00:07that will be held in Clark, Pampanga this month.

00:14Three weeks before the 2024 East Asia Baseball Cup that will be held in the country,

00:22the Philippine National Baseball Team is still preparing

00:26to defend their title in the tournament.

00:29According to Head Coach Vin Sagisi,

00:31this is a great opportunity for the Philippine National Baseball Team

00:34to show off in front of the Philippine fans.

00:56We welcome the challenge of being the host team.

00:59We don't fear it.

01:01Me as a coach, I'm ecstatic, I'm happy.

01:05It's an opportunity to show baseball here in the Philippines.

01:09For LBP Finals MVP Clarence Caasalan,

01:12they need to strengthen the offense and defense of the team.

01:16We want to improve in almost everything.

01:18But right now, we're really focusing on hitting because that's where we'll score.

01:25Despite the upcoming challenges,

01:27Kyle Vinafanya Jr. is not hiding his excitement

01:31to represent the country in the upcoming tournament.

01:34For us, we feel excited because

01:37last time we hosted the SEA Games in 2019.

01:40So the pressure right now is light

01:43because we feel that it's excitement, not pressure.

01:48The East Asia Baseball Cup will start on October 29,

01:53which will last until November 4 at Clark International Sports Complex.
