cage to Christopher Walken.
19:51Travel with caution.
19:55These woods are home to the bones of many a fallen hero.
20:02But when the girls return to the apartment where the guys are playing Dungeons and Dragons,
20:07Howard breaks out his Al Pacino impression to invite them to join in on the game.
20:11A satanic fungus that looks suspiciously like Al Pacino
20:17rises from the forest floor and says,
20:21You're playing D&D.
20:23You're playing D&D.
20:25This whole apartment is playing D&D.
20:33And yes, the characters are supposed to appreciate the impression,
20:37but if you look at the cast around Howard,
20:39you can see that these are real laughs, not acting laughing.
20:44I know not to fly over volcanoes.
20:50I'm a freaking idiot.
20:54And dragons, Christopher Walken.
20:56Number two, Sheldon Spank's Amy.
21:00The episode in which Sheldon takes care of a sick Amy
21:03is filled with some of the biggest laughs of the series.
21:06You may notice some tingling.
21:10Oh, I'm counting on it.
21:16We all remember Sheldon putting VapoRub on Amy's chest and spanking her to punish her
21:22for lying about being sick once her condition had improved.
21:25Well, as big as the laughs from the studio audience were during these scenes,
21:29so too were Parsons and Bialik's character breaks in the bloopers for each one.
21:45Bialik actually goes and winks at Parsons while he rubs her chest,
21:50and Parsons loses it after each spank of her rear end.
21:55Sorry.
21:58I'm sorry.
22:00Action!
22:02I'm sorry.

22:20Number one, Thor and Dr. Jones.
22:24It often requires multiple takes to get a scene right, and actors can break character
22:28numerous times before finally keeping a straight face for the scene that makes it into the episode.
22:44And then there are times when the scene that makes it to air isn't the only one where they
22:49don't break, but rather the one in which they break the least. Case in point, Howard and Raj's
22:54concert at the comic book store in Season 9. As you can see in this blooper, Kaley Cuoco is
23:00breaking through pretty much the entire song.
23:12But check out the actual scene, and you'll see Cuoco holding strong when they first cut to her,
23:17but once Nayir and Helberg hit those high notes, she breaks yet again.
23:33Let us know in the comments which character from The Big Bang Theory makes you laugh the most.
23:38Why are you laughing? His statement was factually correct.
