00:00An oiled-up interview with a childhood crush, stowing away in a stranger's trunk, and
00:05wrestling a judo champion at a fancy party.
00:08Over the years, the shameless, impractical Jokers have come up with some truly unforgettable
00:12gags.
00:13For Murr's punishment for losing in Poor Taste Buds, he got what initially seems like
00:18a pretty enjoyable task—being a culinary expert and critic, tasting and rating food
00:23in front of a class.
00:24However, the guys soon let him in on the twist.
00:28His mouth is going to be injected with as much Novocaine as is clinically allowed just
00:32before going onstage, meaning he won't be able to taste anything or speak properly.
00:37As soon as the dentist injects the Novocaine, its effect is noticeable on Murr.
00:41Most people get spaghetti and meatballs in a Bolognese sauce.
00:44Most people get spaghetti and meatballs in a Bolognese sauce.
00:49He struggles to pronounce most words, including those with the letters B, P, S, and F. Taking
00:55advantage of this, the guys make him repeat alliterated sentences using those letters
00:59constantly.
01:00Braised beef is brilliant.
01:03Braised beef is brilliant.
01:08Soon Murr has to start eating and drinking the food, which becomes quite the ordeal since
01:12he can't feel anything that his mouth is doing.
01:15The combination of Murr's hilarious struggles with completing sentences, along with the
01:19great audience reaction, make In Poor Taste Buds one of Murr's top pranks of all time.
01:24The guys in Impractical Jokers kick off season two with a bang with the episode Elephant
01:28in the Room.
01:29The first challenge is the Holy Molar Challenge, which sees the guys pretending to be dentists
01:34and interacting with patients, of course having to do whatever they are told.
01:38For example, Q informs his patients he has an embarrassing story about sexually transmitted
01:42infections and Atlantic City before using the suction wand on his face.
01:46Tell him that's not your worst story about crabs.
01:48It's a goddamn crab case.
01:50That's not my worst story involving crabs in Atlantic City, if you know what I mean.
01:54Sal's up next, and he has to practically invert his patient on the dental chair before running
01:59out of the room and leaving him hanging upside down for several minutes.
02:03Keep the chair moving the whole time, buddy.
02:06Don't stop.
02:07Joe starts telling his patient about the various dental tools at his disposal, including shoe
02:10horns and dubiously named pliers.
02:13In the industry, we call this the bilateral hammering round.
02:17The best performance is from Murr, who simply spins and twirls around the room on the wheelchair.
02:23For the Strip High-Five Prank, Murr and Joe have to deal with an ultra-rare double punishment
02:27when both of them tie for last after three challenges.
02:31The two have to stand in the middle of Union Square and play a game of strip high-five.
02:35The idea is that each of them has to try and get strangers to high-five them.
02:39For every stranger who refuses to high-five them, they have to remove an article of clothing.
02:44Both of the guys have some success at first, as most people are pretty friendly.
02:48As soon as they start losing more clothes, people are more reluctant to have anything
02:52to do with them.
02:53Sir, high-five.
02:54All right.
02:55Oh, no.
02:58Pretty soon, the guys attract a crowd of onlookers, and they both get down to their underwear.
03:02Joe is successful in getting a high-five in his underwear, but Murr is not so lucky.
03:06Please, give me a high-five.
03:07Please.
03:08Please.
03:09Oh, no!
03:11Yeah!
03:12Yeah!
03:13Yeah!
03:14Agh!
03:15And he ends up getting his underwear pulled down by Joe in the middle of the street.
03:19Joe then grabs the rest of Murr's clothes and dashes off, leaving him standing there
03:22barely able to cover himself, looking deeply, deeply ashamed.
03:26It was as Q called it,
03:28The most public of humiliations.
03:30Season one of Impractical Jokers has some of the series' best moments, and the That
03:34That Looks Delicious prank from the episode titled, Out of TP, is no exception.
03:38For this challenge, the guys find themselves at a buffet restaurant.
03:42Unfortunately for them, they aren't allowed to purchase any of the food.
03:46Instead, they have to grab food from the plates of unsuspecting diners, and whoever ends with
03:50the least amount of food on their plate loses.
03:53Q goes first, but he almost immediately forfeits after no one gives him the time of day.
03:58Hi.
03:59How are you?
04:00You seem very nice.
04:01I'm not.
04:02Okay.
04:04Murr gets caught instantly trying to grab some corn, and another guy notices him grabbing
04:08a wing, though he doesn't say anything.
04:10He steals another woman's okra, and his plate ends up weighing a respectable one pound,
04:15four ounces at the end.
04:16Sal immediately starts grabbing food from patrons left and right, but he only comes
04:19up with one pound total.
04:21The amount of dirty looks that are getting thrown your way.
04:25There's mayhem going on out here.
04:26There's complete mayhem.
04:29Joe is the final contestant, and he starts scatting while grabbing food from a few female
04:33patrons.
04:34One of them alerts her husband, who decides to test Joe out and see if he tries it with
04:38him.
04:39When Joe does, the guy smacks his macaroni spoon away from him.
04:41Joe ends up following him to the table and grabs some fried chicken after a brief tong
04:45fight, but his plate still weighs under a pound, and he loses along with Q.
04:50The Best Impractical Jokers punishments are brutally public, and the one from Below the
04:54Belt is an all-time classic.
04:56Murr is the loser of the episode, so he has to endure the punishment.
04:59His task is to deliver a PowerPoint lecture on the science behind climate change, which
05:04Murr claims he can do in his sleep.
05:06However, while Murr is giving the speech, the guys will have access to his lower body
05:10via a hollow table he is standing in front of.
05:13The audience can't see the guys under the table, and they immediately start making Murr's
05:16presentation as difficult as possible.
05:19Sal begins by waxing one of Murr's legs while he's speaking, making Murr grimace and squirm.
05:25Next up is Q, who sprays Murr's pants with a water bottle to make it look like he wet
05:31himself.
05:32He then has to step on a mousetrap and walk around wearing high-heeled shoes, confusing
05:36the audience immensely.
05:38But that wasn't even the most embarrassing part of the prank.
05:48The coup de grace is when Joe turns Murr's slacks into shorts, again making him parade
05:53around in front of a bewildered and amused audience.
05:56As punishment for losing the Junk in the Trunk challenges, Sal had one of his most high-energy
06:01moments on the show.
06:02The gag is that the guys are at a local car rental agency and Sal has to hide in the trunk
06:06of one of the vehicles.
06:08He's supposed to ride along in the trunk until the person needs to open it, at which point
06:12they'll see him and be shocked.
06:13The prank gets off to a seemingly rocky start when the renters take the car on a much longer
06:18trip than expected.
06:19Sal rattles around in the trunk while the woman drives around, smacking his head several
06:23times.
06:24Eventually, the car stops, and a woman gets out and opens the trunk.
06:45Finally, when it seems like the woman is truly upset, Joe reveals the truth.
06:48It's actually his friend Melissa, who knew about Sal in the trunk the whole time.
06:52Her getting upset was all an act, and Sal bought it, hook, line, and sinker.
07:02One of the funniest recurring pranks on Impractical Jokers is the Did I Deserve That challenge.
07:07For these challenges, the guys are working as cashiers behind a store counter when an
07:11irate customer barges in and throws water at their faces while they are in the middle
07:15of a transaction.
07:16The guys then have to sell whatever excuse they are told to get the customer to say they
07:20did not deserve it.
07:21The first time the guys did the challenge was during the episode The Blunder Years,
07:30and it was one of the funniest of the series.
07:32Joe and Sal successfully get a no from their customers.
07:40But Murr doesn't have the same luck, though he does win $100 in a side bet from Joe after
07:45caressing the chest hair of a customer.
07:47The final participant is Q, but that's when the entire prank goes awry and ends up creating
07:52one of the best Impractical Jokers moments of all time.
08:03The actor quickly realizes his mistake but maintains there's nothing he can do now.
08:08Luckily, the aggrieved party is a good sport about the whole thing and is able to laugh
08:11it off.
08:13You know the punishment is going to be good in Impractical Jokers when it covers almost
08:16half the episode, and Murr's judo bout during a poolside cocktail party in the episode The
08:21Party Crasher is one of these rare few.
08:24For this punishment, Murr has to crash a cocktail party and start a wrestling match with two-time
08:29U.S. Olympic gold medalist judo champion Kayla Harrison.
08:33Murr already looks incredibly conspicuous wearing a wig made from Q's hair, and his
08:37constant flailing at Kayla quickly gets the attention of all the party guests.
08:42But he's only allowed to say one thing about the situation.
08:48After she rips off his toupee during an ill-fated takedown attempt, he has to put it back on
08:53and continue wearing it, looking completely disheveled.
08:56At one point, Kayla throws Murr through a table, and he just tries to play it off as
09:00best he can.
09:06For the finale, Kayla launches Murr over her head into the pool after his final failed
09:10attack.
09:11The guests clap and cheer for Kayla, who walks back and enjoys the rest of the party.
09:16Seeing Murr get manhandled by an Olympic gold medalist was a highlight of the season and
09:20one of the best celebrity cameos of the entire series.
09:23The episode Blind Justice features one of Sal's best all-time punishments.
09:27His task is to act as a hardened convict and give a scared straight speech to a roomful
09:32of teenagers.
09:33He thinks the only catch is that he has to wear a pair of sunglasses that 100% obscure
09:38his view and use a few props.
09:40However, the guys reveal to the audience the true deviousness of the punishment.
09:44He is, in fact, not speaking to a crowd of teenagers.
09:53He lectures them about not disappointing their parents and warns them about spending the
09:57next 50 years of their life in prison.
09:59The audience starts laughing at the ridiculous speech.
10:02Sal hears this but doesn't fully understand, which just makes him yell more.
10:06Eventually, he puts two and two together.
10:20And for the grand finale, Sal shows them his Jaden Smith tattoo, which makes them all break
10:25out in hysterics.
10:27It's no secret to fans of the show that Murr had a massive childhood crush on Danica McKellar,
10:32an actress from one of his favorite childhood shows, The Wonder Years.
10:35For his punishment in the Blunder Years episode, Murr has to interview McKellar in a hotel
10:39conference room.
10:40While that sounds pretty desirable, Murr has to do so while completely oiled up and wearing
10:45a Speedo.
10:46The guys tell him he's going to enter a bodybuilding contest, which gives them cover to douse him
10:50with oil and put him in a Speedo, but it was all just a ruse.
10:59During the interview, Murr is told what to say.
11:02And she is told to act as harshly as possible
11:11with Murr, and she delivers in spades.
11:23After thoroughly embarrassing himself by trying to do squats and flex for her, Murr is mercifully
11:28allowed to leave the room and McKellar alone.
11:30As soon as she walks out, she bursts out laughing, but Murr is probably scarred for
11:34life.
11:35The pranks where the guys participate in panels are definite staples on Impractical Jokers.
11:40One of Q's most hilarious was from Brother of the Sisterhood.
11:43Q has to sit in on a panel of experts talking about feminism, posing as the author of a
11:47blog titled Brother of the Sisterhood.
11:50And of course, he must disagree with everything the panelists say.
12:00The host is in on the joke, but no one else is, least of all the audience members.
12:04First Q has to explain the difference between men's jobs and women's jobs.
12:13Then he is forced to defend a quote from his fictional blog where he claimed that women
12:17becoming mothers turn emotionally unstable and irrational.
12:29After several minutes of excruciatingly uncomfortable and cringeworthy banter, Q has to give his
12:34closing remarks.
12:36And they consist solely of him telling the almost exclusively female audience that he
12:40finds it amazing they can go all day without playing with their breasts.
12:44It is without a doubt one of Q's most embarrassing and awkward punishments in the series.
12:50The coupé might be the best-known and longest-lasting prank in Impractical Jokers history.
12:55Murr's the loser in this episode, and his punishment is that he has to wear a wig.
12:59It doesn't sound too bad until you realize whose hair he's wearing — Q's.
13:03The guys have Q cut off his shoulder-length hair and make it into a wig for Murray.
13:15The wig doesn't look half bad at first, but doesn't suit Murr at all.
13:18To make matters worse, Murr has to get his passport picture taken with the wig.
13:23This is to contrast with Murr's driver's license, which features him with a shaved
13:26head and shaved eyebrows from an earlier punishment.
13:29Murr claims the hair smells like...
13:31"...whiskey and pot."
13:32Unfortunately for Murr, he can't just take off the wig after a day — he has to keep
13:39it on for the remainder of the season.
13:41There are several more episodes in Season 6 after the coupé, and Murr's hair just
13:45gets worse and worse as time goes on.
13:47The fact that it keeps going throughout the season makes it by far the best Impractical
13:51Jokers prank in the series.
13:53It's almost like multiple punishments in one, as every episode with him wearing it
13:57is like an extra prank.
