00:00It is narrated that the Prophet asked one of his companions,
00:06how are you spending your days?
00:08The companion said, O Messenger of Allah, what should I tell you?
00:12These are very difficult and poor days.
00:15My parents died when I was a child,
00:17and I have seen only hardships in life,
00:19I have not seen any happiness.
00:21The Prophet was talking to his companion
00:25that Hazrat Jibreel came
00:27and informed the Prophet that the life of the companion
00:32whom he was talking to is till Zohar.
00:36The Prophet's eyes were filled with tears.
00:39He said, O my companion, what is your greatest desire?
00:43Tell me, so that I may fulfill your desire.
00:46The Companion's eyes were filled with tears
00:48and he said, O Messenger of Allah,
00:52I have never eaten anything sweet in my life,
00:55and my desire is to eat sweet in my life.
00:58And my other desire is to find a good wife in my life
01:02so that I may spend my life with her.
01:05The Prophet called Hazrat Abu Bakr, Umar and Hazrat Ali
01:12and asked the man, do you have any relatives?
01:16The young man said, my uncle has a daughter,
01:19who is beautiful and pious.
01:21But because of my poverty, he does not ask me.
01:24The Prophet called his uncle and said,
01:27give your daughter's hand in marriage to the companion,
01:30who is your nephew.
01:32And he said, I have married your daughter.
01:35The Prophet asked the companion to arrange the marriage
01:41and told Hazrat Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him,
01:44to cook sweet food for him
01:46so that the companion's desire for sweet food may be fulfilled.
01:49The companion presented his house
01:52and went to the house with his bride.
01:55He was given necessary things and sweets.
01:59The Prophet said to a companion,
02:02stay around this house from Zuhr to Asr.
02:05And as soon as you hear the sound of crying,
02:08inform the Prophet.
02:10The companion stayed there,
02:12but there was no sound of crying,
02:15but only the sound of happiness and laughter.
02:18At Asr, the companion told the Prophet the whole story.
02:23The Prophet fell in prostration
02:26and said,
