00:06between cultures, between peoples of around the world. You know, it's important to talk about this,
00:12it's, you know, creativity and cultural exchange is not only about economic value,
00:18it's also about values themselves.
00:30The fourth World Conference on Creative Economy brought together over 2,000 global creative leaders,
00:39experts and policy makers to shape and drive progress across the creative economic sphere.
00:45Since we are the host country, we really, really hope that this fourth edition would support the
00:52further development of creative economy and the conference, because the World Conference on
00:58Creative Economy actually has the really, really great goal to become the largest platform,
01:05global platform for collaboration in creative industries.
01:08Cultural and creative industries are among the fastest growing sectors globally, generating
01:14annual revenues of around 2 trillion euros and contributing 3.1% to global GDP.
01:22The forum was a platform to discuss the impact that emerging technology,
01:26AI and digitization are having on the creative sector.
01:30I think that it's a huge opportunity and it's very difficult to think about creative industries
01:36today without digitalization, but at the same time it's a challenge, first of all, because
01:42you have to train the artistic community and the creative community, because there are risks
01:49in artificial intelligence, for example, substituting the artist.
01:55So we need the intellectual property framework to protect the creators.
