00:00Karina, I would like to know what attracted you to this project?
00:05Well, I had to go in there with my eyes closed.
00:09Diego and Gael are the protagonists.
00:12They also produce. I directed Gabriel Ripstein.
00:15He is an international cast of the highest level.
00:18They almost didn't need to tell me what the character was.
00:22I was going to say yes.
00:24It was a precious opportunity.
00:27It is also an original series.
00:31A series that Julo does in Spanish.
00:34With those heads of the cast.
00:37To share both with old acquaintances.
00:40Like Andres Delgado for me.
00:42We have worked together three times.
00:44Guided by Gabriel Ripstein.
00:46Who is a director that I admire deeply.
00:48I have also worked several times with him.
00:51I would have been out of my mind if I had said no.
00:55The character was also something new for me.
00:58She is a woman of my age.
01:01She has the characteristics of spontaneity and madness.
01:06She lives a life free of worries.
01:11She has an imprudence.
01:15A very bright and colorful thing.
01:19All that was also very attractive.
01:21It was good everywhere.
01:23What can the public expect from La Máquina?
01:26And what would be the main message?
01:31I think they can expect a series of the highest level.
01:36It is also the first one Julo does in Spanish.
01:41They can expect a dramatic line.
01:47That is narrated in a way that escapes common places.
01:51It has a very peculiar way of presenting the characters.
01:56It has its dose of comedy.
01:59And also its dose of depth.
02:01It talks about friendship.
02:03It is a moment of suspense.
02:10I think they will have a lot of fun watching it.
02:14I think they will be hooked.
02:16But they will also have fun.
02:18They will laugh.
02:19They will empathize with the characters.
02:22I think that is the main thing.
02:24In a line, as in a message, I would say that sometimes losing means winning.
02:29And sometimes to win, you have to lose.
02:33It is the meeting of two notable figures internationally.
02:38Diego and Gael.
02:40That is always attractive.
02:42We love Diego and Gael.
02:44It is always very attractive to know that they are together.
02:48Andres, tell me about Saul.
02:50About this character.
02:52What do you like to interpret the most?
02:54And what have you learned working on this series with Diego, Gael and the rest?
03:00Tell me.
03:02What have I learned?
03:04A lot.
03:06I think the biggest lesson I have from this project is about acting and about life.
03:14To take risks.
03:16To risk yourself.
03:18No matter where you go.
03:20To play with your intuition.
03:22If you saw something about the character, it is a character that took me to play it absolutely.
03:29The possibility of not being in the project.
03:32My casting was more or less what you see in the series.
03:36And it was not something that was written per se.
03:39It was my intuition that I said, I'm going to play it here.
03:42Let's see if it works.
03:44Let's see if I try something for myself.
03:46I want to do something like this.
03:48I want to see if this gives me something as an actor.
03:51Also understand this universe from here.
03:55Find the vulnerability from there.
03:57Find the honesty from this side too.
04:00To try something and give it to the character.
04:03And for me that was the biggest lesson of this project.
04:07And I am very grateful to all those who gave me the opportunity and said that I could be the character.
04:12Because in the end there are many heads that say yes or no.
04:15And when you are taking such an adventurous risk.
04:18As thrown as Saul's character is and my proposal.
04:23Well, that's it.
04:25Life also rewards those who take risks.
