Ranveer Singh Says Singham Again Marks Debut Of Baby Simmba As Deepika Was Pregnant During Shoot

At the grand trailer launch event of ‘Singham Again’ in Mumbai, Ranveer Singh announced that Rohit Shetty’s cop drama is his baby girl’s debut film. The actor revealed that his actress wife Deepika Padukone was pregnant while shooting for the upcoming actioner, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Ravi Kishan. Addressing the media at the event, Ranveer Singh said, “Deepika is busy with the baby, so she couldn't come. My duty is at night, so I came. There are so many stars in our film. I'll also tell you that this is my baby's debut, Baby Simba, because Deepika was pregnant during the shooting. So on behalf of Lady Singham, Simba, and Baby Simba, I wish you all a Happy Diwali in advance.” The Cop Universe film 'Singham Again' features Ajay Devgn in the role of a modern Lord Ram, Kareena Kapoor Khan as Goddess Sita, and Tiger Shroff as Lakshman, while Ranveer Singh portrays Hanuman. Deepika Padukone plays cop Shakti Shetty aka Lady Singham, while Arjun Kapoor is Ravana. 'Singham Again' is set to hit the big screens on Diwali 2024, on November 1.
