00:00This time I made sure to write into my script, fantasy, so that I keep skipping these games
00:12and having to go back and answer them and all of those sorts of things.
00:16So I'm going to be running through every game on the NFL slate this upcoming week.
00:22And we begin very early, over in England, it is the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the
00:27Chicago Bears.
00:28And the Bears are favored by a point with a total sitting at 44 and a half.
00:33And one of those, yes, Gino, we will be talking about the 3-2 Denver Broncos.
00:38I saw that this week doing my power rankings and could not believe it.
00:44That is an excellent statement on where the NFL is at this point right now.
00:49Gross.
00:51But anyway, the Bears favored by a point in this game.
00:54And a lot of the talk coming in is, oh well, basically home field advantage for Jacksonville,
00:59right?
01:00I know they're not the home team, but basically home field advantage, so why would anyone
01:06pick Chicago?
01:07Jacksonville, I believe the stat is they're 6-5 in these London games.
01:11So I mean, that's better than their home record was in Jacksonville a lot of times.
01:17But still, this is not a dominant home field advantage whatever whatever whatever.
01:23They do know a few things, right?
01:24Like you know how to figure out the body clock and you know how to adjust to all the times
01:28and you know the places to go to eat and you know the places to not go to eat and all of
01:32those sorts of things.
01:33But when it comes down to the actual football, it hasn't really meant a whole lot.
01:37And so I do not want to put a whole lot of weight into that when analyzing this football
01:42game.
01:43I more so want to look at what I think would happen if these two teams were playing at
01:48McMahon Stadium in Calgary, not necessarily whatever soccer stadium it's going to be at
01:52this time around.
01:53So I still think that this is advantage Jacksonville.
01:57I think that their defense is just so good that it is it I assume this defense gives
02:03everyone problems.
02:04And I think if you guys have been watching this enough you know that for Jacksonville,
02:09I do not view their offense as one that is matchup proof.
02:13Quite the obvious.
02:14Or quite the opposite, sorry, actually.
02:16So I think that this is going to be a Chicago defense that gives Jacksonville a whole lot
02:22of issues.
02:23And then on the Chicago side of things when they have the football, Jacksonville's defense
02:27right now is 32nd in defensive DVOA, which is a stat that measures efficiencies and things
02:33like that.
02:34So I, while I am still hesitant to put all of my chips into the middle on a Chicago offense,
02:46I do think that this week you can trust them a little bit more because of like Joe Flacco
02:53ripped him a new one last week.
02:55And so part of the stats are going to be skewed because of how that game went.
02:59But I do think that you see that there is quite a few areas on the Colts that you can
03:04exploit and Caleb Williams is getting better and better and better each week and more and
03:09more comfortable each week.
03:11And so I think that you trust Chicago in this game.
03:14I'm going bears minus one as a pick and I'm going with the under at 44 and a half.
03:18And again, because there are certain rules on this platform about gambling and all of
03:22that stuff.
03:23These are just what I would do.
03:24I'm not telling you to do that, but yes, those are ones that I would pick.
03:30And the whole purpose of this segment is a pick per game.
03:34I've kind of gotten away from calling it that gimmick wise because there are some Fridays
03:38that I just missed.
03:39But yes, we are going to, I do a pick per game and then we'll keep track of how everything
03:44goes and I will let you know on all of that before we get to our next game, Conrad in
03:48the chat.
03:49Speaking of McMahon, have you heard if the new turf they're installing is FIFA approved?
03:54I have not heard that.
03:58Anything with McMahon, I assume is barely approved by any health standard or did anything
04:04like that.
04:05So to think that it would be a FIFA approved turf would be, I think, very optimistic.
04:12I think it would be sweet if they could do something like that and start to build that
04:16because it's obvious, Conrad, you know, with the support around Cavalry FC, I think there
04:21is a significantly more of a footy following out here in Calgary than I think people would
04:27give this city credit for.
04:29And so I'm not saying like, oh yeah, no, just bring the national team here all the time.
04:34But I do think that there would be at least an appetite if you wanted to do something
04:38with them.
04:39You have a stadium that holds twice as many people three hours from here up in Edmonton.
04:44And so it's a tough argument to say, no, just do it here because anyone who would come
04:48here can just go there and the place holds more and so you can make more money.
04:52So it would be a bit of a tricky thing, but I would like for there to be a bit more of
04:57a focus on that sport here in Calgary because it is something that is, I think, growing
05:02in a very significant way.
05:04Back to the other style of football, it is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the New
05:09Orleans Saints.
05:10Bucs favored by three and a half, the total in this game is at 41 and a half.
05:15And the entire analysis of this is I just cannot get behind trusting Spencer Rattler.
05:20Now, I will say, New Orleans' success for a lot of parts this season, I don't think
05:26has been because the quarterback is just awesome and dragging this team.
05:30You know, like the whole move the sticks analogy that I like to use with Daniel Jeremiah
05:36and Bucky Brooks.
05:37By the way, just speaking this into the universe, Daniel Jeremiah, dream guest of mine, whether
05:42it be on here or on Sportsnet 960, that is a dude that I would just love to talk team
05:47building with for hours and hours and hours on end.
05:49But one of the things that they talked about is, are you a truck or are you a trailer?
05:54And Derek Carr has spent about 5% of his career being a truck.
06:00And then he got injured and went into trailer status for forever.
06:03So there isn't, and I think that is showing up in this number, there isn't I think a significant
06:09decrease if Derek Carr isn't the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints.
06:13Although I will say, if Carr was playing in this game, I do think that the Saints are
06:17probably favored.
06:18So maybe there is a bit more of a shift number-wise than you would think.
06:21But so I do think New Orleans can keep it close.
06:24And I do think that that defense is good enough that they are going to be able to keep it
06:28close.
06:29But this defense we've seen, a little leaky, a little leaky at times, right?
06:33So there is, I think a few ways you can talk yourself into a New Orleans number.
06:39But I just can't get behind going with a rookie quarterback in this particular game.
06:45We have seen how much it takes rookie quarterbacks to get going.
06:50And so to go with Spencer Rattler here, with minimal reps and all of those things, I just
06:57can't get there.
06:58So we are going to go Tampa Bay minus 3.5, and we are going to go with the under at 41.5.
07:02And I am now realizing that I said I wrote fantasy in here so I wouldn't skip it, and
07:06then I skipped it on the very first one.
07:07So we will do the fantasy advice here for Tampa Bay, New Orleans, and then go back to
07:11Jacksonville, Chicago after.
07:13For this game, I think you have to trust your main starters for Tampa Bay.
07:18Evans is a start every week.
07:19Godwin has turned into a start every week.
07:22Rashad White, I would try to find a better option than him.
07:27But I would also understand if you can't.
07:31But this is not one that I think you roll with Bucky Irving or anything like that.
07:35Also, there isn't going to be a whole lot of tight end analysis in this game, or this
07:39week in fantasy in general, because that position is just weird magic that doesn't make any
07:46sense and is difficult to try to track and follow in any meaningful way.
07:50So it is tough to say, oh, well, no, it's this guy over this guy.
07:54You are trying to figure out which predominantly large white man is going to trip into the
07:58end zone with the football.
07:59That's basically what the tight end position has come down to in fantasy.
08:03So if you think it is one of the guys who you have, great.
08:07If you think it's a different person that is on the waiver wire, do that too.
08:11It's very difficult to find tight end analysis.
08:13If you have a specific tight end question, or any questions at all, ask me in the chat.
08:17But yeah, for now, I don't know, maybe, is the answer on all of them.
08:23For Tampa Bay, it's a no on Rattler, although, if you wanted to, I didn't even look, if you
08:30wanted to put together a DraftKings lineup, let's just see real quick, what even is Spencer
08:38Rattler price-wise?
08:39No, I don't agree to marketing, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blahs.
08:43What even is this kid in Daily?
08:46Also, just for those who play DraftKings, let me know.
08:50I hate that the main option is just the main, basically the red zone slate, right?
08:59The 11 o'clock slot and the 2 o'clock slot, for those of us here in Mountain Time, one
09:03and four, for those who actually follow it that way.
09:06I am always having to go to, okay, no, we're doing the Monday nighter and the Sunday nighter
09:10in there as well, because those are actual football games too.
09:13So unless I have, if I go through and it's like, oh, I actually don't have anyone in
09:17either of these games.
09:18Maybe I'll take a look at those, but I hate that the default option is to just exclude
09:22some of those games.
09:23I just, I have never understood it.
09:25Rattler right now is $4,000 as a quarterback, which is below everybody.
09:33Like Kenny Pickett is $4,700 and he is the backup quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.
09:40So that's where we're at in terms of Spencer Rattler's price.
09:46So if you want a major discount at quarterback and think that he and Olave will team together
09:52for a great performance, then go for it.
09:55But otherwise, I think it would be tough to trust Spencer Rattler this week.
09:58I do think that you have to kind of go with Olave and Kamara just because of how talented
10:04they are and just kind of hope for the best in that situation.
10:08But the rest of them, like, this is not a week that I am trusting Shahid.
10:12The other one, I know I just said no tight end analysis and now here we are.
10:15But maybe this is just anecdotal.
10:18I don't really have the statistical evidence to back it up, but I do feel like rookie quarterbacks
10:23trust their tight ends and it seems like there's no Taysom Hill in this game.
10:27So Jawan Johnson is, I think, someone who I, I do believe of that clumped together group
10:35of tight ends, he is one who, like in the whole, like, it's like a cartoon where all
10:42the different things are piled up and it's these circles and it's just limbs or whatever.
10:46Jawan Johnson's head kind of just sticks out over the crowd in that big muddled mess
10:51of a cartoon ball that is the tight end spot in fantasy right now.
10:55So I think of those awful ones, you can trust him maybe a little bit more.
11:01Going back to Jacksonville against Chicago for fantasy advice, I would try to avoid most
11:07Jags in this game.
11:09This is not a Trevor Lawrence game.
11:12I think this pass rush really disrupts things.
11:15So I would look for a different option other than Trevor Lawrence.
11:18You probably have to start ETN and I do think that he gets a little bit, but I don't even
11:23know if this is a Bigsby game necessarily.
11:27So I would maybe look to avoid that.
11:29Hey Deeds, how's it going?
11:31Thanks for popping in today.
11:32The only Jag pass catching option I would consider would be Brian Thomas Jr. as he is
11:37turned into that type of a play every week.
11:39For Chicago, I think you give a few guys a look.
11:41Caleb Williams, I'm still not all the way there in trusting him to the point of suggesting
11:48that he's starting fantasy football yet, but it's an option if you have, I was going to
11:53say if you have Mahomes.
11:54If you have Mahomes, maybe you're looking for a different option.
11:56Anyway, Swift, I think you kind of trust and just kind of like, ew, wince a little bit
12:02because it hasn't looked great this year.
12:05For super deep leagues, and as we talked about last week, that would be 14, 16 team leagues
12:09and anything beyond.
12:10We had some sickos in 18 team leagues, how dare you?
12:13But I think you can go with Roshun Johnson and again just hope that he stumbles into
12:17the end zone.
12:18But I like the pass catching options and I like the town ends this week for Chicago.
12:23Moving on, at Lambeau Field, it is the Green Bay Packers taking on the Arizona Cardinals.
12:27The total is at 47.5 with the Packers favored by 5 points.
12:32I don't know if we will have a defensive stop in this game at all.
12:37I think that both teams' defenses have shown some weaknesses.
12:43The good thing for Green Bay is McKinney keeps getting interceptions every week.
12:46Last week they did limit the LA Rams offense, but it still wasn't as dominant as you would
12:52like it to be with the Rams having one good player on the offensive side.
12:56So I think that you can still kind of take from that that Green Bay's defense has some
13:03work that needs to be done.
13:05And Arizona's defense had a couple of weeks where, oh, maybe there's something, oh no,
13:10no it's not.
13:11No, no, no, there's just, there's not.
13:12The one thing you're hoping for on the Green Bay side is that Jordan Love kind of gets
13:17it back together.
13:18Because again, this offense probably shouldn't have had as many issues as they did against
13:22the LA Rams.
13:23And so I am assuming that it's going to get back on track.
13:27But it is the one thing that is keeping me from absolutely clicking on the Green Bay
13:30pick if you know what I mean.
13:32So we're going to avoid that one.
13:33I am also going to say, um, over 47 and a half.
13:37And so for the purposes of tracking for the pick per game thing, I am going to say Green
13:41Bay minus 5, but I am also going to put over at 47 and a half.
13:45From a fantasy standpoint, stardom if you got him in this one.
13:50I don't think either defense is any good.
13:52I think you can roll with both quarterbacks.
13:54I think you can run with Connor and Jacobs in this game.
13:57Even for the 14 and 16 teamers, Emmanuel Wilson could be an option.
14:01And all the wide receivers.
14:03Marvin Harrison is a must.
14:04Jaden Reid has turned into a must.
14:06But I think you can go with the secondary options.
14:08I do, as we've talked about, Michael Wilson is someone who has turned into a viable threat
14:13for the Arizona Cardinals in fantasy football.
14:17And I do think that Romeo Dubs' temper tantrum is going to help get him a little bit more.
14:23And I think you can trust the tight ends in this game.
14:25So yeah, smoke him if you got him in this Arizona-Green Bay matchup.
14:29On the opposite end of that, we go to Tennessee, where the Titans are taking on the Indianapolis
14:33Colts.
14:35The Titans favored by two and a half points, with a total of 42 and a half.
14:39My pick for this game is Tennessee minus two and a half, because I think they have just
14:44a couple more good players than Indy.
14:46Neither of these teams is playing very well right now.
14:50We have question marks around the quarterbacks at both teams.
14:54Will Levis gets hurt a couple of weeks ago, but they have the bye week.
14:58A lot of presumptions is that he is ready to go.
15:00And now, Anthony Richardson has been back at practice and doing the damn thing there,
15:05which I don't think that helps or hinders this offense in any way, shape, or form.
15:10So these are two teams that I don't really have a great grasp on.
15:13I continue to think that Tennessee should be better than they are, and I kind of continue
15:17to think that Indy should be worse than they are, and so I am going to make a prediction
15:24based off of that, and go with Tennessee minus two and a half, but this is the furthest
15:28thing from a game that I'm going to be clicking on.
15:30From a fantasy standpoint, I don't want any of the quarterbacks.
15:33Even if Joe Flacco is in there, I don't really want it.
15:36For running back on Tennessee, Pollard's a start, he's worked his way into that.
15:41And TyJ Spears is getting a little bit more of the offense as the season goes along, so
15:44for the 14 and 16 teamers, you can go with that one as well.
15:49And honestly, because we have bye week situations and stuff like that, it might be a play you
15:53have to go with.
15:54Anyway.
15:55Calvin Ridley, again, is a flex consideration.
15:58I think you can trust him.
16:00Waiting for DeHop to break out.
16:02I'm wondering when Nuke Hopkins is going to have his moment here, and start to get going
16:06with this offense, because he is way too talented to be as quiet as he has been so far this
16:11year.
16:12On the Colt side, it sounds like Jonathan Taylor is not practicing still.
16:17Sermon didn't look great last week, and the Titans, I have a perception of them that they're
16:22defense is pretty good.
16:23Let's just see here real quick.
16:25What has Tennessee done against fantasy running backs this year?
16:30This is always tricky to do the research for me, because I'm in seven leagues, and a few
16:34of them have different scoring, but I know that I set up the Vampire one to have just
16:37as vanilla, or in this case, mayo in your coffee scoring as possible.
16:43So what have the Titans done against running backs this year?
16:47It has been, okay, well, they've given up the 20th most fantasy points to running backs
16:51this season.
16:53So Sermon isn't necessarily one that I think you have to rush out and start.
16:56There are, in most cases, if you got him, you kind of have to, but I wouldn't be rushing
17:01to it.
17:02And I think there's a good comparison in this game.
17:04Deeds saying Spears was a bye week grab for me.
17:09I think I might trust Spears more than I trust Sermon in this game.
17:14That's kind of where I have those guys at.
17:16Michael Pittman is an IR player now, so I think that Downs has a real opportunity to
17:21step up and show what he can do.
17:23We saw Pierce be the deep ball guy last week.
17:25That is a, if you're projected to lose, let's take a home run swing with this kid and see
17:30what he's got.
17:31But I think there are a couple of passing options in Indy, but basically everyone in
17:36this game, with the exception of probably Pollard, is flex consideration at best.
17:42Philadelphia taking on the Cleveland Browns.
17:43The Eagles favored by 9.5, with a total at 42.5.
17:47This is such a difficult one to look at, but I think this is the most intriguing game
17:52of the week.
17:53Because the Cleveland Browns have obviously quit.
17:56Like it's just, it's done.
17:57They are, they have packed it up, and just enjoying the finer parts of being in Cleveland
18:05in autumn.
18:06Because they, offensively, if they make a play, odds are it's coming back because of
18:10a penalty.
18:11Defensively, they have talented players, but they're out on the field a whole lot because
18:14the offense can't do shit.
18:16And so they get worn down.
18:17And I think just emotionally this team is beat to hell.
18:22So I would have some concerns about everything on the Cleveland side.
18:27But for Philadelphia, it has not looked great this season.
18:31They have picked up wins, which have been nice, but it hasn't really looked as convincing
18:36as you would have hoped it would if you were, say, a podcast host who picked them to win
18:41the division and finish first in the conference.
18:45That has, that really hasn't played out in the strong, convincing way that I would hope.
18:50Right now, they are a game and a half back of the Commanders for first in this division,
18:55so not where we thought they would be.
18:57It looked really bad against Tampa Bay a couple of weeks ago.
19:01They did just enough to beat New Orleans.
19:05And it looked better than I think 15-12 would lead you to believe, but still not great.
19:09It didn't look great against Atlanta, and it looked okay at times against Green Bay,
19:13but that was a weird one with the turf being what it was.
19:15This needs to be a convincing win for the Philadelphia Eagles, and it just hasn't at
19:22any point this year.
19:23And so that is where I have kind of the trepidation that, like, it just feels like, it's one of
19:30the things we talked about, honestly, I know I've just bounced between three different thoughts.
19:33Um, hey, can you, can you tell that I kind of upped the vibe ounce today?
19:40But, for the NFL this year, anytime we have said, you know what, this needs to be a statement
19:48game for this team, it hasn't been.
19:50And there's such a trend with teams who are underdogs by more than five and a half points
19:55just winning straight up, that while it's difficult to trust the Cleveland Browns, I
19:59think you can at least put a bit of a sprinkle of hope, if you know what I mean, on the Browns
20:06as a bit of an underdog play here, because I just can't trust that Philadelphia is going
20:10to get it worked out.
20:11And so, against all better judgment, I am going Cleveland plus nine and a half.
20:17But again, the furthest thing that I would be looking at in terms of making any type
20:24of a financial investment in anything in this game, Conrad going, die, Eagles, die.
20:30Conrad, I don't know if we've talked about, who is your football team?
20:34You know what we probably have, and I forgot, and I'm really sorry about that, I just kind
20:38of assumed because of San Diego ties, we were Chargers people, but I mean, because of San
20:43Diego ties, maybe we're not Chargers people, so, but we're obviously not, okay, we are
20:47Chargers people.
20:48Okay.
20:49That is very aggressive against the Eagles then, but understanding, it's been frustrating
20:55so far this year.
20:56Ah, that's it.
20:59We got there.
21:00See, when in doubt, just assume that.
21:02So that checks out for sure.
21:04Also, sorry, I forget that I put these up on social media, or not on social media, I
21:09put these up on YouTube and in podcast form after, and the chat doesn't pop up in there,
21:13so they don't have a clue what we're talking about.
21:15Conrad says, die, Eagles, die in the chat.
21:17I say, are you, I thought you were a Chargers fan, he says, I am, and then fuck Dean Spanos.
21:22So that is the second part of the phone call that you guys couldn't listen to when I was
21:27just rambling on there.
21:28From a fantasy standpoint, I know I just said that I don't think the Eagles get it done,
21:32but I do think that you have to trust your Eagles in fantasy this week.
21:38Jalen Hurts probably, you know, even though it hasn't looked all that good, where is Jalen
21:41Hurts?
21:42I don't know why I keep closing the fantasy thing on my, um, I keep closing the fantasy
21:48thing on my laptop.
21:49Well, I know why.
21:50It's because I'm constantly worried that we're going to be having those delay issues again,
21:54and so having more than two windows open at one time just feels like it would completely
21:58overwhelm anything that I am doing, which is, again, a great fear to have as a streamer.
22:05Pupsnap, thanks Juju.
22:06Man, Juju Smith-Schuster, helping people out.
22:10That is, that is for sure.
22:12What a performance last week, and again, maybe go out and check and just see, where's, where's
22:17this guy sitting right now, waiver-wire wise?
22:19Because I think that he's going to have a lot of options, or a lot of games like that,
22:23maybe not necessarily points wise, but targets wise and opportunity wise, and I think that
22:28because they're on a bye, maybe a whole lot of people aren't necessarily picking him up.
22:32Jalen Hurts right now is, well, I guess it's weird to take a look at where they're ranking
22:37because we're into bye weeks and stuff like that, so he did miss a week, but right now
22:41he is very low on the quarterback list.
22:43I do think you have to kind of trust him this week.
22:45As Conrad says in the chat, the Browns are the, uh, the Browns are the Browns.
22:50Um, oh, I think that was directed to the Browns are the Browns comment.
22:54That's fair.
22:56But still, gave me a chance to throw some Juju Smith-Schuster analysis in there, which
23:00we always like to take it.
23:02But for the, uh, for fantasy for this game, I do think that you kind of have to roll with
23:07Hurts and see, but because he has Brown and Smith back, we are assuming, I think that
23:11this offense does get back to what we think it is going to be.
23:15Saquon Barkley's always amazing, so you have to go with him, and from the tight end position,
23:20again, Dallas Goddard is better than most, so roll with it.
23:24For the Browns, I'm not sure who you're trusting in this matchup, to be perfectly honest with
23:28you.
23:29Jerome Ford, I'm still waiting for him to break out, I still think there's a talented
23:32running back in there, I just think this situation's really bad.
23:35Also, I don't know if I'm trusting the offensive line there a whole lot, but Ford is probably
23:40a flex option, but even like Amari Cooper at this point, there are probably some rosters
23:45that have Amari Cooper on there that have three better options than Amari Cooper because
23:50of how bad this offense is.
23:52Cooper is so good that if you want to throw him in there and hope that you take advantage
23:55against a Philadelphia secondary that has been taken advantage of, I have no problem
24:00with it, but I'm the furthest thing from suggesting that he is a must-start this week.
24:05On to Houston against the New England Patriots.
24:11Texans favored by six and a half, the total is at 37 and a half.
24:15I, again, everything in me is saying, hey, do not trust going with Drake May in this
24:24spot because as we have talked about here, Drake May is obviously the better quarterback
24:28than Jacoby Brissette is, but this team is not set up to help a rookie quarterback thrive
24:35in the National Football League, and so for him to be getting his first real game snaps
24:40behind an offensive line that is leaky against a Houston pass rush that, while Houston's
24:46defense maybe has taken the slightest step back, the pass rush hasn't.
24:51And so I have real concerns about the safety of Drake May in this game.
24:55I think that they are going to be relentless in getting after him and really putting some
25:01pressure on Drake May.
25:03So I do feel like this is a tough spot that New England is putting this kid in.
25:10I do think that there is a concern, though, in Houston.
25:15The offense still hasn't really put it all together.
25:18They looked dominant against Buffalo.
25:20They looked like a team that scored more than 23 points when you just look at the game and
25:26how it was played, but it still hasn't really clicked.
25:30And the one thing New England can do, it's defend on not Thursday night games.
25:35And now, no Niko Collins in the lineup for the Houston Texans, and a New England defense
25:42that does a pretty good job of taking away the number one options on those teams, I do
25:47think that they are going to be a team that tries to take Stephon Diggs away, and if you
25:51can connect that with Takedell deep over the top, by all means go for it, but he is, we're
25:56not going to let Stephon Diggs beat us.
25:59If you're going to hit a couple of big shots, go for it, but that's going to have to be
26:02the way that you win this game.
26:04So I actually think, like, the under is THE play in this one.
26:07And honestly, I don't know why I didn't highlight this for myself before, but we are absolutely
26:12going to highlight that one there.
26:14Under 37.5, but I'm also going to say New England, plus 6.5.
26:17I think the Texans win, but I do think that it is close.
26:20From a fantasy standpoint, as talked about, CJ Stroud, he's the 10th ranked quarterback
26:24in fantasy right now, I would still see if I could have other options out there.
26:30For example, in the Vampire League, my wife, who is in second place right now, is a team
26:37that has CJ Stroud, but also has Jared Goff.
26:42Rollin' with Jared Goff this week, in this matchup, so I think there are some quarterbacks
26:45out there that you can trust over a CJ Stroud.
26:48Deeds, excellently put in the chat, yes, optical blinking, thank you for the chat, but we are
26:53all famous in here.
26:55We are an incredibly influential group in this chat, but thank you for that, anyway.
27:03At the running back spot, if Joe Mixon is playing, I think you kind of have to play
27:06him, just because of how good he was in Week 1, but if it is Pierce or Akers or anyone
27:11like that, absolutely not.
27:14As I just discussed, I think New England is going to do a good job of limiting both wide
27:17receivers that you really focus on in Houston, so I don't know if I'm trusting anyone
27:24in this game, on either side, really.
27:27I would do my best to not put Diggs out there, and Dell would be a, if you are desperate,
27:33sort of a play.
27:35On the New England side, it's the same as always.
27:37You are trusting no one, with the exception of Ramondre Stevenson, and even then you're
27:40hoping he doesn't fumble.
27:42Washington taking on Baltimore, the Ravens favored by 7 points, with a total at 51.5.
27:47I think this game is going to be insanity.
27:49I think this game is going to be so much fun, and this is the game where I am going to take
27:56Washington seriously.
27:58I know we had the chat earlier in the week about, oh, well, who has Washington beat?
28:02And I countered with, who has anyone beat?
28:04Because no one's anyone in the NFL right now.
28:06The best team in the league, no one's taking seriously.
28:09And so if you're not doing that, who can we take seriously, really, in this league?
28:13And so, I think that this Washington team is legit.
28:18I do have worries about their defense, still, for sure, but I do think that this is going
28:23to be a team that is going to be able to put points up.
28:27And they're facing a Baltimore secondary that has been very vulnerable to passing attacks
28:32this season.
28:33And so I think this game turns into the shootout that everyone thinks it is going to be.
28:39Number 51 and a half is pretty high, given how the NFL has been going, but I think Washington
28:45is able to keep up with Baltimore.
28:47The one way that I think the Ravens win, and it's the thing that is keeping me from going
28:51the over on this game, I wonder if Baltimore tries to, to steal a basketball term, dribble
28:57the air out of the ball.
28:58I think they try to just kind of run some clock, run this game down, and try to slow
29:03it down, and play it at a pace that Washington, I don't, I don't want to say they're not
29:08comfortable at, we just haven't seen them play at it, and we certainly haven't seen
29:12them thrive at it.
29:13So I think that this is going to be, that would be the game plan if it were me, if it's
29:18Baltimore, although you can certainly understand if they want to take some shots against a
29:22defense that is lacking in the talent department, although they have been coached very, very
29:26well by Dan Quinn so far this year.
29:30But I think that the holes in the Baltimore secondary do leave them vulnerable.
29:34I'm taking a shot in this one.
29:35I'm going Washington money line.
29:37I'm going Washington to win this straight up.
29:40I'm not even suggesting.
29:42They're giving me seven points, I'm not going to take the points.
29:45I'm just going to go right at it.
29:46We're getting Washington to win this one.
29:48And from a fantasy standpoint, this one's easy.
29:50You're starting everybody.
29:52If they have B-A-L, or W-S-H, beside their name, throw them on in there.
29:58I'm trusting Hill.
29:59I'm trusting Isaiah Likely?
30:01Sure.
30:02Ertz on Washington?
30:03Get them on in there.
30:04Robinson?
30:05Yes.
30:06Totally.
30:07All of them.
30:08Throw it on in there.
30:10And let's give this one a whirl, because I think this game is going to be insane.
30:14Again, on the opposite end of that, Chargers taking on the Denver Broncos.
30:18The total in this game is 35 and a half, with the Chargers favored by three points in this
30:25game.
30:26Oh, Conrad, another 0 and 5.
30:29That's tough.
30:30I am 0 and 5 in one of my leagues as well.
30:33And it's a keeper league, so we have started the teardown.
30:35But yes, this is the Conrad v. Gino bowl in this chat right now, with the Chargers
30:40favored by three against the Broncos.
30:43Denver, I will say, I am not one who is really in a spot where I give credit to Denver a
30:52whole lot, based off of, you know, fandom.
30:55I would like to say that I'm not biased on this show, but I mean, come on.
30:58Come on.
30:59But as a Raider fan, yeah.
31:00I'm not really one who throws out a lot of confidence against Denver.
31:04But, they've looked better.
31:06They've looked better.
31:09And better than I expected, quite frankly.
31:11I believe, love the shoutout there, Gino, a little bit of Bo Dallas in there, howdy
31:16if you will.
31:17But I do think that Bo Nix is looking a little bit better and a little bit more comfortable
31:21in this offense already.
31:23And that gives you some pretty big optimism for Denver.
31:26And makes me, as someone who was very much a Bo Nix disbeliever, gives me a little bit
31:31of a, ooh, ooh.
31:33It's starting to look like what it would look like if I was going to be wrong on that particular
31:37call.
31:38And, since a bit of a scare early on, Javante Williams has also looked pretty good.
31:42But this defense continues to stand very strong.
31:45Now, as Conrad mentioned, they are a defense that is without their number one tackler now
31:49in Alex Singleton, who played a full game on one ACL, which, bravo to him.
31:57And, but also, that is why the ACL is already a, oh, well, he's walking off the field.
32:01Maybe it's not as bad.
32:02You can do that on an ACL for a bit, and then eventually, you know, kind of just fall apart.
32:08But you can do that for a bit.
32:09But still, nonetheless, very impressive.
32:11The one thing I will caution against, like, oh man, watch out for Denver, here they come,
32:16is that they have looked good against the Raiders, who everyone looks good against.
32:22I was going to say they looked good against the Jets.
32:23They didn't.
32:24They were just able to limit a very limited Jets team.
32:27And then, they looked legitimately good against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a defense that has
32:32proven to be a little bit leaky.
32:33And so I do think that maybe some of the reins need to be pulled in on these Broncos a little
32:37bit, and I think the Chargers are going to be the ones to do that.
32:41Conrad mentions in the chat, the quarterback has one ankle, and that is definitely a concern.
32:45You can go on one ACL, but one ankle, it's tough.
32:48It is concerning that every game he looks hobbled.
32:50And every game, it, there's going to be a moment where it's okay, well, he's going
32:54off to the sideline, and that blue tent is getting propped up here again.
32:59But I just think that the Chargers have the edge still in this game.
33:04You obviously like the quarterback significantly better.
33:05I would still take a one-legged Justin Herbert over a Bo Nix almost any day of the week.
33:11And from a running back perspective, I do think that there is, like, J.K. Dobbins and
33:18Gus Edwards, while I do like Javante, I think that group has really been going.
33:22Pass catchers, it's a watch, but I think the Chargers are just a bit of a better version
33:27than what, of the Denver Broncos right now.
33:30And so, I am going to go Chargers minus three in this game.
33:32I do think the Chargers go out and get the job done.
33:35Also, I just like the Chargers coach a little bit better.
33:37But, again, credit to Denver for being better than I thought you were going to be at the
33:41start of this season.
33:43From a fantasy perspective, my first note was, do you even own anyone in this game?
33:47We are looking at the running backs here, Dobbins and Javante Williams are the only
33:50ones I would look at.
33:51Any other pass catching options, fine on the bench this week, even as we are into bye
33:55weeks.
33:56Alright, we're going to have to pick up the pace on this a little bit.
33:58Pittsburgh against the Raiders.
33:59It's a good one to pick up the pace on.
34:00Pittsburgh, minus three.
34:01Total, 36 and a half.
34:03I'm going Steelers minus three.
34:04I don't think you need to analyze a whole lot of this game.
34:07The Raiders spent the better part of this week doing a quarterback competition, which,
34:10by design, means that they were splitting reps in practice, as they get ready for one
34:15of the best defenses in the NFL.
34:17Which is utterly insane to me.
34:19The Raiders cannot run the ball.
34:21Their best wide receiving option doesn't want to be there, and thus isn't right now.
34:26And defensively, they just gave up 38 points or whatever it was to the Denver Broncos,
34:30who as we discussed, improved, but not that improved.
34:34They also had Andy Dalton look very good against them, and we saw last week what good defenses
34:39do to Andy Dalton.
34:40Christian Wilkins is now on the IR, they have like two good players defensively, and about
34:46the same amount on offense.
34:48I do not see a world where the Raiders do anything in this game.
34:52Now.
34:53I have said that about the Raiders before, and then they somehow, someway, come up with
34:57a victory.
34:58I just don't think this is one of those games.
34:59I think Mike Tomlin is the type of coach that Antonio Pierce aspires to be, and I think
35:05Tomlin coaches circles around Pierce in this game.
35:07I think the Steelers win this one in a rout.
35:10Pittsburgh minus three is the play.
35:13From a fantasy standpoint, I think you can trust Justin Fields, the aforementioned Bownicks
35:17having a good game, and Andy Dalton having a good game.
35:19I think you can roll with Fields right now.
35:24With no Wilkins, you're trusting Najee Harris, and seeing what secondary back Pittsburgh
35:29throws out there, Jalen Warren limited in practice, and I think Cordero Patterson had
35:33an injury as well, but if either of those guys can go, I think you maybe take a look
35:36at it as well.
35:37And then Pickens in the wide receiver I think you can go with.
35:41The Raiders traditionally have been very bad against tight ends, but have actually been
35:45okay against them this year, so Friar Muth is maybe an option for you, but I'm sure you
35:52can find some other ones as well.
35:54On the Raiders side, the only players you even consider every week are Jacoby Myers
35:58and Brock Bowers.
35:59Atlanta taking on Carolina.
36:01The Falcons favored by six.
36:03The total is at 47 and a half.
36:06Under is I think a bit in play here, because I just don't think Carolina is going to hold
36:09up their end of the bargain on this.
36:11I think that we saw last week that while Carolina's offense got better with Andy Dalton, it's
36:18I think maybe a little bit more that they played the Bengals and the Raiders than it
36:21was that Andy Dalton was this great defense, which then led us down the conspiracy theory
36:26of oh, they didn't want Bryce Young to look good against two lesser defenses, so they
36:30just stuck him out there against two good defenses, and oh well, it's obviously not
36:34going to work.
36:35Let's go to Andy Dalton now.
36:36Um, a little bit of throwing him to the wolves in that.
36:39There isn't a whole lot of analysis in this game.
36:42Atlanta is getting better.
36:44Carolina is still bad.
36:45The Falcons are significantly better.
36:47We're going Falcons minus six.
36:48From a fantasy standpoint, you're starting your Falcons.
36:52Like Mooney, London, Pitts, Robinson, probably even Algier, I'm rolling with all of those
36:57guys.
36:58And on the Carolina side, I think you have better options than Andy Dalton at quarterback.
37:03I would hope you would.
37:04And you do go with Chuba.
37:06Chuba Hubbard has been on fire, fantasy-wise.
37:08And Deontay Johnson has looked better with Andy Dalton in this offense, so I think those
37:12are two guys you can trust.
37:13But that's basically it.
37:15The game that everyone's excited about this Sunday is the Detroit Lions taking on the
37:19Dallas Cowboys.
37:20Detroit favored by three.
37:22The total is at 52 and a half.
37:24Boy, it's nice to have a couple of games in the 50s this week.
37:27I know we have a couple in the 30s, which, like, three years ago, you would have never
37:30thought possible.
37:32But here we are.
37:33But this one, I think, does have shootout written all over it.
37:37We kind of mentioned last week that we were worried about Dallas and their banged-up defense,
37:42and then they were able to somewhat limit the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 20-17 win on
37:47Sunday Night Football.
37:48I do think that Detroit is a little bit better to exploit that.
37:53And we saw them get back on track this week against Seattle on Monday night.
37:58I think they continue that momentum here.
38:00And while Detroit's defense is still one I have some concerns with, I think they're able
38:04to just outscore any of their problems against the Cowboys.
38:07So give me the Lions, minus three, in this spot.
38:11As again, I think they're just kind of a better version of what the Cowboys are putting out
38:15there right now.
38:17From fantasy, you're starting your Lions.
38:18Goff is a play this week.
38:20Jamison Williams, Amon Ross, St. Brown, yes.
38:22Both running backs, of course.
38:24Sam LaPorta, uh-huh.
38:25All of them.
38:26You're going with it.
38:27For Dallas, I think you can trust Dak this week.
38:29Detroit gives up some points through the air.
38:31Rico Doudle is the running back you want in Dallas.
38:34And we saw last week, Kenneth Walker had a real big game against Detroit, so there could
38:38be something there for Rico Doudle.
38:41CeeDee Lamb is in every week.
38:42And I do think that Jalen Tolbert, getting all those targets last week, that continues
38:46this week.
38:47And I think he is a play as well.
38:49We'll be waiting all day for Sunday night.
38:51And this is, this is what I call a brownie points Sunday nighter.
38:56And it's a little, I don't want to say frustrating for me.
39:00But we are, in our household, it's Canadian Thanksgiving.
39:03We are doing Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday.
39:07But who we are doing with, they still have to work on Monday.
39:11And quite early, because they're both shift workers.
39:14And so we have said, we've got to be done by 7, so they can go to bed.
39:17So the only football I will be able to watch on Sunday is this fucking thing.
39:21Between the Bengals and the Giants.
39:23But if you have a significant other in your life who is not necessarily in the football
39:30watching mode, this is a big one where, you know what?
39:35I get, like, we've been watching football all day.
39:38And Sunday night football, it is, like they, they have set it up.
39:42It's prime time.
39:43It's when the best matchups go.
39:44But you know what?
39:47Tonight's about us.
39:48Let's just, let's, you want to watch a movie?
39:49You want to go for a walk?
39:51You want to go out and, here in Southern Alberta, inexplicably, see the Northern Lights everywhere?
39:56You want to, you want to just go do that?
39:57We don't need to watch this one tonight.
39:58This is, I've watched too much football lately.
40:01It's time for me and you time.
40:03This is, this is that game.
40:04This is a brownie points game.
40:05Because it's the Bengals and the goddamn Giants on Sunday night football for no good reason.
40:10Bengals are favored by 4.
40:11The total's at 47 and a half.
40:14The Bengals defense has given me major, major, major worries.
40:18And I, this line feels like a trap.
40:23Because there is no way the Giants have played well enough to be within four points of
40:28Cincinnati.
40:29And I guess they looked good last week against Seattle, so maybe that is kind of dragging
40:33this line a little bit closer than it should be.
40:35But you look at both rosters, and there's just, there's no way that I am trusting the
40:40Giants in this spot.
40:41And so when you see it's only minus four, it's like, ugh, ugh, they're telling me I'm
40:45missing something.
40:46What am I missing?
40:47Because you look at, like, Cincinnati, they're going to want to attack through the air against
40:51the New York Giants.
40:52I mean, against everyone, right?
40:55And I think the Giants are not really equipped to handle a Chase, a Higgins, and all of those
41:00guys.
41:01So I think they're going to be able to have success.
41:02Now, the one thing on the Giants side is, I think Brian Dayball scheming against this
41:07defense that doesn't look like it can stop anything is actually, you know, quite the
41:12sign and quite the thing to look at.
41:14But the Giants have Malik Nabors on the IR right now, not on the IR, sorry, but he's
41:17not practicing.
41:19And so I have major concerns about what this offense is going to look like.
41:23And the Giants, yes, they look good against the Seahawks, but they needed a blocked field
41:28goal at the end to seal that game away.
41:31If the Seahawks hit that and then go in in overtime, this line is probably like Bengals
41:34minus six, Bengals minus seven.
41:36So I think we're getting a value here.
41:37I am going to go Cincinnati minus four, but it's not one I'm clicking on because I am
41:41worried about Dayball against this defense.
41:43From a fantasy standpoint, you're starting your Bengals.
41:46I think you can even trust, in the run game, Moss and probably Chase Brown as well.
41:51For the Giants, with Nabors still not practicing, I do think you can go with Wandale Robinson.
41:56And honestly, Daniel Jones is a boy, if you're desperate, you can roll with this one and
42:02just go with it.
42:03Because I think that there will be some points to be had against this defense.
42:07But in terms of the rest for fantasy, it's tough because it's Sunday night, Singletary
42:11is limited, so I think in deeper leagues you can still give it a shot with Tyrone Tracy
42:16in like 14-16 team leagues, but you may want to avoid that one.
42:20Maybe a little bit more.
42:22And try to find someone else.
42:23And then we go to Monday night, it's Buffalo taking on the Jets.
42:26The bills are favored by two and a half, the total is at 40 and a half.
42:30I know that the new coach bump has been a thing in the NFL lately in that first game,
42:35but a lot of times that is when you are going from a coach that people don't like to a coach
42:40that people do like.
42:42You know, like the Raiders got a bump going from Josh McDaniels to Antonio Pearce.
42:47I felt happier when that move happened, and he wasn't even my coach.
42:51He was a coach on my team, but still, like, that was much more vibes-based.
42:57This one, it feels like the vibes are off.
42:59Like it feels like, oh well Aaron Rodgers definitely had a say in it.
43:02Aaron Rodgers is like, no I was as blindsided as everybody else.
43:04This is a coach that a lot of people liked, and a coach on the side of the football that
43:08was actually playing well.
43:10Now there's talk about, okay well this guy is going to be in charge of play calling and
43:12all of these sorts of things.
43:15And so yes, maybe you feel a little bit better that, well the play calling is going to be
43:18better if it's not Nathaniel Hackett running it, but we still have, they made these changes
43:22like Tuesday and Wednesday.
43:23I get you have an extra day because it's Monday night football, but still, that is a quick
43:27turnaround to implement a whole lot of changes.
43:30Doing it against Buffalo does make you feel a little bit better because this defense isn't
43:34good.
43:35But it just feels so tire-fiery out in New York right now that I have to go with the
43:40Bills in this game.
43:41I think Josh Allen gets right, I think that James Cook is going to be able to run on this
43:46Jets team similar to the way that Minnesota was able to run before Aaron Jones got hurt
43:51in that game out in England.
43:53So I think James Cook, that we're going to go old school with this Buffalo offense and
43:56Sean McDermott is going to love it because they're going to run the ball like 50 times
44:01in this game.
44:02So I think James Cook is definitely a guy that you can look at.
44:04Shakir's not practicing, so I don't love any of the pass catching options from a fantasy
44:08standpoint for Buffalo.
44:12You have to start Allen every week.
44:14He's your quarterback, right?
44:16I do think that Aaron Rodgers is an okay option fantasy-wise this week, given the Buffalo
44:20secondary thing, but we just talked about why I'm maybe a little hesitant on that one.
44:26And I think you have to trust Brees Hall and Garrett Wilson.
44:29If Wilson does finally show up, you're hoping that Brees can as well in a matchup that maybe
44:33feels like a bit of a plus one for them.
44:35So those are my picks and my predictions for every game in the NFL this week.
