00:00Right, there you go.
00:02Hi, yes, my name's Barry Langer. I'm 72 years old.
00:07I've lived in this flat, number 17 Bond Street, for 36 years.
00:15The building next door, which you'll all remember was Hart's,
00:20they started demolition on it four weeks ago,
00:25and they caused some damage to my property.
00:28And now the council are involved and have basically said,
00:33you can't live in it, so they gave me five minutes
00:36to get the medication I need to get there, and just to leave.
00:41The owner of the site took me to a little bed and breakfast
00:47that takes dogs in, and I spent two nights there.
00:52But then, because the lady had more people coming in,
00:55I had to book into a travel lodge, which is where I'm staying at the moment.
01:04You can see my garden here.
01:07That's the patio door, you see.
01:11Oh, that white door?
01:12Yeah, that's the patio door out into my garden.
01:15Oh, right, OK, I understand now.
01:18It also affects everything, obviously.
