00:00William Byron with a third place finish here at talladega.
00:02But he heads to the roval.
00:04Looking at the points right now, your P1 in the point standings, I know Rudy told you
00:08to go and have some fun.
00:09So what was the mindset with that final stage?
00:12Really just, you know, we scored a bunch of stage points.
00:15So honestly, for us, we're in a really good spot, just able to race free and just feel
00:19like overall, we're just we're good all day.
00:22We're kind of always saving fuel, you know, in the beginning parts of the race and almost
00:27gotten a couple crashes doing that.
00:28But just proud of our team.
00:31We executed really well through the stages, had to be aggressive to get the track position.
00:35And then we were able to to kind of put it together there at the end as we're moving
00:39here.
00:40Clearly, William Byron is really good at multitasking because he's talking to me and describing
00:43his day at talladega while we're almost getting run over by race cars on pit road.
00:46But were you surprised how aggressive it got so early in this race today?
00:50Yeah, for sure.
00:51The four wide stuff was wild.
00:52So it was Yeah, I was in the four wide deal.
00:55I was I was, I guess, the third lane out of four and just trying to squeeze in there.
01:01I had a really good run from the back to the front to kind of squeeze into the fourth lane.
01:05And then it seemed like everyone just started to spread out.
01:07So that's what happens when you have some fuel savings and some different strategies.
01:11But overall, just really happy with how we execute the third stage.
01:16And even there at the end, you know, making it on fuel was was really good to finally
01:19next week.
01:20We'll turn the page of the robo.
01:21How are you feeling?
01:22Good.
01:23I mean, I'm kind of bummed they changed their track on us.
01:24But I'm excited to learn what that's like.
01:27And I always love going to my home track and it's a place I really want to win at.
01:30So I've been second the last two times we've raced at Charlotte.
01:33So it'd be nice to nice to get a win.
01:35Thanks, William.
