00:00A controversy involving Philippine Basketball Association or PBA player John Amores was
00:06tackled during the Senate hearing on the proposed budgets of the Philippine Sports Commission
00:11or PSC and the Games and Amusement Board or GAB.
00:15The GAB believes Amores has a problem with anger management based on the previous mess
00:20he was involved in.
00:21GAB was then asked whether Amores would be issued a license to continue to play in the
00:26said professional league.
00:30On the basis of his past conduct, it appeared to the Games and Amusement Board that that
00:36was still manageable.
00:38And again, in the interest of giving him the opportunity to play for the professional leagues
00:43and on the strength of his undertaking, we gave him a license.
00:46Now, at present, considering the gravity of the offense that he committed at this time,
00:53the same argument probably would no longer work for him, Mr. Chairman.
