00:00The Business Group hopes that the 2025 budget will provide a foundation that will help small and medium-sized businesses

00:09to deal with the increasing business costs and the increasingly competitive market.

00:14They say that the PKS profit margin has been affected by the increase in export costs, wages and rents,

00:20as well as the severe shortage.

00:23PKS Malaysia CEO Chin Chi Siong hopes that the government will increase the value of the digital grant offered.

00:31Last year, the government provided a 50% or up to RM5,000 grant for small and medium-sized businesses

00:41to help them accept the use of new technology and improve business operations.

00:47Meanwhile, President of the Small and Medium-Sized Business Association William Ng said

00:53that many PKS owners at the moment cannot take risks,

00:57possibly due to a shortage of high added value efforts.

01:01Ng encouraged the government to help PKS increase the value chain by offering more incentives

01:07for the use of AI and digital in the 2025 budget.

01:13He also suggested that PKS, which plans to expand abroad,

01:17be given a 2x discount on spending up to RM200,000 each.
