00:00Welcome to Through the Looking Glass. This is my shop. Yeah, we're looking forward to
00:08seeing lots of people coming through. We've had quite a few people so far. All comments
00:14have been good. We've got a lovely team of people here that I've known for quite some
00:19time. Carol does the jewellery, which is beautiful, silver. We have Armel here, who's French and
00:27does the decoupage. Enid and Arnie are at the back here. This is Enid's garden room
00:35and this part is hers with Arnie, with the boat. Then we have Tony and Susie Bidgood
00:43in the back, who had a shop in Rye called Bidgood's. They've moved in with us and hopefully
00:52we will all do very well. Originally it was Stone Corner, empty for several years. I saw
00:59the shop, must have been about a year ago, and really liked what I was looking at. However,
01:05wasn't in a position to buy it at that moment, so had to wait for a sale on a property to
01:11go through. That went through and my first thought was to come down here and see whether
01:18the shop was still available. Luckily for me, it was. There was quite a bit of restoration
01:25to do inside the shop. Opening times are 11am until 4.30pm at the moment, but it might vary
01:33in the future. That's what we're aiming to do, seven days a week.
