00:00Thinking about this segment, thinking about Kansas City,
00:04and I mean this with all sincerity,
00:06I think that now in 2024,
00:09it's actually probably true like last year,
00:11maybe even like 2022 also,
00:14I think the laziest thing across any medium
00:18that anyone that talks into a microphone,
00:21is on TV, does radio, or writes,
00:24you do content for a living.
00:26The laziest thing that you can do
00:29as a content creator is comparing someone
00:34or something to Thanos from the Marvel movies.
00:39So please, kindly, forgive me when I say
00:43that the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs are Thanos
00:46because the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs are inevitable.
00:48It just kind of is what it is.
00:49Like, I'm sorry, it's really lazy.
00:51Everyone says it.
00:52Also, it's true.
00:54The difference though, in movies,
00:58sometimes the good guys win.
00:59Good guys can come back and win.
01:03I've seen Endgame a couple of times.
01:05Great movie.
01:06I still don't know how they were able to come back,
01:10with like the rat was in whatever,
01:12like it tripped on something and Ant-Man came back.
01:14Something, some inexplicable plot device
01:16to make it so Thanos could lose at the end of Endgame.
01:19Sorry if I spoiled that for you, everybody.
01:21Movie came out like a decade ago.
01:23Good guys can win in the movies, right?
01:25The good guys often do win in the movies.
01:28But in real life, a lot of times the bad guys just win.
01:33Sometimes it's the team that wins every single year
01:38that just wins again.
01:40We just watched Brady and Belichick do it for two decades
01:44with the New England Patriots.
01:46And for Kansas City, no Rasheed Rice,
01:49no Hollywood Brown, no Isaiah Pacheco,
01:52no fricking problem.
