00:15Two days before the filing of the Certificate of Candidacy or COC of those who want to enter politics,

00:21PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marville ordered the police to guard the movements of the armed groups.

00:29It is possible for them to be used by trusted politicians against their opponents in politics.

00:35While the election is approaching, it is possible for the debates and defeats of the opponents to be heated.

00:43That's why the police should also guard the ground.

00:46Because of this, Marville also ordered the addition of police visibility,

00:51the installation of checkpoints and enhanced intelligence monitoring in various places.

00:57We will continue to implement our strategic checkpoints,

01:02particularly in areas where we have previously monitored intense political rivalries.

01:10Because this could somehow dissuade those who are planning to form a government in those areas.

01:17PNP Chief General Rommel also reminded the police to be non-partisan.

01:23Meanwhile, PNP Spokesperson, Police Colonel Gene Fajardo, said that they will base the areas under the Areas of Concern

01:31during the 2022, 2023 and 2019 elections.

01:36We have election areas of concern that upon validation were confirmed by COVID-19.

01:42As of September 6, we have potential areas of concern.

01:49But Marille in Canada is yet the figures right now.

01:53Because this will pass through the validation of the Joint Peace Security Coordinating Council

01:58led by their respective election directors, including PNP and AFP.

02:06The PNP urged the public to be careful and vigilant

02:11and immediately report to the police the movements and people in their respective areas.

02:17Through the help of the community and the police,

02:20the next election will remain peaceful and safe for the next year.
