00:16Starting tomorrow, the price of rice will be P43 per kilo under the Rise for All program.
00:25Anyone can buy it from the President's henchmen without a limit.
00:29We're just lowering the price because we're already seeing a decrease in the price of rice.
00:37Aside from consumers, the program also benefits fishermen.
00:43Aside from the program of P29 per kilo of rice for 4Ps, senior citizens, and PWDs.
00:51In the latest price monitoring of the Department of Agriculture,
00:54local commercial rice is P45 to P65 depending on the type.
01:00Here in the Commonwealth Market in Quezon City,
01:02rice can be bought for P40 per kilo.
01:06However, these are imported and the grains are crushed.
01:09Electricity prices will also be lowered in some places starting this October.
01:14P9 per kilowatt-hour will be lowered in Luzon and P2 in Mindanao
01:21because of the lower auxiliary service or reserve of electricity
01:25that is supplied by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.
01:28However, in Visayas, P29 per kilowatt-hour will be increased.
01:33These are pass-through charges and will not go to the NGCP.
