00:00We have team coverage continues now with meteorologist and storm chaser Tony Lovack.
00:06That's right. He joins us right now from Bradenton, Florida. And Tony, the conditions are getting worse. Give us an update.
00:14Well, conditions are deteriorating rapidly. We talked about that about an hour ago in the Bradenton area.
00:20We've actually moved a little bit further inland because we're starting to see extensive flooding in the city of Bradenton.
00:26In fact, a lot of the roads starting to become impassable. We actually watched a group of people pushing one of the vehicles out of the water there.
00:32So we've moved a little bit inland. It was hard to tell if that was from surge or from the earlier rain.
00:37As you can see where I'm standing right now, there's not a lot of rain.
00:40We're kind of getting some dry air being pulled in on the south side of this.
00:44So as that eye is making its approach, we're not seeing the rain we would normally see with that.
00:49But we are definitely seeing the winds and we are seeing those winds at about 70 plus.
00:54You can see kind of behind me a lot of the trees blowing around.
00:57We've had numerous power flashes kind of in all directions in the time that we've been here.
01:02Some have been behind me, some to my north, some to my south.
01:05The power in the immediate vicinity is on right now, but we are seeing off and on power outages scattered throughout the area.
01:15It just depends on city blocks and what have you.
01:17A lot of the lights are out in this area as well.
01:20We are starting to see some minor tree damage, a couple of trees in the city.
01:24We did see a lot of the larger limbs were blowing across the road.
01:28Some of the roads were blocked by some of the debris.
01:30You can hear the wind coming in at me right now.
01:33We're seeing occasionally tree limbs and branches blowing right now.
01:36This is a good gust.
01:38There goes a tree limb right there.
01:41Yeah, we're really getting blown around here.
01:43We're probably approaching 70 or 80 right now.
01:47Definitely getting a little bit on the deterioration side here.
01:50We're going to continue to kind of hold here in this area as the eye works its approach here, guys.
01:55We are seeing winds gusting 70, maybe 80 miles per hour.
01:59I want you to be aware of this.
02:03You are in a high wind warning, an extreme high wind warning.
02:08That's for sustained winds of at least 115 miles per hour.
02:11That's coming for you, unfortunately, my friend.
02:14In the next hour, things are going to get far worse.
02:16Tony Auerbach live in Bradenton, Florida.
02:19And he will also be in the eye in the next two hours.
02:24All right, really quickly, there's the radar.
02:26I'm going to get to that in a second.
02:28I want to show you the extreme high wind warning.
02:31You don't see this often, but there it is.
02:33Clearwater, Tampa, all the way down toward Bradenton.
02:37That's when we believe conditions are going to have sustained winds of at least 115 miles per hour.
