00:00Definitely everything that I could have dreamed of as a kid, more for my family I think.
00:07It's a brilliant achievement for John, something that he deserves. The amount of caps he's
00:33got, the experience he's got, the level of professionalism that he shows within the squad,
00:38the example he is to the younger players.
01:04He's been a big role model of mine ever since growing up in the playground, whenever I took a shot or a free kick I was always David Beckham.
01:10He was always a talent, but he always had great drive. We know the number of games that he's led for club and country where he made the difference in really important moments.
01:40As a football player, I mean, everybody knew how good he was. I was lucky that I was training with him. There is no coincidence for him breaking the record in United goalscoring and England goalscoring as well.
02:10It's really special. Like I always say, I think sometimes it's hard to really sink in whilst you're still playing and whilst these moments come. I spoke about that previously with some of the goalscoring records, but this is one that I'm extremely proud of.
